(I know I'm commenting on this really late, I'm trying to catch up on the podcast) I remember I went to VIdCon in either 2015 or 2016 and I was walking to my hotel one night. On my way over I saw Dan and Phil outside of a hotel lobby just talking. (I was a fan of them but I wasn't one of those weird obsessed fans, I always thought that people who stalk celebrities/internet personalities were weird as shit.) I saw them and told my friend that I was with, "Oh cool that's Dan and Phil over there. I bet they're really tired after today." My friend agreed and walked away. Not even 10 seconds after that, we heard a group of girls scream behind us, "OH MY GOD ITS DAN AND PHIL AAAAAAAAA" and they ran towards them. We looked back and saw Dan and Phil run back inside the hotel. It was so crazy seeing how fans could act like that and think it's ok. 😭
