Ryan I’m only commenting about this bc this is the most recent episode I’ve seen and also it happened today with my dad. Spanish is my dad’s and mine first language. Because you’ve mentioned that you have Palestinian heritage I just wanted to ask if your family spoke Arabic or anything other than English sometimes? My dad does this thing similar to what i’ve observed in you where he’ll start saying a sentence and trail off sometimes with the beginning sound of the word he was about to say. Native English speakers call him out on it sometimes but I don’t really have the issue where I trail off with beginning sounds it’s mostly that I have too many awkward silences and pauses during my speech. I was just curious if you have observed either speech patterns within your family?
