Sixth Fragment Selection poll and A Surprise Update!

For starters, on Royal Road we have just hit our latest milestone of 750 people choosing to favorite the story, which means it is time for our sixth official fragment selection poll! If you'd like to have a say in part of Vin's story and Edregon itself, swing by the latest chapter (2.87) and cast your vote!
In other news, I'm excited to announce that after working exclusively on Explorer of Edregon for the last 6 months (wow, time flies), I'm finally going to start posting chapters of a new work on Royal Road on 5/18! After writing so much for so long, my writing speed has actually increased dramatically, which has been pretty cool to watch happen. I decided rather than start working my way up to being like a hundred chapters ahead in backlog, I would devote some of this new time on my hands to a new story.
Rest assured, Explorer of Edregon is absolutely my main focus, and this story will always come first right up until I write the final chapter. There won't be any change in posting schedule because I love writing about Vin and his adventures, and I'm just as excited to see where the story goes as you guys are! That said, if the thought of checking out another one of my works interests you, I invite you to come take a look! I'll be dropping the first handful of chapters on 5/18, and I'll probably be adding them to Patreon shortly after (not quite sure in what capacity yet).
