I think it was good but felt like it really would have used a part 2

I think there were a lot of plot holes and contrivances but imo they were in service to a pretty solid episode and I think it was a very bold and impressive choice to make the first episode where the doctor experiences racism to be one set in the future rather than the past. The "his surname is coombs" scene is such a well excecuted subversion (bc before that you think that it's a pretty generic episode with a main character who's inept and a jerk but her arc will presumably be to grow and become a better person, but as soon as that scene hits all of the little red flags earlier in the episode come back in spades as you realize that this wasn't the story you thought it was going to be. And it goes without saying, but an incredible performance from gatwa
