I also like the idea that it's a case by case basis. Like if you dont feel like turning the camera on and feel obligated to be presentable don't do it! but other days I think itd be real lovely to see your faces

I love this Idea I'll still listen either way. I can listen at work come home and experience the episode in a different way. I always miss certain parts while listening at work. ..I got tits too Ryan its all good.

Not having a video component to the podcasts has really hurt some of your episodes, like the TwoMad one. Video will totally help the podcast in a huge way, even if it's just you two talking calmly on camera.

I think a video element can be great for gaining new subs. No one here's gonna stop watching. I think some are concerned that it will change the way you do your podcast but that's not necessarily going to be the case.

honestly, i think a video podcast is a must. people think they are missing out on stuff if they listen to just the audio version but i really dont think that is the case. the gus & eddy podcast is a video podcast but i honestly rarely watch the video, i almost exclusively listen on spotify and the only times i want to see the video is when they are showing something i think sounds interesting on screen, and then ill just go on youtube and go look at that part. audio releases and video releases are a great idea imo

unless you can keep the promise of never doing visual bits solely for the video podcast, which is gonna be hard to resist, i personally would prefer you guys keep it audio only. most people listen to podcasts at work or while driving and whenever i try to listen to a video podcast, there's always something alienating to the listeners. plus it isn't a podcast if its visual. its just a talk show. the best podcasts ever made (sleepycabin, grandmas virginity, MBMBaM) are all classic because they're not trying to be too fancy with video. its just simple audio entertainment. it lets your imagination go wild with whatever bits you guys are doing. thats what makes audio podcasts funnier and more unique than video. thats just my opinion, but i figured since you guys talked about it, id spit it out and maybe stop one of the best still running audio podcasts from making the mistake that harmontown, another classic, did.
