The worst part is he passed away from lung cancer on the 13th. His birthday was the 16th and because of Covid I was only able to schedule a time to see him in the hospital for 30min for his birthday :(

You guys talking about losing a loved one got me thinking about how I found you guys. I used to watch Markiplier when you guys came on board with him. I never checked out your channel, I just thought you guys were Mark’s friends who didn’t have a channel. Actually, when Daniel passed away, I actually thought Mark was talking about the kid from Damn Daniel in his videos because that’s what my friend had told me. Needless to say I feel like a fucking dickhead because of that. Around late 2015 after Daniel passed away I started to watch more and more Game Grumps and less and less Markiplier. I don’t know how I never found out about SuperMega then but it was probably because I used to have the attention span of a schizophrenic squirrel on heroine. I remember looking on YouTube on my birthday in January of 2018 and finding the video Cooking With Finn Wolfhard and loving it. After that you guys quickly became my favorite YouTube channel and only after about a month did I put 2 and 2 together that you were the same Matt and Ryan from Markiplier. It’s kind of weird that I was watching things that you were in all the way back in 2014 without even realizing it until 2018. I just want to say thank you for being there for me even indirectly via editing videos through all of these years. I’m really proud of both of you and will be here to celebrate 1 million subs when that happens. Thank you for everything.
