It took me the entire length of this video before I clued into the fact that I saw that video, and that was how I first started to learn about the fandom! After my partner introduced me to the existence of furries in general, I started my own little research into it and found that one! The rest is very much history, but it's ironic how you were very close to being my very first introduction to the furry fandom...
