Oz the Lizardman (rough draft)
🕑 Added 2022-12-17 21:00:01 +0000 UTCI’ve always admired people who are charismatic and have a magnetic personalities that bring people in. I wasn’t blessed with such abilities, in fact, some might say I’m the opposite side of that magnet, and I push away. Not that I’m a bad person or anything, I just don’t look like I am. Even as a baby my mom had to explain to people I wasn’t upset, that was just my face.
I’ve learned to cope and how to work around it. Becoming a writer made that easy, the internet made it even easier. Despite that, I still enjoyed getting out of my place. I loved coffee shops and cafes, even if it looked like I didn’t. I enjoyed going to them, sitting down for a minute, and writing just whatever came to me. I may not be the charismatic main character of my dreams, but I get to see people who are, people who aren’t, and everything in between. It’s nice sometimes.
My favorite to visit was called the Broken Collinder. I had started frequenting it about a year or so ago, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the palace so much I made it my regular. I would grab my favorite table towards the back corner and enjoy the people outside the window, as well as the ones inside the cafe as well. Don’t get me started on the owner either.
“Excuse me, young lady, but your typing is annoying the customers.”
I looked up from my laptop to see the owner standing right before me. The tall, handsome individual was called Oz, and he suited the emerald green imagery the name conjured quite well.
I closed my laptop and set my empty cup aside. “Oh, I’m sorry, sir, I didn’t realize you could hear it over the hiss of the espresso machine. Considering it sounds like screaming cats and all.”
Oz smirked, leaning onto the table and coming closer to me. “Then why do you always ask for drinks with the espresso?”
I tucked my hair behind my ear. “For the thrill of it.”
He clicked his tongue and lowered closer down towards me. “I don’t get why you creative types always have to come into these little coffee shops and write on your little laptops.”
I was fighting back the urge to break out into a grin. “I’ve never gotten it either.”
Oz put his strong hands around his thick waist. “Why do you do it then, Rocky?”
I shrugged. “Oh, I dunno,” I huffed. “Maybe I like to look at someone.”
His brow arched. “Someone?” He looked around the shop before looking at me with a big smile. “I wonder who that could be.” He leaned down upon the table, wiggling his butt out in a happy sort of dance. His smirk grew, showing off the couple of silver teeth he had in the back of his jaws.
I leaned forward with my chin in my palm. “I would never tell you.”
His eyes grew lidded. “Then maybe I should make you leave.”
I was biting back my own smile. “I would have to pester some other establishment with my typing.”
“I’d find you,” Oz’s tail began to swish back and forth behind him. “I’d follow the sound of your typing.”
My smile finally broke free and I began giggling. Oz leaned across the table to kiss me, cupping my cheek in his cool palm.
He sighed as he pulled back. “What are you writing today?”
“Not much.” I held out my empty cup to him. “Just warm ups.”
Oz tilted his head to the side. “Are you still having trouble with your current novel? You mentioned a few days ago you’d hit a wall.”
I pouted and nodded. “Yeah. I really don’t know what’s up. Everything so far is perfect, it’s all as I want it, but I just can’t…push forward.”
“Maybe that’s the problem,” he said with a tender voice. “Maybe you need to stop pushing.”
I glanced back up into his eyes. “Yeah, I guess.”
“Look, Rocky…maybe I should leave you alone tonight to figure that out?” He sounded more like he was hinting that actually wanting to go through with it.
I shrugged and gave him the eye. “You can still come over.”
Oz and I had been dating for just about as long as I had been coming to the Broken Colander.
“I don’t wanna be a pest,” he said with a slight pout.
A small smile broke through again. “Yes you do.”
He broke out into a bright laugh and nodded. “Maybe I do. You make it so easy. Maybe I’ll even stay the night.”
I mimicked his nod. “My place is closer to here.”
“You’re so good at math,” his laugh turned jovial. With his big, clawed hand he lifted up my empty cup. “What do you want this time?”
“Surprise me.” I watched Oz go back behind the counter, admiring his broad shoulders and the way his apron straps dug into his middle.
Oz was my Prince Charming, the other side to my magnet. Despite my perpetual ‘resting murder face’ Oz thought I was worth asking out.
Wait a second! Was that a year ago now? The thought hit me in the gut so I opened up my laptop to do some research. I checked my journal I typed in every night and searched for the first mention of Oz’s name.
Sure enough, I found it.
“What’s that look about?” Oz placed my cup down, this time he had brought me some sort of latte.
I gazed up into his dark eyes then pursed my lips. “Our anniversary is next week.”
“I know.” He straightened his back and put his hands on his hips. “Oh no, Rocky, you didn’t?” He teased.
My stomach sank. “I mean…i knew a year was coming but I didn’t…I mean the date was-”
Oz began to chuckle, smirking to himself as I tried to fight my way out. “You remember what’s important, right?”
“I remember you putting your number on my iced vanilla latte.” I said, picking up the new one he had brought me. “And how I couldn’t read your message under it.”
“Penmanship was never my top skill, but I still got that date.” He leaned down and kissed my cheek. “You came in twice that day.”
“Yeah, it was a bad week and your coffee was the only thing that was getting me through it.” I had gotten some bad reviews on one of my books, and was dealing with some pretty bad self doubt and writer’s block.
“Yeah I-” Oz stopped as people started coming back into the cafe. “We’ll talk about it this evening. Love you, Rocky.” He rushed back behind the counter.
“Love you too.” I took a sip of the latte, finding it was silky but dark with a hint of black raspberry. Something new.
I went back to my place not long after that, sitting my stuff down at my desk. I stretched out for a minute before lighting a candle and opening the drapes. Outside it was cloudy and the air was thick with the scent of rain, I was surprised I didn’t get soaked on my walk home.
I sat back down at my desk, pulling out a notebook then plugging in my laptop. Once I got my document opened I just stared at it.
“Don’t push. Don’t push,” I mumbled to myself. I leaned onto my desk staring at that half blank page. “Then what do I do?” I clicked my tongue then huffed. “If I don’t push…do I pull?” I read over the last paragraph and frowned. “How do I pull a story?” I leaned back again, flopping so my head went over the back of the chair. I looked at the empty Broken Colander cup on the counter and sighed.
A message pinged on my phone and I sat back up. It was from Oz.
“How’s it going?”
“About as well as cold molasses.”
“Hey, even that moves.”
I smiled softly. “How do I not push?”
There was a pause then I saw him typing. “You take laxatives.”
I frowned. “For writing!”
“What’s your writing laxative?”
I thought for a long while, staring at my phone screen until it began to dim. When I first started seeing Oz I was having an issue with writer's block. Not long after I wrote one of my favorite stories.
“Maybe I need to just not think about it for a while,” I replied.
“Then what would you like to do tonight to not think?”
My cheeks grew warm as the thought instantly sprang into my mind. “You.”
I saw him typing away but never really reply with anything. He’d type, stop, type again, and this went on for a minute or so.
“Okay,” he answered.
I smiled, knowing that meant he was overly excited.
I closed my laptop and decided to get ready for when he came over. I cleaned up the bedroom then took a shower, taking my time and enjoying it. I put one something special, covering it with my robe so I could do a reveal when Oz arrived. Afterwards, I put together a few snack foods we could enjoy before or after our fun.
I got a message around six from him. “I’m on my way, Robin is closing for me.”
“Aww that’s so sweet of them.” You paused then sent another message. “What’d you have to do to get that extra hour?”
“Don’t worry about it.”
I smirked and went over to my desk. I opened my laptop and watched at the screen turned on and that half empty page gazed back at me. A year ago I stared back at an entirely blank document, willing words to appear until Oz would call or text me. It used to make me so happy that he would talk to me. What am I saying? It still does. But back in those days I had accepted my fate as the ‘resting murder face’ girl.
Like I said, I never really looked very approachable, so it was a shock Oz gave me his phone number at all. I wasn’t the girl who was asked out, hit on, etc. I was the girl other girls hung around with because I made them feel safe, or I made creepers feel unsafe. Not that I minded that roll at all, mind you. I had a great group of friends now because of that ability. But as much as I desired a Prince Charming, I was never the type to get him, let alone be a princess. As soon as Oz and I started talking, for the first time, I felt like a princess. It was that boost of much needed fantasy that helped me get out of my funk the last time.
“Wow, you’ve got a cool place,” Oz said the first time he came over.
“Not really mine,” I said with a shrug. “It’s my grandmother’s but she’s in Florida so…if anyone asks I’m Rochelle Gladier.”
“So maybe I should call you Rocky.” He said with a big grin.
“I mean…I am named after her.” I blushed and looked around the apartment. “If you want. I don’t care. Want anything to drink? I’ve got some beer, water?”
Oz leaned on the counter as I walked into the kitchen. “Beer sounds good.” His tail swished behind him as he watched me. “You know, someone asked me today why I was dating such a mean girl.”
I froze at the fridge.
“I found that so odd because you’ve been nothing but sweet to me,” he murmured. “So, I asked them what they meant by that.”
I grasped the beer as I turned to look at him. “What did that say?” My guts churned with nerves.
“They said something like…oh, she looks so sour all the time, she never smiles at anyone, it’s not pretty to look so mean so much.” He said in a mocking tone.
I swallowed. “I’m used to that.”
Oz stood and walked towards me, holding out his hand for the beer. “Well, you know what I said to that?”
I placed the cold bottle in his hand and looked up at him. “What?”
“I told them that it was none of their business, and I’m dating a girl who smiles all the time and is as sweet as sugar.”
I’ll never forget the way that made me feel, so light, so wonderful, like I was dressed to the nines in frills and lace surrounded by countless flowers and beautiful things.
Oz placed his hand on my face. “Like this right here. I’ve never seen a more beautiful expression.”
It was only our fourth date, and maybe it was reckless of me, but I had to have him then and there. We fucked on the kitchen floor, and I’ve never regretted it.
The door unlocked then, snapping me from my memories and Oz let himself in. Outside a deluge had started and Oz was soaked to the bone. His shirt was sealed to his skin, showing off ever scale and bump underneath.
“Are you alright?” I gasped, jumping up from my seat.
“It was all nice and dandy until I got about oh-” he thought for a while. “A block away from work! I’ve been in mostly rain ever since.” he peeled off his wet shirt and slapped it wetly onto the floor.
I stooped over to pick up his shirt so I could at least hang it to dry. “Why didn’t you go into a store?” I fussed at him.
“What’s the use? I was already soggy.” He then seemed to realize I was only wearing a robe. “I knew I’d get somewhere warm and safe eventually.”
“Eventually,” I scoffed.
Oz went towards my bathroom, noticing my computer was on. “What did I say about pushing?” He chuckled as he went into the bathroom.
“I wasn’t,” I huffed. “I was just looking while I waited on you. Thinking.”
Oz came out of the bathroom in nothing but a towel around his waist. “What’cha thinking?”
My eyes flicked to the tent trying to pop below the towel. I averted my eyes and rubbed at the back of my neck. “Well, about us,” I said shyly.
Oz grinned. “Oh? You have to share now, Rocky.”
“Well, I mean, it’s been a year since we started dating. I was just kind of looking back on that.” I fidgeted with the ties of my robe.
“Oh really.” Oz encroached closer. “What about it?”
“Like uhm-” I backed up, feeling the kitchen island behind me the closer Oz became. “You’re getting close.”
“Yeah?” He placed his hands on the counter, boxing me in.
I swallowed and placed my hand on his chest. “Slow down there killer croc.”
Oz laughed as his belly pressed into mine. “What? I just want to make sure I hear you.” He then grabbed my hips and picked me up to set me on the counter. “Go on now, Rocky, what were you trying to tell me?”
I pressed my lips together, worried that I might sound a bit silly. I wasn’t used to the girly things, even if I liked them. Although, I felt even more ridiculous now because Oz had been helping me embrace that princess side of myself.
Oz smoothed back my hair. “Come on, love, talk to me.”
I gave him a small smile. “Just…that first time we…you know, fucked-” My cheeks grew warmer. “You did something that night no one has ever done before.”
His eyes lit up. “Make you cum?”
I snickered and giggled. “I mean- No. Yes I mean-” We both started laughing.
Oz sighed and looked me in the eyes. He held my face between his two large palms, tilting my chin up so I couldn’t look away. “Let me tell you something about that night, eh? Something that happened that really put things into perspective for me. Why I liked you. Why I was drawn to you in the first place.” He smooshed my cheeks slightly, making me giggle.
“I’m a big scary lizard, Rocky,” he said.
“No you’re-” He put his finger over my lips.
“See that? Yeah. That’s what I realized too. I liked you because you, my Rocky, are a big scary amazon woman.” His smile was warm and alluring. “You call me your Prince Charming, but that still doesn’t take away the fact some people will hurry their stride when they walk past me, or may not come into the cafe if I’m out front.” He shrugged. “I knew long ago I was this intimidating fellow, that’s why I act like Prince Charming.” He smiled again. “And then I met you.”
I held my breath in anticipation of what he had to say. “What about me?”
“You were wearing that big chunky cardigan. The mustard colored one. Your hair dye was fading, showed some roots, and your shaved side here needed trimming.” He ran his hand up to the shaved side of my head, petting it like he often did. “But you looked like a model. Your stride was strong, you aura as sharp as a blade, and that face-” He bit his lip and moaned.
I giggled. “That did it for you?”
He leaned in close and whispered into my ear. “I wanted you to step on me.”
I snickered and snorted. “You never told me that before!”
“That's because I got to know you. You weren’t this killer queen who drank only iced espresso or black coffee. You liked my sweet indulgent drinks. You collect stuffed animals and wear cuddly clothing. You’re like a pitbull. Bad image, but the sweetest personality.”
My smile turned shy. “And you still liked me?”
“Oh, I fell hard. I remember coming to your place that evening just vibrating to get my hands on you. Some rude regular-”
“He asked why you were with someone so mean,” I interjected. “I remember.”
He sighed and his smile went soft. “Yes. Because all I could think was how could anyone call my Rocky mean when all she ever did was hold a stiff upper lip.”
“I call it my resting killer face,” I chuckled.
Oz laughed and placed a kiss on my lips. “You don’t kill a thing though.” He looked down, brushing open my robe to see a peek of the lace underneath. “If anything, you’re good at waking the dead,” he laughed bawdily.
I pushed his chest as I joined his laughter. “Ew!”
Oz giggled and continued opening up my robe, exposing the soft pink lingerie I had on for him. “What have we here? I’ve never seen you in pink before.” He tilted his head to admire it.
“That’s what I wanted to tell you.” My mouth was growing dry as other things became wet. “That night, I always wanted to feel like a princess, but I never did until then. Because of you.”
Oz kissed me again, pressing close and rubbing his hand down my back. I looped my arms around his neck to hold onto him, breathing softly as our lips parted.
“So…” he murmured. “In that vein, wanna play a game, Princess Rocky?”
A shiver went up my spine. “What kind of game?”
Oz’s tongue lapped along his teeth. “The princess and the dragon.”
I wiggled excitedly on the counter. “Oh yeah? How do we play that?”
Oz put his arms around me again, leaning onto the counter top and coming eye to eye with me. He snarled low in his throat, causing a quiver to start in my loin and travel all the way up to the top of my head. I swallowed, taking a small breath as his eyes became lidded and dark.
“Silly girl, don’t you know the dragon always kidnaps the princess?” His voice was a deep, husky growl that could have made me swoon.
“I know that,” I said, trying to keep composure. “So-”
Oz suddenly ripped me up off the counter and tossed me over his shoulder. He laid a solid clap to my ass, groping it as he turned from the kitchen. “Where should I take you then? I’ve got to make sure it's somewhere where no brave prince can save you,” he chuckled with a menacing tone. “Perhaps a tower? A dark cave? Let’s see. Let’s see.”
I squealed and giggled, kicking my legs as he took me into the bedroom. He then threw me down upon the bed and pulled off my robe. I blushed profusely, feeling heated and tingly all over. I gazed up at him, putting on a playful pout as he continued his dragon act.
“Now that I have you, I can’t have you escaping,” he growled.
My heart pounded. “Escape?”
He moaned. “I know just what will hold you.” He took the belt of my robe in one hand then captured my wrists in the other.
“Oh!” I gasped. I then looked into his eyes. “I mean uh…you fiend!” I started playing. “How dare you treat me so cruelly?”
He looped the soft belt around my wrists then hung them over the bedpost. “Oh, I dare, little princess. It’s so fun to treat something as precious as you so …” He sucked in a breath. “Rough.”
I gulped in excitement. “Y-you wouldn’t. Then you’d really be a beast.”
“I’ll show you a real beast, princess.” He dropped the towel around his waist, revealing the said creature I knew very well. His cock rose up, pale green at the base and turning bright red towards the flared tip. Small ridges arched along the base going down towards his impressive sack.
“What do you think?” Oz chuckled, breaking character slightly.
I licked my lips. “It’s so big.”
Oz stepped closer to the bed where he had me tied up. “Are you afraid?” He grasped the base in his hand, prodding my lips with his glans.
“Will it hurt me?” I mewled.
“Mmm,” he moaned. “Depends on how good of a princess you are.” he rubbed the tip down my chin and onto my chest, prodding my nipples through the sheer lace.
“What do you want with me, dragon?” I whimpered. “I’ll do anything you want as long as you don’t hurt me.”
Oz sucked air through his teeth as he watched me. He pressed his cock against my lips, which I opened, allowing him to rest upon my tongue and push towards my throat.
“Be a good princess for me,” he growled. His hand slid to the back of my head. “All dragon’s want is a good princess to keep their bed warm.”
I moaned against his shaft, suckling upon him as he pushed his hips back and forth gently into my mouth.
“Yes, that’s it,” Oz moaned. “All dragons know when a prince simply isn’t enough.” He pulled his cock out, now glossy and wet from my mouth. “And you, princess, could never be satisfied with a prince alone.”
I cleared my throat and caught my breath. “Wha-what makes you think that?”
A wicked little grin bloomed on his face. “Because of the way you suck this huge beast.” He stroked his cock slowly.
“Maybe I just have a big mouth.”
Oz reached down and held my chin. “I wonder what else on you is-” He stopped himself mid sentence and grimaced. “Let me try that again,” he said in his regular voice. “Sorry!”
I held back my snickering. “It’s okay.”
He rose back up and put on his best dragon face. “Now, let's see here, princess.” He ran his hands down my body, spreading my legs and cupped his hand over my mound. Right away he could tell how warm and wet I was.
“Yes, I can tell already.” He pulled aside the pink panties to reveal my soft, wet, lips. He licked his chops, moaning at the sight. “I know what you want princess.”
“No, you can’t,” I moaned dramatically.
He rubbed his thumb up and down my slit. “I can tell no mere prince could ever satisfy you. You need something much more…uh-” He couldn’t think of the word and was floundering. “A princess she needs uhm-”
“Something powerful?” I offered.
His eyes flicked up to me.
“Something big and hard…something uhm…dedicated. A prince has to be loyal to his kingdom. But…but a dragon is only ever loyal to his-”
“His treasure,” Oz growled.
I nodded. “Yes. Exactly.”
Oz rose up slightly, taking my tied wrists and moving them off the bed frame. “Princesses like you need dedication and attention.” He lowered my arms down. “You need to be pampered as well as punished,” he said with a smirk. “A little spanking here and there?” He teased.
I bit back a smile.
“But mostly,” he breathed as he grabbed my hips between his hands. “Mostly, princess-” he hesitated and I could feel his hands tightening and relaxing on my hips.
“Do dragons feel better than princes?” I managed to speak.
Oz licked hi schops again. “Oh yes, princess.” He began moving closer to towards me. “And they last longer too.” He leaned over top of me, looking down upon me. My heart pusled with so much more than excitement. I loved him so much, and I wanted him so badly.
I could see the tenderness in his eyes too. Beyond the role play, through the dragon, I could see my prince in there. “Dragons always make the princess cum first.”
“Is that what does it?” I murmured.
I felt him prod at me, his tip pressing its way inside. “Partly,” he panted. He then lowered himself down and whispered into my ear. “Mainly it’s because I love you.”
Despite my hands being tied, I lifted them and put them around his head to the back of his neck. “I love you too, big, mean dragon.”
“It’s Oz now,” he grunted as he moved in deeper.
I cried out as he entered me, going into pants and gasps as he wasted no time in moving his hips. His eyes bore down upon me, gentle but ferocious all at once. I loved the way his cool scales felt against my body too, it was one of my favorite parts of Oz.
He moved my bound arms off his neck then threw my legs up, he drove into me, making me feel him in the deepest parts of myself. I cried out and whimpered, biting on my lip as he stirred up an overwhelming pleasure inside me.
“You look so cute right now,” he growled. “That soft pink against your skin…it’s driving me wild.”
I lost my breath at his words just as much as his well placed movements. I gasped softly, tilting my head back as I felt slightly embarrassed.
“Look at me,” the dragon commanded.
I peered back up, taking my time as I knew as soon I gazed into those eyes he would strike me again.
“Don’t look away from me,” a mix of Oz and the dragon commanded. “Keep looking. Listen-” he panted. “Good princess. Keep those gorgeous eyes on me at all times. That’s it…fuck. I feel you squeezing around me.”
I wanted to look away or close my eyes, instead I kept myself focused on him and his body, his power, the pleasure he was giving me.
“That pink really suits you. Although-” he ran his hand down my chest. “I’ll have to fuck you naked too. You’re even more beautiful then.”
“Oz-” I gasped.
“Yes.” he parted my legs and lowered over me again, his hips somehow going harder than before. “That sweet body of yours responding to me…it’s wonderful.” He tugged down the bra just enough to see me nipple and he swirled his tongue around it.
I choked on a cry and Oz lifted his head again. “Cum for me,” he growled. “Oh yes. Cum for me.” His hand slipped around my throat and I swear that was just enough for everything inside me to begin firing. It wasn’t long before I was crying out his name and arching my back off the bed. Nor was it long for Oz either, his body bucked and trembled, thrusting hard and then stilling. The only sound left in the world was our heavy breathing filling that dragon’s lair.
Oz held me close, letting me rest my head on his arm. I could feel his heart pounding wildly in his chest and it made me smile.
“Mnh,” he grunted and rubbed my back. “That was good.”
I chuckled. “Good?”
“Best I can do right now,” he sighed and rolled over onto his back.
I moved my head onto his chest, resting it there and looking up at him, His eyes were closed and he looked content. “Thank you.”
His eyes fluttered open and he turned to look at me. “Huh? For what?”
“For one of the best years of my life.” I placed my hand upon his face, feeling the groove of his smooth scales on my fingertips.
“Yeah well, that didn’t happen alone there.” he sighed and it felt as though he was melting into the bed. “It was only good because the two of us did it together.”
“Still, you’ve made me so happy. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
“Have shit coffee everyday,” he said with a smirk.
I giggled.
“Probably would have to rely on second rate dildos and vibrators.” He sat up and rolled towards me as my laughter began to grow. “You would live, and maybe it would be a good life. But, I think I would be lost.” He dipped down and kissed me.
“I’d find you,” I murmured.
“Good thing we don’t have to worry about that.” Oz sat back up and stretched, joints and back popping. “Phew. I’m starving, you had food set out right?”
“That I did.” As Oz got up I rose from bed and began taking off the pale pink lingerie. Oz looked back, watching me with a gentle gaze. I caught him and he smiled, waving at me.
“You really do look good in that color,” he said. “You should try wearing it more.”
I touched my hair and ran my fingers through it. “Maybe I should dye my hair a nice pink.”
He looked me up and down. “Maybe you should.”
I smiled as I stood, putting on a comfy t-shirt before joining him in the kitchen. He was snacking already, popping food into his mouth then going back for that beer I opened for him earlier.
“By the way, how was that drink I made you today?” He asked.
“The raspberry coffee latte thingy?” I asked.
He smirked. “You’re getting good at figuring it out. But yeah, did you like it?”
I nodded. “It was really good. Creamy, dark, but that bright hint of raspberry.”
There was a smile on his lips that made me lean in closer to him. It was his giveaway for when he had done something. “What? Did you spit in it too?”
“Of course not!” He balked. “It’s something I’ve been toying with for a while. Making it while I figure you out.” He poked the center of my forehead.
I laughed and swatted his hand away. “Figure me out? What’s to figure out?”
His smirk grew. “I wanted to make a drink that was perfect for you. Like you said, dark, creamy-'' he waggled his brows suggestively. “And with a beautiful, bright note hidden in that depth.” He kissed me, tasting like beer and blueberries. “So I made that drink in your honor.”
I’m not sure why that touched me as deeply as it did. I almost burst into tears just like the first time we exchanged the ‘L’ word. “I’ve never had…anything made in my honor.”
“Now you do. Question is, what do I call it?” He chuckled. “Was thinking the Rocky Raspberry, or maybe the Princess Cup. Although that sounds too pornographic.”
I snorted and tried to hold my laugh back. “Yeah, that’s a bit too much.”
He sighed. “I think I like Rocky Raspberry,” he murmured. “Sounds clever when it actually isn’t,” he laughed.
I smiled up at him, enjoying his jovial way, even after what we did in the bedroom. “Is that why you tested out drinks on me all the time?”
“Not exactly, not until recently.” He kissed the top of my head. “I just like doing things for you, that’s all.” he was coming down to kiss me but I was suddenly struck with divine inspiration. I kissed him quickly nd dashed over to my computer, sitting down before it and eagerly waiting for the screen to come back on.
“What is it?” Oz huffed.
“Sorry! I just realized something! I’ll do this real quick, okay?” I began typing immediately.
Oz chuckled. “Rocky, my love, don’t worry about it.” He came up behind me and kissed the top of my head. “You work as much as you need. I’ll grab a shower and I’ll enjoying the sounds of your typing later.”
“Thank you,” I said, beaming up at him. “You really are my muse.”
He looked shy and embarrassed. “Ah, well,” he chuckled in place of talking. “Just glad I could help your art in some way.” he leaned down and we kissed again. I watched him go off to the bathroom and returned to work.
I hadn’t told him yet, but my latest story was about a princess and a dragon.
