You’ve been working with a research team on the ocean. Your teacher selected you and your group by hand to carry out his research for him while he healed in the hospital after a bought with illness. The place is huge and it opens right up on the ocean. When you aren’t carrying out his research projects or tending to labs and tests, you’re out on the ocean.
Your teacher talked often about the research he acquired here while working, going on and on about his adopted son Levi and how the two of them would go out beyond the reef and dive.
“Back when I was a young man, of course, I used to go much further, dive much deeper. I see in you the kind of excitement for preserving the ocean and the life there I once had,” he told you the day he selected you for the special team. “Just don’t get carried away like I did. It took Levi to make me realize sometimes working enough, not harder, is all you need.”
You’ve been keeping in touch with your teacher, sending him emails daily and keeping him up to date on what has been going on at the compound. You teammates often leave the diving missions to you and you’re more than happy to oblige. In fact, the real chore of it all is having to leave the water. Every dive gets harder to leave and your teammates have taken to calling you the mermaid of the team.
Recently, you’ve started to find things laying on the beach, not that you never have. It just seems to you more things have been washing up. More shells, bigger shells. Sponges from the reef, large chunks of coral, even bones. You’ve started quite the collection.
One day when you go out to simply take a swim you find a pearl in the sand. As you walk further you find another and another. Soon you realize the whole beach is scattered with dozens upon dozens of pearls. This wasn’t something that just ‘happened’ to wash up from the ocean. No, that was too impossible a probability to occur. Someone did this, perhaps even a something.
You collect the pearls, tucking them away in a bag that you hide between two stones. You then go back to the compound and you gather a few things. You leave at the beach a cheap bracelet you got at a tourist shop, a fork, and a toy ball filled with glitter and a light up mechanism. You leave them lying neatly on a stone away from the tide and water, but very visible if you were to come up from the ocean.
You go back home and return in the morning, finding that the things you left are gone but in their place is what looks like a stack of various shark teeth. You stare out into the ocean, your mind racing with the possibilities.
You decide to stay there, wondering if whatever has been leaving you the gifts will show themselves. As it grows dark and the sun is starting to sink into the water, you see bubbles on the horizon. They come closer and closer until something rises up on the surface. You see eyes glowing in the dim light, they scan the beach and then spot you sitting on the rock. They freeze then disappear back under the water.
You’re frozen still, unsure what to do. Whatever it was it was obviously not human. You slip off the rock and walk down onto the beach, stepping into the lapping waves. Something then comes out of the water and hurdles at you, you gasp and catch it.
It’s the ball you left as a gift. It’s lighting up in your hands, flashing pink and green and blue and red. You throw it back out into the water where it sits on the surface for a moment and is then yanked back down. It resurfaces and is tossed back to you. You run to catch it, nearly tripping. You toss it back out.
This continues on for a few more throws. You fall and land in the wet sand, the ball clutched in your hand. As you sit up to throw it back you see the bubbles coming towards you and then the eyes pop back up out of the water. You hold your breath, biting your cheek as they look at you and then slowly rise up out of the water.
You stare in awe, their skin is luminescent and shimmering. Flecked with deep blue and purple, they crawl up onto the beach and meet your eyes. The top half is humanoid shaped, but nothing about them looked human. Their eyes were wide set and large, the area where a nose would be was flat and smooth. Their mouth was shut, but the line ran across nearly from ear to ear. Their arms were long, and the hands were webbed. Their bottom half was the truly amazing part, it was nothing but a writhing mass of tentacles.
You look into their eyes and your heart begins to hammer wildly, not from fear, but from excitement. You smile at it and hold out the ball as it lights up. They take it and tilt their head at you.
“You aren’t running,” they murmur, their voice deep and husky.
“Why would I run?”
He touches his chest, “most humans have. Every time I’ve met one they run away screaming.”
“Is there a reason I should run away?” You ask, inching closer to him.
He looks at you, eyes darting around your face and his lips spread into a grin, showing the rows of sharp teeth. “Not for you. I was afraid you would run.”
You return the smile, “You know me?”
“I’ve been watching you,” he murmurs quietly as the waves wash over his tentacles. “I saw you dive and I was fascinated. I’ve never seen a human move in the water the way you do,” he looks down at the ball between his palms. “I waited for you, watching you dive and swim every time.”
“Is that why you left me the gifts?” You asked.
He nods, “I thought that maybe if I found interesting things, you’d wanna come back into the water and look for more.”
You giggle, “you should have just revealed yourself sooner,” you reply. “I would have come racing to the water had I know something like you was out there.”
He presses his mouth into a tight line. “I was afraid if I did that then I would never see you again.”
“I understand,” you reach out to touch then hesitate. “Is it ok?” You murmur.
He nods, moving closer so your palm cups his cheek. His skin is sticky and slimy but soft as well. The back of his head is slightly bulbous and squishy and you see the second set of eyes along the side. You slide your fingertips along his wide mouth, his lips parting slightly.
“You’re amazing,” you gasp as you meet his eyes again.
He leans in closer, his hand touching your cheek and then running his fingers through your long hair. He gasps softly as he touches your lips, pressing a finger against them then tugging gently.
“Soft,” he coos and you giggle.
You press a kiss to his cheek and he shudders, his expression wide and awed as if he had been struck with an epiphany. He asks for a kiss, again and again, each time a different location to see if it was the same.
“What about, here,” you tap his lips and he recoils slightly, tentacles raising up and guarding them.
“You’d do that here?” He asks.
“That’s usually the best place for a kiss,” you say. “Is there something wrong?”
He shrugs, “not really. It’s just usually my mouth is used for killing.” he opens his jaws, his mouth wide and large, nearly unhinging from his head as it gapes wide before you. There are rows of sharp teeth, and his tongue is long and purple inside.
“See,” he shuts his jaws and presses his lips tightly together. “It won’t feel good if I do it.” He runs his fingers along the line of his lips. “My mouth isn’t cute like yours.”
“I think it is.”
He frowns at you, his brow pinching as his eyes narrow. “I don’t believe you.”
You chuckle, “I’m serious. You have a beautiful smile.”
He stares at you in disbelief but lowers his hand away. “You don’t think it’s gross?” He asks. “I mean, I do a good bit of killing with this thing, you know.”
You smile and reach out, touching his cheek and running your thumb along his bottom lip. “I don’t know about all that, but” you place a soft kiss against his lip, feeling him pucker back to meet it.
He pulls back, thinking for a moment before inching in again and meeting your kiss. You press closer as his arms wrap around you and he pulls you to sit amongst his tentacles.
“Mm,” he pulls back. “Gross right?” His cheeks are glowing.
“Not at all,” you sigh, “I rather enjoyed it.”
He scoffs but smiles, kissing your cheek and neck. “It is fun. I never would’ve thought.”
Over the next few days, you spend most of your time with him. Between your work and the research, you’re almost always with him. He continues to ask for kisses and relishes in them. He’s always touching you, either with his hands or with his many tentacles.
He seems fascinated by your legs, but then again, you’re fascinated by his lower half as well. You’ve counted at least twenty of them. They spiral down and flare slightly. Some have suction cups while others have talons and claws as if for fighting.
He plays with your toes, often making you laugh as he tickles your feet. He rubs your legs and squeezes them, enjoying the plumpness of your thighs and hips the most.
“What’s between them?” He asks one day.
“Ah-” you flinch, pinching your legs together to stop him from going any further with his exploring. “Something uhm…” You blush, suddenly finding all your years of science and reason flying out the window.
“Something?” He tilts his head.
“Ah, well,” you lick your lips, your cheeks burning. “My genitals are there,” you answer, your words coming out slowly.
“But there isn’t anything there,” he scoffs.
You huff, “no! They aren’t…it goes inside.”
“Inside?” His eyes get wide.
You huff, “it’s kind of like a hole.”
“Oh,” he gasps and he nods, shying away a bit. “Sorry, is it embarrassing for you?”
You smile nervously, “no I mean…it shouldn’t be anything to be ashamed about. HUmans are just…really weird.”
“I bet your genitals are pretty,” he coos softly.
You feel the heat rise in your belly and you bite your lip. “No, I…I don’t think so.”
He inches in close, kissing your neck and pressing his chest against yours. You whimper slightly, feeling the heat grow the more he kisses and touches you.
“What are you-” you struggle until he kisses your lips, his long tongue slithering into your mouth.
“Let me make them feel beautiful,” he whispers to you and you shudder.
“Wait,” you whimper as he opens your thighs, holding them up he unties your bathing suit and stares in awe. “Oh…” a tentacle slides over your sex and you gasp. “It’s cute!” He remarks and inches closer.
“Don’t stare like that,” you try to put your hand over yourself but he pushes it away. He touches and strokes, making you wet as he explores.
“You’re getting slick,” he murmurs and licks his fingers.
“That’s embarrassing,” you gasp, clutching your hands over your face.
He pants for a moment, his finger lingering in his mouth. You try to wriggle free but he holds you fast and he kisses and licks your folds. You cry out at the sudden onslaught, watching his tongue push inside you, his sharp teeth nudging against your mound and belly.
“Please,” you whimper, your breath shuddering as he burrows deeper. You throw your head back, crying out as he presses against that sweet spot inside. Your body trembling and legs spasming until he pulls back.
“You taste good,” he snarls, licking his chops. “Why did you yell?”
You gulp down air, trying to catch your breath. You slowly sit up, swooning still in the afterglow. “It felt good,” you whisper. “You felt so good.”
He grins, “I made you feel good?”
You nod and kiss him.
“Can…can I do it again?” He asks shyly.
“I mean,” your heart hammers, “if you’d like to but…”
He kisses you lovingly, holding you tightly as he lifts you and has you loop your legs around his waist. You met his eyes with curiosity, wondering what he has planned. He kisses you neck and you feel a sharp pain there, you wince, feeling his tongue lap over the wound. His breathing becomes shallow, and he starts to grunt.
You gasp, feeling his tentacles against your folds, they slick and touch, one slowly pushes inside and pulls out, another taking its place.
You wrap your arms around him, “what’s happening?”
“I’m loving you,” he growls.
You whimper, feeling a tentacle press deep inside. It’s thick and your stretch to fit it all inside. He watches with his head down, staring as he disappears inside you and pulls back out, watching your cream coat his tendrils as he moves inside of you.
He grunts, licking your neck again where we bit. His hands groping your soft chest, kneading them like a kitten. You moan against his shoulder, bouncing as his tentacle thrusts harder inside you, shaking you. You’re close, feeling it build inside you, and just when it’s about to crest he pulls out.
“No-” you gasp. You see a wide, wicked grin spread across his face and you shiver.
Something moves into place, rubbing against your slit and coating itself in your cream. It feels big and rigid, soft little nubs rub pleasurably against you. You bite your lip, grinning excitedly to feel it inside.
“Can I?” He asks, his voice a soft whimper compared to his grin.
You nod, “please,” you beg slightly. “I want it.”
He presses a kiss to your lips, pushing inside you. You rise up, nearly howling as he thrusts this tentacle inside. It’s thick and hot, the nubs all around it making every movement its own pleasure. You squeeze around him and moan with abandon as he thrusts inside, moving slowly at first and gaining speed until soon you’re not sure where he begins and you end. He’s snarling and grunting, his hands firmly planted on the rock behind you.
You touch and kiss, petting his skin and licking over it. You kiss him, biting his lip and tugging on it as the heat inside grows, your belly quickening as it builds back to the edge again. You press close, your breasts smashed against his chest.
“I’m cumming,” you whisper to him, trembling and then baying like a wolf at the moon. Your body sent into ecstatic pleasure as the waves crash over you, making your eyes roll into the back of your head as he continues to plunge inside of you. He bucks and thrusts suddenly grunting and hissing you feel something release inside, gushing fast and then suddenly slowly and lazy. You wince, feel it dribble out.
He pants, kissing you as you both begin to cool and relax. You smile, tracing your finger down his neck and chest.
“Do you feel beautiful?” He asks, breathless from the effort.
You blush but nod, “yes…that was…life changing, to say the least.”
He kisses you again and he carries you into the water, holding you as he kisses and nuzzles more. The cold water feels good on your skin and you relax against his chest as he holds you as you float.
“You said you were loving me,” you murmur to him, looking up to view his expression.
He nodded, “isn’t it obvious?”
You smile and nuzzle to his neck, “I love you too.” You then touch your neck. “So why did you bite me?”
He looks away embarrassed, “I just…I wanted to know how you tasted and…the blood gets me excited.”
You huff, pinching his cheek, “Well, ask me neck time before you take a chunk out of me.”
“It wasn’t a chunk,” he grumbles, stroking your hair. “The old man was right.”
“Old man?” You frown.
He points back to the compound. “He sometimes stays there, where you are. He used to come more, but after he found that kid he started coming less and less. Last time he was here he said he had found someone he knew I would find interesting. I didn’t believe him.”
“The professor?” You gasp.
He nods, “he used to talk to me a lot. He found me sick and almost dead on the beach,” he looked back to the compound. “I live in your basement. No one seems to know I’m down there.”
“Basement?” You squawk. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
He shrugged, “you never asked.”
“Well, I’m asking now! What basement?”
He takes you by the hand and leads you around the rocks, he then guides you through a cave that comes out into a tank in the basement of the compound. He helps you out and shows you around.
“I usually stayed here with his son…what was his name?”
You pick up a picture featuring your professor and his granddaughter, “Levi?” You ask, seeing a picture next to it of a strange creature.
“Yeah that’s him,” he huffs. “The old man said I could stay, so here I am.”
You turn and look back at him, “Well, I hope you don’t mind the company.”
He smiles, “I prefer it,” his voice is soft as he takes you into his arms.
