You had been having nightmares before the storm hit. You dreamed of falling under the waves and reaching towards the surface as the light sliced through the water. You dreamed of wood cracking and snapping, or screams that were silenced and swallowed in the crests of raging water. It goes quiet, empty and alone you look up at the light that begins to sparkle and glow like stars. You reach out, wanting to find a hand to hold.
As the storm overtook, you felt a strange sense of calm. Your nightmares had told you what was coming, so when you began to sink you felt that there was no escape. You accepted it, letting the burning cold waters pull you under.
You woke from a dream, or at least it felt like it. You lift off a sandy beach and stare out over the still ocean. Your eyes widen as you breathe deeply and stand, realizing you are alive. You cheer and scream and grip sand between your fists. Running along the beach you search for any other survivors, but you find nothing.
Returning to where you woke you find several crates washed up on shore that contained ship supplies including bedding and canvas. You lay them out to dry and begin your search for survival.
You search for water first, hoping to find a source of fresh, as it grows dark you return to the beach, carrying dry wood to start a fire. You use the canvas to build a shelter and though the blankets are slightly damp they keep your warm in the night.
When you wake in the morning you find fruit piled on the beach. You start to wonder if someone is watching you and if you are really alone on the island. After eating you continue your search for fresh water, eventually happening upon a stream that leads you to a waterfall that cascades down into a deep pool that leads into a cave.
Happy and somewhat more relaxed knowing you have water you set out to figure out a constant source of food. You find fruit trees and several edible roots, but you try your hand at fishing. Fashioning a spear you go to the fresh water pool and try to fish along the bank there, but you find it is near impossible.
You collpased on the damp ground, exhausted and frustrated at your situation. You feel something against your foot and when you sit up you get hit in the face with a fish. You sputter and run as more fish get thrown up on shore at your feet. You stare, seeing where the fish come from. Whatever was trying to help you vanishes under the water, leaving you with several fish to eat.
You make a home near the freshwater pool, setting up a tent and bed and clearing a space for your fire. You still find fresh fruit near your home in the mornings, and whenever you attempt to fish you find they throw themselves at your feet.
One day while gathering some water you notice something floating on the surface close to the cave. It looked like a squid, maybe an octopus. It turns towards you and blinks, dipping back under the water when it realizes you’ve spotted it.
“Hey!” You gasp and look out over the water, hoping it’ll pop back up again. You think though you’ve perhaps seen your secret guardian.
In the morning you wake to hearing splashing in the water, opening your eyes you see someone walking into the water. They’re back broad and smooth, speckled with green and blue and black.
You gasp and sit up, but you cannot find your voice in time to call out to them as they vanish under the water. They’ve left you food again, but what you really want is some company.
When you’ve woken and eaten you step into the water and swim towards the cave behind the waterfall. You’ve been too scared up until this point to go near it, but now you need to know for yourself who has been caring for you.
You swim past the waterfall and into the cave, the waterfall echoing and humming against the walls. You swim deeper inside, seeing that the walls of the cave are covered with glowing gems and crystals that shimmer and shine as the water moves.
You come to a dead end, a small beach of black sand and stones. With a defeated huff you sit on the beach and catch your breath. The beach around you feels like you’re wrapped in the night sky. The glowing of the stones and the black sand remind you of your dream you had before the shipwreck. The dark glittering glow as you reach your hand out.
You begin to cry. The stress of your ordeals finally settling on your shoulders. Your sobs echo on the walls, the lapping of the water barely covering them as you scream in frustration and pain. Your tears spilling down your face hot and burning.
You hear a sort of clicking noise and you sniffle, rubbing your eyes to peer out and you see the strange tentacled creature again. It’s eyes glowing like the moon.
“Don’t go away,” you sob to it, more tears spilling. “I’m so scared…I’m so alone…do you understand me?” He crawl on the beach towards it. “Are you the one who has been helping me?”
It blinks at you and you sit back in the sand. You bring your knees to your face and you sob some more. You take a deep shuddering breath and you look back at it. “Will you stay? I just want a friend.”
It lifts up slightly, rising from the water and crawling up the beach towards you. Broad shoulders, speckled black and green and blue. Its webbed hand wrapped around your ankle and tugged your leg down as it slid up between your legs to meet your eyes. More of those clicking noises came from under the tentacles that dripped from under it’s eyes.
You gasp and fall back in the sand in surprise, you look up at him as his tentacles tickle all over your face and neck. He touches your arms and legs with his hands, inspecting them as if looking for something. His tentacles touch your tears and wiped them away.
It pulls you up and tilts his head. He spreads his palm and presses it to his chest then to yours. He takes your hand and repeats the motion. You smile softly at him, leaving your hand braced against his chest.
“Hello,” you giggle, a few tears slipping down your cheeks that his tentacles wipe away.
He smoothes your hair away from your face and caresses your cheek gently, his moon like eyes looking over you.
“I’m fine,” you say as you come to understand. “I’m not hurt.”
More clicking sounds and he nods, his shoulders visibly relaxing.
“You were worried about me,” you murmur. “Thank you,” you touch his cheek, petting along the fins on the side of his head and cheek.
He nuzzles into your palm and closes his eyes, his lid going sideways instead of up and down, you find it surprisingly cute.
He takes you back out of the cave and makes sure you get on land, covering you in a blanket before he dives back into the water, returning later with fish for you to eat that evening.
He still hides from you, delivering you fruit in the morning and ducking into the waters before popping back up to watch you eat. You talk to him as you light the fire and go about your day. His head bobbing along in the waters as he follows you about the pool.
He’ll follow you to the beach when you need to find drift wood or good stones. He swims with you as you relax in the pool or the ocean. You get a better look at him each day. His torso was strong and broad, thick like a good slab of stone. His lower half was all tentacles, thick and long, you sometimes wonder if they have no end. They go from blue to green to black. The tips covered in small suckers like the ones on his face.
He enjoys touching you, his small face tentacles cleaning your face after you eat or sweat. Sometimes during the night, you wake to find him touching you, checking on you and making sure you’re breathing and are covered.
He doesn’t speak, but he is better company than you’ve ever had before. His monstrous appearance no longer shocks you, and you can only describe him as gentle and loving. You have grown quite fond of him and your heart sometimes races when you see him.
One evening as you bathe, you catch him staring from inside the cave so you beckon him forth. You pull him from the water and guide his hands along your body, letting him touch your warm, soft skin. His hands eagerly explore, his tentacles tickling as he nuzzled against your stomach and ribs.
You sigh softly, the sound surprising him and making him recoil. You chuckle and bring him back, placing his hands back on your body.
“It felt nice,” you tell him, guiding his hand lower and between your soft thighs. His eyes widen as he feels against your heat and folds, his fingers slickening against you and he clicks away excitedly.
You moan, grasping his arms and burying your face in his neck. His curiosity feels so good. You then gasp, his tentacles lifting you out of the water and he opens your thighs, placing his head between them and you feel something new, his mouth.
It’s a smooth beak with a sharp end, but he gently nuzzles to your folds as he tentacles explore and taste you, his long tongue pushing inside and swelling inside. You moan again, panting as you feel him wriggle and turn inside. His tentacles opening you more and rubbing against your sensitive bud.
You cry out, your inner walls squeezing along his tongue as you cum. The release was needed and you suddenly feel as limp as wet paper. He lowers you down and you kiss him, petting his face and sighing softly to him.
He holds you and carries you into the cave, laying you on the black sanded beach. His tentacles caressing every inch of your body and raising you up on the black sand. You’re cradled and held lovingly, a tentacle pressing between your lips that you happily suckle.
His clicks become like purrs and you look to him, reaching for him to come to you. He sighs, pressing close and spreading your legs open more, his tentacles pushing inside and stuffing you fuller than his tongue.
You moan against him, your hips trembling as he moves inside you. His hands hold your thighs open and steady, his eyes watching intently as he penetrates you and stretches you open. His clicks grow more intense like he was singing some sort of song as he watched you.
You moan more, gasping and panting as he adds another tentacle inside you, thrusting hard inside before pulling out. You whimper in complaint but soon find something replacing them. It is harder than his tentacles, thicker too. It prods and rubs along your slit. You feel ridges along it, rubbing you pleasingly. You sigh, feeling him press it inside. You gasp and grip onto him, looking down to see it push inside. You then look into his eyes and he begins to move it, pushing harder and deeper inside you feel every bone rattle, but you don’t care. His touch otherwise is gentle and loving, his strong thrusts a sign of his own pleasure.
His tentacles wrap around you, touching every longing inch of your skin. You feel something pulse inside you and he throws his head back, a strange sort of cry echoing from his mouth. You cry out with him, your back arching and pulsing along him.
You feel him release inside, something thick and sticky that doesn’t seem to leave you as he pulls out the special tentacle. He sighs and swoons but keeps you aloft in his tentacles. You lay limp and satisfied in his grip, smiling. You look up at him and touch his face.
“Very good,” you coo.
His clicks sound excited and he nuzzles to you again. That’s when you feel it, another tentacle pressing inside. You cry out, feeling it inside you, his thrusts as eager and strong as before.
He has so many tentacles, you think to yourself, how long can this go on? But, if you were really honest with yourself, you didn’t care. He felt so good inside, and his touch was welcomed and needed. You wouldn’t mind a few more exciting rounds with this mighty Kraken.
