Fia the Selkie (rough draft)
🕑 Added 2022-09-03 20:00:03 +0000 UTCCrumpled bills and loose change were a pain in the ass to deal with, but you had never been so relieved to see them. You pulled them from inside the tip jar, smoothing out bills and leaving the coins for last. The cafe was closing up and the lights dimmed just as you folded up the last bill and stuffed them into your wallet.
Gigi, the manager of the cafe approached you as she shrugged on a jacket. “Hey, why don’t you go out with us tonight? We’re all piling up in Morgan’s van and going down to the Singing Shanty.”
You dumped the coins into your hand then shoved the mound into your pocket before any coin could dislodge and roll away. “Sorry, I can’t tonight.”
Her eyebrow cocked up high. “It’s the Singing Shanty on a thursday night, there is literally not going to be a soul there.”
You shook your head. “I wouldn’t mind getting a drink, but I really should be getting home. I’ve uh…” You hesitated to say the truth as you know it would bring another line of questioning.
Unfortunately, Gigi had known you since you were both kids and attended Black Forte Elementary. “What’s going on, dude? You’ve been a bit squirrely the past couple of weeks.”
“Aren’t I always squirrely?” You tried to laugh it off.
Gig’s jaw was firmly set and her brow was raised as she looked up at you. “You’ve been rushing home every night, and usually you head to the beach or something. You said you hated your apartment, so I don’t know why you’d be rushing home.” Her eyes widened and she gasped. “Unless-”
“Unless what?” You scoffed.
Gigi leaned in close. “You shaking up, dude?”
All you had to do was look at her and she knew.
“You’ve got a girlfriend?” She was awestruck. Which wasn’t wrong of her, you hadn’t dated much at all, and the last time you did was an embarrassingly long time ago. “Since when? Who is she?”
You hushed her as you saw some of the others start coming out from the back. “It’s new, and it’s not shaking up or anything. It’s just hard to explain.”
“She’s not an asshole is she?” Gigi then took on a pissed expression. “You better not be back together with Angela.”
“No!” You argued.
“Good, because if you were I’d be destroying a bitch.” Gigi turned as the rest of the staff gathered at the door, waiting for her to do the locking up. “I’m not done with you,” she said threateningly before turning away.
You sighed heavily. “I know.”
Along with the rest of the staff you filed out the door, going the opposite direction of them. You hike up your guitar case onto your shoulder as you walk down the sidewalk, rushing between street lamps. Your apartment wasn’t that far away, and as you rounded the corner you could already see the lights were on. You sighed heavily, steeling yourself for what you were going to walk in on.
As you reached the door you flinched and quickly reached into your jacket pocket, producing a ring. You slipped it back onto your ring finger and opened the door.
“Fia?” You called out. “I’m home!” You set your guitar case down and began removing change from your pocket and into the jug by the door.
“Welcome back, darling!” Fia stepped into the hallway with a bright smile on her face. “How was work?” She was wearing a t-shirt of yours and only that t-shirt.
Your face instantly went red as you spied her soft, supple thighs and you kept your eyes averted. “It was good. Got a lot of tips.”
Her bright green eyes sparkled. “That’s wonderful!” She approached you and wrapped her arms around you tight. Her body was so warm and soft all over. You leaned down, returning the hug and kissing the top of her head. Fia smiled so brightly.
“Come on.” She took hold of her hand. “I made dinner.”
You smiled anxiously. “Fia, you really didn’t have to do that. I could have ordered us something with the tips I got.”
“Nonsense! I went out today and got you something really good.” Fia smiled back at you and winked.
It wasn’t that you didn’t appreciate all of Fia’s efforts, it was that she wasn’t exactly the best cook. She’d only been attempting it since she came to live with you, and that was only a few weeks.
There wa sa slight burn smell as you walked into the kitchen, and she made you sit down at the table as she went back over the stove. She happily opened up a pot and an overwhelming fish smell replaced the scent of smoke.
“I got some good stuff today!” She brought the pot over to the table and showed you the contents of two large salmon.
You tried to smile gratefully. “That’s great, Fia. Really good.”
“Humans like salmon, right?” Fia looked concerned.
You looked the boiled salmon in the eyes then looked back at her, but your face expressed everything. Fia pulled back and pot and looked inside with a pout.
“I got it wrong again. Darn.” You placed the pot back onto the stove and covered it.
“It’s okay! Really-” You tried to find the right words to say. “Salmon is very good, maybe we can try and make something from what you’ve already got. Let me find a recipe.”
Fia was pouting as she looked at the pot. “No. We can order something. I’m sorry I keep getting it wrong.”
You lowered your phone and looked at her, seeing her staring down at her hands. You stood up from the table and put your hand on her shoulder. “You’ve been trying really hard, Fia. That’s what I appreciate the most.”
Fia sniffled. “I’m trying to be a good wife.”
“I know. But it’s new. You don’t have to get good all at once.”
Fia glanced back at you. “I just want to make you as happy as you made me,” she murmured. “When you gave me my coat, I knew you were my person.”
You put your arm around her and moved her away from the stove. “That doesn’t mean you have to push yourself.”
Fia tilted her head up to look at you. “I just want to make you happy.”
You kissed her forehead. “You do, in lots of other ways.”
Fia wrapped her arms around you, hiding her face against your chest. She took a few deep breaths then lifted her head, smiling again. “I’ll eat the fish, you order yourself something you like. Then we can still eat together!”
“You sure?”
She nodded. “We’ll eat a meal I made one day.”
“One day,” you said with a smile. As you turned away to order something, your smile vanished. You gazed at your reflection in the phone screen as a dark thought told you that day, when Fia would make a good meal, would never come.
The next day as you went into work, Gigi was waiting on you. She sat you down at a table and gave you the stink eye until you spoke.
“Her name is Fia,” your voice cracked from nerves.
“Where did you meet Fia?” She asked. “Online?”
You shook your head. “I met her on the beach.” You swallowed and cleared your throat. “She had uh…lost an article of clothing.”
Gigi’s brow raised.
“Her coat.”
Gigi’s mouth opened.
“Fia’s a selkie,” you finally admitted.
“Of course,” Gigi rubs her hands over her face. “You know better!”
You shrugged. “She was so grateful, but she ran off not long after I gave her the coat back.” You rubbed the back of your neck. “I figured that was the end of it. Figured I got lucky or something. But she showed up at my house a couple of days later. She had gotten us rings and she proposed to me.”
Gigi grimaced. “Dude, no.”
“I had just gotten back from having drinks, so I was a little tipsy and I was feeling really, really lonely.” You pouted at your past self. “When I woke up the next day, there was Fia. There was this whole new life.”
Gigi looked as though she had just solved a tough math problem. “Was that the day you kept throwing up?”
You nodded.
“Do I need to go have a few words with her?” Gigi huffed.
“No! Fia is sweet. She’s seriously the nicest person I’ve ever been with!” You were quick to defend. “She’s trying so hard, I don’t want to scare her and make her think I hate this.”
“You don’t?” Gigi asked.
You hesitated for a moment, brow pursed and eye focused down at your hand. You took the ring off before you went to work, just so nobody noticed it. But already you were starting to form a line on your finger where it was.
“No, I like Fia. I like her a lot. But-”
Gigi leaned in. “But?”
You pressed your lips into a firm line. “What if I fuck it all up? This is usually when everything goes wrong. I’m not good at this, I don’t know if I’m meant to be with someone. I don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t know how to keep Fia happy with forehead kisses forever. I couldn’t keep Angela happy, none of the times we were together. And Fia is so-”
Gigi took hold of your hand. “Angela was a piece of shit. She caused all that drama, not you.” She squeezed your hand. “It sounds like you really care for Fia, selkie or not.”
“I really like having her around. Even if I get nervous or terrified, it’s been nice going home to her.”
Gigi smiled. “Has she seen you perform? You need to bring her with you one night. I’d like to meet her.”
“I’ll have to get her some clothes,” you admitted shyly.
Gigi’s gentle touch turned painful and threatening. “What?”
“She’s been wearing mine!” You blurted quickly.
Gigi slowly began to let go. “Compared to me, what build is she?”
“About your height. Curvy. Soft.” Your face began to turn red as you pictured Fia. “Sh-she looks like most selkies do I guess.”
Gigi kept glaring at you. “You obviously find her attractive, that’s at least something.” She stood up from the table. “Go get set up. I have some of my chubby clothes just in case. They’ll probably fit your Fia. I’ll go get them before it gets too busy.”
“Really?” You gasped. “Thank you! That’s so nice!”
“You’re welcome. But, you have to promise to come and show her off one day. This isn’t a freebie.” She walked away and your guts churned nervously.
That night as you got home you put on your ring then walked in. “Fia? It’s me,” you called out, dumping change into the jug.
Fia didn’t respond.
You felt a tightness in your chest. A familiar cold fear that sank into your belly then spread out through all your limbs. The apartment was extremely quiet. There were no strange smells in the kitchen, and most of the lights were out.
You set the bag of clothes Gigi had given you on the kitchen table and stood there trying to keep yourself from panicking. You knew this was going to happen, you just hoped it wouldn’t this time. You sniffled and tried to keep that painful lump from welling up.
“It’s okay,” you told yourself. “It’s fine.” You wandered off towards your bedroom, keeping the lights off as you sat on the edge of the bed. The tears came and just as you felt your worst the bathroom door opened.
Fia stepped out wrapped in a towel and she turned on a light. “Oh!” She was startled upon seeing you. She then saw your tears and concern washed ove there.
“Darling! What’s the matter? Are you okay?” She rushed to you, wrapped her arms around you. “I didn’t hear you come in! I got in late front he beach and wanted to be all nice and clean for you.” She kissed your cheeks and forehead then brought your head down to her bosom.
“My poor baby! What’s making you cry so?” She nuzzled her cheek to the top of your head.
You sniffled from relief, holding tight onto Fia until the nauseous nerves passed. After a while, you lifted you head, placing a kiss upon Fia’s soft lips.
“Oh,” she giggled when you parted. “Is everything alright?”
You nodded. “Yeah. I’ll be okay. I’ve been dealing with a lot of anxiety lately.”
“You can tell me these things!” Fia fussed at you. “I want to know when you’re hurting. I can take care of that at least!”
You smiled affectionately down at her. “I’ll try harder. I just don’t want to be a burden to you.”
She nodded. “I don’t want to be one to you either. So, we both can work on that together.” She leaned in, taking another kiss. Her body felt so warm and so soft, you started feeling something else begin to stir.
Fia pulled back only slightly. “Are you hungry?”
“A little,” you admitted. “Are you?”
“A little,” she murmured. She hand stroked her palm down your chest. “But-” She stopped and bowed her head.
“But?” You chuckled. “Come on, if I can open up to you, you can open up to me.”
Fia glanced away shyly then looked back at you with her soft, green eyes. “Will you kiss me some more before we eat?”
You chuckled and cupped her cheek in your palm. “I’d like that too.”
“Good!” She excitedly went back for more, kissing you, moaning softly as she pressed closer and closer. Something more was stirring and building up.
But then your phone rang.
Fia sat up in surprise as you reached for it. Her eyes fell upon your lap as you answered the phone. “Hello? Oh, hi mom.”
Fia looked back at you with urgency. She got up and scurried away, knowing she couldn’t make any sounds while you talked to family. You were frustrated, but you knew if you talked to your parents they would send a little money your way.
Once that was done, you went into the kitchen where Fia had opened up the bag of clothes. She was holding up a dress to her body and had a very soft, sweet expression on her face.
“My friend Gigi sent those over for you.”
“They’re all so nice! Are they really for me?” Fia gasped.
Seeing her so excited made you warm from head to toe. “Yeah. It’s a start, and we can get you more bit by bit.”
Fia took off your shirt she was wearing and you turned away to not look. She put on the dress Gigi had sent and posed before you in it. The little black dress hugged to her curves and looked great on her pale, speckled skin.
“How do I look?”
Your gaze softened upon her, becoming lidded as you took in the shape of her body. “You’re beautiful.”
Fia’s cheeks flushed and she smiled brightly. “You think so?”
You nodded. “Yeah. You look great.”
She spun around, having the skirt of the dress flow out. She then approached you, standing on tiptoe to try and kiss you. You knelt down, meeting her kiss. The both of you giggled as she stepped back down.
“What should we eat?” She asked.
“Why don’t you go and try on your new clothes. See what you like.” You placed the bag in her arms. “I’ll make us something tonight.”
“You sure?” She pouted.
“I don’t mind.” You kissed her forehead. “Pick out something to wear tomorrow. I want you to come to the cafe with me.”
Fia’s eyes grew wide and she looked almost frightened. “Really?”
He nodded. “I want you to hear me play.”
She rushed off, and you weren’t sure if that was a good or bad thing. You went about starting something for dinner, making pasta out of what you had available.
After dinner you got a shower and as you stepped out Fia peered through the doorway. She watched you with a shy expression and red cheeks.
“I figured you’d be asleep,” you chuckled.
“I was going to but…” She stepped into the bathroom and came close to you. Her eyes lingered upon your bare chest then looked down at the towel around your waist. “I-” Her voice came out soft and timid.
“Is something wrong?” You asked, a nervous flutter built in your belly.
Fia’s gaze was smoldering as she looked back into your eyes. She stepped closer to you and tugged at the towel. “Don’t get dressed,” she whispered.
Your heart pounded through your ribs, growing faster and faster with each passing moment. “Wh-why?”
Fia kissed you softly and briefly. “I’ll show you.” She stripped off your shirt she was wearing then turned back and headed towards the bedroom.
You took a few deep breaths, gulping them down as you tried to calm yourself. You peered into the bedroom, seeing Fia had lit a few candles and was sitting on the bed waiting for you.
You stepped out, nervously leaving the towel behind as you did. Fia stood, grabbing your hand and leading you to the bed. She laid you down, kissing you and running her hands along your body.
“Fia-” You breathed.
“Darling, I want you so badly,” she whimpered between urgent kisses. “Please, can we do more than kiss?”
It was a daring question, but one that had been teetering on the edge of being asked. You nodded, meeting her eyes. “I’d like that.”
Fia’s kisses trailed from your lips and down your body. “I like how hairy my darling is,” she murmured against your skin. Her tongue darted over your hip and you shivered, losing your breath.
“Oh, darling,” Fia took hold of your cock in her hand. She stroked you slowly, breathing in excitement as she watched you grow stiffer and bigger.
You whimpered, throwing your head back against the pillows. It had been ages since someone else touched you there, weeks since you even touched yourself there. Fia’s warm breath washed over you and then her soft lips pressed against the glans.
“I was told humans weren’t impressive,” Fia murmured. “But darling, you’re lovely.” Her mouth wrapped around you, warm, wet and soft. She suckled you, moaning softly so the vibrations traveled up your spine.
You tried to focus on something else, to keep yourself distracted and to not ruin the mood Fia was working so hard on. Hard on, you laughed. You then cleared your mind, trying to think of songs, or, guitar cords. You needed new guitar strings. Fia’s mouth is so soft! No. Your cock is melting. Stop! Guitar strings, Fia’s lips, Fia’s breasts, Fia’s warm thighs!
You failed. Ages of nothing had made you weak.
Fia moaned softly, continuing to such until you felt soft against her tongue. She lifted up, licking her lips as she looked at you.
“I’m so sorry!” You said breathlessly. “I know it was fast! It’s bene a while, I’ll make it up to you.”
A smile crossed her lips. “I made you come.”
Your heart pounded all over again and you knew what you had to do. “Get on my face,” you said.
Fia’s eyes widened. “Darling?”
You smacked your cheek. “It’s only fair. Get on my face and don’t get off until you’re satisfied.”
Those green eyes sparkled. “But…darling, are you sure?”
You nodded. “I’m not afraid of those thighs. Do what you want to me.”
“Okay,” she said shyly. “But if it gets to be too much, darling, you can say so.” Her thighs straddled around your face and she slowly sat herself upon you. Warmth and wetness, just as you expected. Her mound was plump, just like the rest of her. She tasted like the ocean, but she felt even better. She made you come, the least you could do was pass on the favor.
Her thighs muffled her voice, but you could hear her whimpering and moaning. Her body trembled and her hips began to move. Once you added your fingers, her voice grew louder, her loins grew wetter. You wanted to please her, to show her you weren’t some schlub.
Her inner walls contracted around your fingers, her hips brought her down closer to you. She shivered and jerked, and her thighs tightened. After a moment she released and she shakily lifted herself from you. She flopped over onto the bed, she cheeks flushed and eyes hazy.
You sat up, wiping your face then curled up against her.
“Darling, that was so good,” she mewled.
You kissed her shoulder. “I’m glad.”
She smiled up at you. “I was happy just pleasing you,” she confessed.
“I wasn’t,” you murmured as you snuggled down. “I came so fast, it was embarrassing. I didn’t want to be a laughstock to the selkies.”
Fia kissed you lovingly. “I wouldn’t tell them that. But I will brag about this.”
You chuckled shyly. “Maybe tomorrow we can uhm…try again.”
“I’d like that.” She rested against you, sighing in contentment. “I can’t wait to see you perform again.”
You furrowed your brow. “Again?”
Fia sat up and nodded. “I used to see you on the beach.”
You sat beside her with a shocked expression. “You did? When?”
Fia smiled shyly. “You used to practice on the beach a lot. I spotted you one time while fishing, and I thought your voice was lovely.”
Your cheeks burned as she spoke.
“I hadn’t seen you in so long. Then, you handed me my coat that day.” Her smile was bright. “I was so happy it was you. My siren.”
Your heart was pounding. “You never told me this.”
“I was embarrassed,” she pouted. “I didn’t want you to think I was weird or something. But I loved hearing your sing.”
You kissed her and Fia giggled, she wrapped her arms tight around you and moaned. Her soft body pressed against you, mingled with her gentle moans began to stir you up again.
“Darling,” she whispered. “Can we-”
“Yes!” You answered without hesitation.
Fia had you down upon your back again, kissing you and grinding against you. She straddled your hips this time, rubbing her warm, wet loins against you. You reached out, touching her breasts and fondling them. Your fingers sunk into the soft flesh. She lowered down, pressing her nipples upon your lips.
“Oh, darling,” she moaned. “You make me feel so good.” She reached back, stroking your cock in her hand. “Get hard for me. I want you inside me so badly.”
Her words made you shiver. Where had she been hiding this? You moved your mouth to her other breast, moaning against her as the heat grew again.
“Darling, yes,” she breathed. “You’re getting so big.” She eased back slightly, her warm, wet channel taking you inside. You lost your breath, you lost all thought in your mind.
Fia rose up over you, placing her palms against your chest. “Oh darling, I feel you inside me at least.” She breathed deeply, wriggling her hips so you were snug in place. She was indescribable. You felt buried in heaven.
“Look at me,” Fia breathed. “Focus on me.” She began moving as your eyes locked. Her palms pressed against you as her hips rose and fell. Fia bit her lip, whining as she felt you deep inside her.
“Your cock feels so good, darling,” she breathed.
“Fuck, you feel amazing,” you panted.
She smiled seductively. “You’re so handsome right now. I’m so happy.”
“I’m the happy one. Fia…oh god, Fia don’t stop.”
Fia leaned down to kiss you, thrusting her hips back upon you. She sat up again, arching her back and placing her hands upon your thighs. She went a bit harder, gasping for breath as her thighs clapped against you.
You rolled your head back, growling and grunting, arching your hips to meet her thrusts with extra force. You wanted to last longer, to feel more of her wrapped around you. But this was so sweet, you feared another quick release, so you moved your hand and rubbed your finger into her clit.
“Darling!” Fia whimpered. She began moving harder, gasping for breath as her own pleasure grew.
“Come for me,” she mewled. “Come for me!”
It was hard to ignore her pleas, but you were trying to last for her. You kept rubbing her clit, going in circles then tapping it. Her body shivered and she bit down hard on her lips.
“I want to feel you inside me,” Fia panted. “Darling. H fuck, my darling.”
It was a hard fight, but she won. Your body gave into her charms, her warmth, and everything left you. Breath, pulse, thought, they all went to her. She shivered and jolted, remaining above you with a glowing smile upon her lips.
Fia snuggled against you murmuring softly as you held her close. You both fell asleep not long after that, and in the morning, well, Fia asked for more.
You walked into the cafe that evening holding Fia’s hand, both of you blushing and a bit giggly and shy.
Gigi walked up as you were showing Fia the stage. “Nice to meet you,” she said. “You must be Fia.”
Fia blushed and shook her hand. “Thank you for the clothes.”
“They suit you better than me,” Gigi chuckled. “So, are you excited to hear your boy play?”
Fia looked back at me as I set up. “It won’t be the first time. I was already quite the fan before we met.”
Your heart sputtered and you bit back a smile.
Gigi smirked. “That’s good to hear. Now, what do you like to drink? My treat, I’ll make you anything you’d like.”
“Oh uh…I’ve never had coffee before.” Fia followed along beside Gigi. “What do you recommend?”
You watched Fia as she walked with Gig, relieved to have someone you care about meet her. Fia then turns and waves at you, and you wave back. Your heart pounds with excitement and you can’t wait to sing just for her.
