Please Read! Changes to tier rewards!
🕑 Added 2022-03-31 23:09:52 +0000 UTCWe've reached an inflection point where changes in the scale of the projects has forced a re-examination of the Support Tier rewards. The current game- Company Man- is BIG in scale and memory-- a LOT bigger than previous games. This means better games based on more stable platforms, but there's also an accompanying big increase in bandwidth costs. Future games will follow this path as well. Consequently, I wanted to propose the following changes to the existing tiers (tks to Esclavage for guidance on all this). Here's what is proposed:
$1 - This tier gets you access to images of work in progress and a general progress update. You also get the 'General Release', which is the bug-tested Beta when it is ready.
$5 - The basic tier of Patron, the big benefit for those into Selectacorp games is a 30 day 'early access Beta' - the Beta will be sizeable content of several months of updates put into the game. You'll also get access to any fiction (novelization) or incidental projects in development (such as interactive, image or video content related to the game universe).
$10 - The same 'early access Beta' but we can put up a content poll in which we'll put forth ideas from the design doc & you can vote on what gets worked on. When it's 'done' then we put up a new poll for voting.
$20 - You'll get a once a month release of the game via download (whatever has been accomplished) - it's "as is" so it'll likely be buggy and have misspellings BUT you can play through, give feedback, etc, etc.
$35 - The above PLUS any kind of suggestion and/or storyline that you can put forth for a game will be taken seriously (& accommodated where it is logical)
$50 - The above PLUS early access to any commissioned material, such as vids or artwork used in a game project.
