Nightwing heard the somewhat screechy voice yell at him and he spun around to meet its owner.
This was not a meeting he was looking forward to.
The day had really been too much for him. Sure he had gone through some real strange adventures during his career as a hero, but dimension hopping and meeting other versions of yourself were always one of his least favorite.
"What do you want?" Nightwing asked the diminutive shadowy figure.
"Oh I just wanted to make an observation. You see, I couldn't help but notice that your team seems to listen to and respect you."
Nightwing rolled his eyes under his mask. "Yeah, I guess."
One moment he and his team were taking care of business like usual and then the next they found themselves summoned to some other dimension where they had to team up with other versions of themselves in order to defeat Trigon. And of course his team didn't ask any stupid questions, they went right to work on saving the day. Unlike this little nitwits team of titans. Every second there seemed to be a joke or an act of slapstick on the battlefield.
"Clearly you succeed at being a team leader by wearing such an awesome costume!" The voice said.
"Actually, I think it has more to do with being competent than wearing..."
"So I'm gonna take it!" The voice interrupted.
"Excuse me? You're going to what?"
Nightwing barely had time to blink before the shadowy figure produced a grapple gun and fired straight at Nightwing!
The grappling claw it produced at the end of a rope latched on to the front of his suit firmly.
"All right twerp! Enough of this idiocy! I think it's time you..."
YOINK!
With that sound Nightwing found himself completely naked save for his mask. He watched his ensemble flutter away as it was pulled back towards the silhouette.
"Yes!" The voice from the shadows screeched. "Now I will be the cool and dark Robin! I will have awesome and amazing adventures! Now to join my new super serious team of titans!"
With the stolen suit in hand, the shadow ran off.
Nightwing was still in shock.
"How....how was that possible?"
He looked down at his naked form and saw his own cock and balls still swaying from the force of his outfit being yanked off of him.
Truly this wasn't physically possible. His costume wasn't ripped off. No fabric was torn. One second his clothes were on him and the next they just weren't!
It was as if the laws of the universe didn't apply to the beings in this universe so long as it served a joke.
If the titans of this universe could figure out how to use that ability properly...well...that was a terrifying thought indeed.
Nightwing grabbed the lid off of a nearby garbage can to cover his nudity.
"All right you little shit! Get back here with my suit!”
The chase was on!
