the reason why FMAB is so fast at the beginning (I think it's for 8 episodes and then it's pacing gets' really good) is cause' they want to quickly get through all the manga content that was already adapted in the old FMA (before FMA decided to do it's own thing and ignore the source material) Just know there is a reason why it's listed as in the top 5 anime of all time, episode 8/9 onwards is peak

I think you guys would like 'Black Butler', that's my favorite anime, it has to be English Dub which is way more superior than sub. It's mystery, supernatural, horror, humor, etc. Has constant plot twists that actually make the show better (skip season 2 tho as season 2 is not cannon)

And it’s the fact the situation affects them the entire show, it was there for a reason lmao. I get not liking the pacing (also a reason for it writing wise) but dropping a show before 5-6 twenty minute episodes is crazy, especially one that’s known as one of the best anime, even up there with aot, that alone should get anyone to give it an actual chance (also controversial opinion: it’s not valid to call a show dogshit without having actually seen it)

in defense of fmab (if you dont like it thats fine) but with that episode with the dog and the girl, its not really about feeling a connection (though some people do) its more about "how could a father do this... why is the government allowing this until now? is it corrupt?" also the anime slows down ALOT after... well actually 6 episodes, it gets more story driven
