Not as gruesome and grimdark. Servitors are Lobotomized, loose 90% of their mental former self.... what ever survives the procedure and attempts to assert dominance back over its body causes it to become dysfunctional and "insane", something the Mechanicus would rather avoid with the materials and time spent in "building" it. This more reminds me of Raiden from the Metal Gear Franchise, or Adam Jensen from Deus Ex.
