Sweet reaction, especially the connection to your dad. I lost my dad about 4 years ago so I feel that. I think you are correct that Jenny had HIV/AIDS. I don't think there were any other novel deadly viruses in the 80s and her lifestyle certainly could have exposed her to HIV. I had no sync issue in the US. To my knowledge that problem only happens with European PAL format DVDs/Blu-Rays. Fortunately streaming services like Netflix are all good and work the same in all regions.

You are not the first creator whose reaction to Gump I watch, I'm from the 1989 year and I love this movie. I sorry for your loss, I lost my father overnight when I was 16 years old. Your mom's words that the movie is about 'the boy who ran' was funny :) So, I lit up some medical marijuana for my sore back after work, and I wanted to watch Forrest Gump, and since you seem like a nice person, I'm curious about your reaction so I'll watch it with you. It's a pity that full movies are only available under tier 3, because maybe I would stay longer. But I can pay for this one only for Forrest Gump. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your father. I also lost my father. He died when I was a child. I didn't know him too well, but I can remember him telling me stories at night. He was into story telling. He left a large collection of movies when he died. So like you, I've been watching movies as a hobby. For me, I guess I've been doing this hobby to find out what his interests were, so that I could get to know who he really was and what he was like. To this day, I've expanded my interest in storytelling to where, not only do I have a collection of movies, but also a library of books. Maybe someday I'll write my own stories too. I love your reaction videos. I'm always looking forward to the next one. Oh, and by the way, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is an actual place you can visit.

Excellent reaction and excellent movie. Great soundtrack. The most chilling line in the movie: "Dear God, make me a bird. So I could fly far. Far far away from here." I believe that Jenny did have AIDS (HIV). Meant death in 1982. Or maybe hepatitis C? On a brighter note, good news is I did not have to slow your stream to sync with my stream of the movie in the US.
