“I thought you wanted to rule the Nine Realms and become a queen?” Angela smirked, expecting Hela to put up a tough front.
To her surprise, Hela responded even more directly, openly admitting that she missed Alan.
“Too bad the king isn’t here. Even if I rule all Nine Realms, it’s boring without him.”
Hela had imagined conquering the Nine Realms as a gift for Alan, expecting him to be overjoyed.
Yet when she finally presented the Nine Realms to him, she didn’t see the ecstatic expression she had envisioned. As expected of the man she admired—he didn’t care about such things at all!
“Wait… Where are you going?” Angela’s eyes widened as she saw Hela wave her hand, summoning a spaceship beside her.
“I’m heading to Earth. I want to ask the Ancient One to do a fortune reading for me—to find out when Alan will come pick me up.”
Hela simply wanted an exact answer. She trusted the Ancient One’s abilities—determining an approximate date shouldn’t be an issue.
“Didn’t Alan specifically tell you to stay in Asgard for now?” Angela looked at Hela, utterly speechless at how deeply love had consumed her mind.
She had to remind her, “Emperor probably doesn’t like disobedient girls, Hela. Don’t be reckless.”
Just as Hela was about to take a step forward, she suddenly halted. Her eyes shifted as she began to reconsider Angela’s words—Alan had told her to stay put…
