I forced myself to go to our weekly coffee night even though I was EXHAUSTED, and THEN i gave myself permission to leave early after I got to see everyone and was still very tired. I'm very much pushing back against that self-isolation instinct, so it was a win all around.

I've been struggling emotionally quite a bit. I've been taking walks around a lake close to my house. It has been helping to clear my head. Getting to see all the critters that live there has helped too. I have also been painting! The painting has been surprising therapeutic too :)

Coming out of a many, many month-long major depressive episode, I've been stopping myself from jumping into the ingrained habits that contributed to it. I'm going slow, listening to my body and my heart, and prioritizing myself! Digging into all the things I love - making art, learning new skills, sex, reading, being outside as I go :) Also finished up my matching tattoo this past week and the 7 hours of sitting was totally worth the beautiful art on my hipdips!

I’ve stuck hard to my boundaries and prioritising myself despite knowing it means big life changes! I also worked up the courage to leave a degree I was nearly finished with but hating for a degree I thought I wasn’t good enough to do. Here’s to be entirely terrified and doing it anyway! 😅😅
