Me and the Moon
🕑 Added 2021-08-22 05:57:14 +0000 UTCI cried for 6 hours straight today. Sobbing, heaving, ugly crying. I cried more in one day than I have since the pandemic started and my life pulled apart.
It happens like that sometimes, when you have to be strong especially. When it’s your job to set the tone and help everyone through. But I was alone at Max’s place and it all came out.
And it hurts.
It has to hurt.
Growing pains and teething pains for the new life cutting through. I know that in my heart, but fuck does it have to hurt so bad?
I know the answer.
I count my blessings, I lick my wounds, I kiss the moon and whisper love poems and promises. She answers back.
