Happy Mama’s Day
🕑 Added 2021-05-10 03:20:40 +0000 UTCI had tea in bed alone this morning, and then made pancakes with the kids when they woke up. They made me a very cool whale-related card (we’ve been watching the new documentary series about whales together) and we hung out together, the first day in a while where nobody had work or school.
I’ve been thinking about my own mama, and how she taught me how to love. I’ve been thinking about how the mama’s I know in my life have a strength that I admire. Tenacity, relentlessness, tough as nails.
Cheers to those who mother and tend and care.
