One day yes. I just don’t have the time unfortunately. Even posts like this are squeezed in at the 11th hour. But I aspire to collect the things I’ve written over the years and put it together. My goal is to do so! One day my kids will be a little bigger and my life will be a little more settled. And you guys will be the first to know. 💕 and thanks for saying that.

I apologize if you’ve already written about this and I missed it, but have you considered writing a book? Your story, as you’ve told it over the years on Patreon/Tumblr, would be captivating in a longer form. And I imagine for a lot of people, helpful.

Oh, I totally get that feeling of "I should just be able to think myself out of EVERYTHING." Especially when I have days where my body and brain are trying to tell me something and the need comes through as not being able to concentrate on the things I "should" be doing enough to get started or make any progress. I'm working on it, and getting better, too. Yay for getting better. And also for having partners who remind us (sometimes quite forcefully!) that it's okay to have needs.

I resent all kinds of needs and feel I should just be able to think myself out of EVERYTHING. But it’s something I’ve been working on for a while, and I am getting better!

That sounds like quite a lot of work. And a thing I shall ponder at a bit, because I think I maybe have some of that too, though not from quite the same sources. It occurs to me that another thing that often (but not always) differentiates sex from many of the body-things that you resent is that it involves other people interacting with your body. I would guess that having Max or your bevy of lovely party babes or someone else you care about doing things that are about appreciating your body would do a lot to displace the resentment. There is so much healing in connection, and in being able to see ourselves through how others who care about us see us. (Also I wonder; do you resent your emotional needs too, or just your bodily needs? I find that it's often my emotional needs rather than bodily needs that slow me down, and that I do resent them for it sometimes.)
