Weekly Progress Report and Community Recolor 1, boots poll
🕑 Added 2024-06-25 03:24:57 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Sorry this one's a day late, been really tired the past few days and I woke up to a power outage today as well, so I had to wait for that to resolve before I could post anything.
The good news is, this past week was a solid step in the right direction again! I'm not where I want to be productivity-wise, but I did accomplish my main goal for this week, which was finishing the rewrite of all the major cutscenes! I still want to do some edit passes before sending them off to our voice actors, but we're very close to being able to do that now.
There's still some rewrite work to be done - specifically, I haven't updated all of the side conversations that occur during gameplay yet - but most of those are much shorter, and generally won't require nearly as much editing as the main cutscenes, so I'm not too worried about them. I plan to have the main cutscenes sent off to our VAs by the end of this week, and I plan on working on the script updates for some of those extra conversations as well.
In any case, I'm happy with how this week went (especially after the last few sucked hard), and I'm determined to keep the momentum going and do even better for this next week. Here's our daily updates for this last week:
Both Orex and I are focusing hard on the story rewrite, and everything that goes along with it; like I've said before, it's the last thing standing between us and making NEW content again, so even though it wasn't part of the plan for v0.48, I think most everyone will agree it's worth diverting our attention to focus more on that.
Next up, the recolor poll! We're so close to being done; now it's time for the last SFW poll, to decide the color of Alicia's boots! Here's the winners from the eye color poll:
