On Being A Free Lunch
🕑 Added 2019-02-12 01:43:40 +0000 UTCYou’re leaving me cold. You’re taking all of my honey, I’m left with the bitterness. I wonder why you can’t taste it. Your mouth is so full of me, I want to be your last supper, I want to fill you up.
You’re gone as soon as you’re satisfied, you push away from my table, you leave the dishes for someone else to clean up.
I sit with these hunger pangs, I ache for just a taste, a text, a sign. I need to be nourished. I can’t live on your memory, I can’t love an apparition. I need your hands on my belly, I need your teeth against the apple of my cheek. This doesn’t feed me.
