There is so much surrender in being buried under the snow. Everything’s still there, just covered and muffled, fluffy snowflakes against a baby blue sky. I hate being cold but I love how it feels when you come inside and it’s warm but your cheeks are still pink and numb. Frost-kissed and thawing. Perfect for a quiet Sunday.
New York was amazing and this week at home has been lovely too. (Including the coven date with my girl gang yesterday, we went to see a special screening of The Color Purple and then we took our tear-stained faces out for crepes and tea and talked about kissing.)
I have a handful of great shots from my weekend in Brooklyn, but I’m awaiting final okay’s from some of the folks in the photos before I post them here. In the mean time here’s a happy little bunny painting that Guy and Piper bought for me when they were in New Orleans. This bun’s travelled a long way to find a place in my little office.
