Three Square Meals Ch. 178 (Part 1)

I'm about half way through the chapter at the moment. Writing a debrief that focused on lessons learned instead of just being a rehash of everything that happened in the battles was trickier than I expected, especially for such a long-running campaign.
I'll keep working on the chapter next week, and will finish the second half for you soon.

On the flip side to consider, Tef's chapters are 40 to 60 pages overall. We've gotten used to them as his norm, but those are roughly twice the size of a typical chapter for most writers. Don't get me wrong - I don't like all the placeholders and the slow pace either. But the chapter lengths offset quite a bit of that for me. At least he's still writing. And that's cool.

If you get what you've asked for, Michael, at some point there won't be enough patrons to support him and then he'll stop writing altogether and find a real job.

Ah yes, complainers, right on time, .... I 'd wish they'd really just go, ... and then the comment section would be a lot less cluttered, ... but it is an awesome story so I can't blame them for sticking around, ... thank you Tef, almost a decade into this tale and it is still going strong, ... ;-
