Just a normal weekend for me.... wake up at 3am... check my phone ... "Oh Good, the new chapter is here". Get out of bed and fire up the computer and spend the next hour and a half working through Chapter 75. Sleep is for the weak!

each chapter a double whammy as a starting point.

Tefler has taken "Suspense" to dizzying heights.

Here I was hoping to wake up to a new chapter.... Dang Nabbit! Now what to do while I wait.... hmmmm.... read other comments? Done. Reread last chapter? Done. Reread Rule 34? Done. Dang! I'm running out of things to do!!!

Tefler, waiting on you to advise us when you get the edits back and tell us when you can reasonably release the new chapter - today, tomorrow, so on. Hope it helps with the noise level here, LOL!

Tefler is probably working on a side story about human torture, split personality and addiction withdrawal and is using us as test subjects.

Jesse, It's always on the brink of coming out, and then Tefler releases the next chapter and things calm somewhat. I have thought to myself repeatedly of rationing my reading of the latest chapter each time they release so I can make it to the next a bit more intact but I gave up. I really don't have that kind of self control.

so i wonder just how many more chapters its going to take before we all also develop a crazy

Just got the new Harry Potter book but I can't start it until I have read chapter 75 because I wont be able to concentrate.

Oh, speaking of Maelnerak... when he getting ready to crack open the uprated Neanderthals, did it strike anyone else how Ming-like he was? "Klytus, I'm bored. What plaything can you offer me today."

As much as I'm looking forward to the new chapter, and as it is likely I'll be strung up for being a wet blanket.... unless his editor is Faye, they may have taken the weekend off and won't be getting to the last part until Monday, sometime.... just a thought... a dark, evil, Progenitor-style thought, but still...

Personally don't think that's a good idea. It's extremely tempting, but we need to beware the observer effect. Artists need space and privacy to do their best work, and that would start to encroach on that space alas.

A person can hope, right? Since I just started my work shift, I was hoping to have the new chapter to read instead of twiddling my thumbs all night. Besides, I just checked the time in London. It's almost 3 am there, so I'm betting Tef's long since in bed already. Unless his editor replied in the last two hours and Tefler's gotten absorbed by the editing work.

@tefler This is something you are perfectly in your right to adamantly refuse. Would you consider creating a donation level which allowed us to be CCed in with the editing and drafting process? Not for assisting you in your writing but purely to access the story and its creation progress sooner.

Pff's at JK, we all need to sleep, better to wait a day than burn out stressing... remember Tefler is an artist who happens to be wonderfuly prolific and giving of his time to us for updates. Art will always be art and it will ebb and flow. :) Rest well and know your well thought of Tefler :)

I'm just working on part 3 now, but I'm still awaiting editor feedback. I'll post it sometime tomorrow (Sunday) I suspect.

So, Tef.... u asleep? should we give up on an update today? We'll stop refreshing thats only why I'm asking. no pressure

You guys underestimate Tefler's dedication to his craft: his posts suggest he frequently stays up until 2am working on 3SM. The real question is whether the final editor will come through in time...

Yes he is and the West coast of the US is 8 hours behind the UK. It is presently 1300 PDT and 2100 in the UK. If you are in New Zealand then it 0900 4/9/17

I've edited the first two parts, and have done the first pass of part 3. I need to add in a couple of scenes, and I'm waiting for one of my editor's notes, so it will either be late tonight, or tomorrow when I'm done. :-)

Tefler screwed with my expectations when he posted ch74 only 8 days after ch73

It's now been 10 days and 55 minutes since chapter 74 was posted. I can now say I'm slowly wasting away with anticipation.

I suppose the reason why you haven't posted part 1 yet as a teaser is because it ends on a bitch of a cliffhanger and you don't want to be the focus of our indignant rage, however righteous it might be?

Love to hear that the chapters almost ready tefler! Though I must warn you I'm quite fond of the story and would it's to see it ever end. Glad to hear there's going to be a sequel though.

I'm glad you guys are looking forward to it! I've edited part 1 and 2, and I'll look at part 3 before I go to bed tonight. I'm awaiting editor feedback on that one, so it might be late tomorrow when it's done.

And we've dropped to $1424 per chapter for some reason. Still at 850 patrons, which makes our per patron average $1.67. At the current average, we will need 898 patrons to reach the $1500 goal. Hey, Morningfrost, if you're around, what's the betting pool look like so far?

Tefler, congratulations on reaching 850 patrons for $1445 for the first chapter per month! Only $55 to go before you achieve the start of your stated goal of $1500 per chapter!

I suspect that after the new chapter is released, if Tefler holds off on releasing it to the general public for at least a week, we'll see the numbers bounce higher, especially if everyone likes the new chapter as much as I think that they will!

Thanks for the update Tefler! Now I have something to look forward to. It's been a long and anoxious wait!

Yes that happens every month but after a few days they are reprocessed but we've been on $1400 for ages now in previous weeks the amount rocketed upwards but not now I'm not sure it's because of refused cards this time I think it's just tormenting us lol

Tef, you are one annoying tease, you know that? Giving us little progress updates every day or two, and then saying things like "oops, went a little bonkers and wrote more than planned! Almost done though!" Seriously, man! If you're that close to finishing, stop teasing us and just finish it already! The sooner you finish, the sooner Crazy calms the frack down! He's driving me bloody goram nuts over here!
