Only reason there’s so many flashbacks and explanations is cause every sorcerer’s abilities tie into thier story and lore and later on if u don’t know the info it gets super confusing

This is not confirmed information but, I believe that the explanation for the things that happened and are obvious is because of how animes are adapted from manga, manga’s have panels of images in them which makes it hard for the reader to fully grasp what is going on hence the explanation. It’s a problem with manga adaptations that not all studios focus on.
