7:44 just to educate some of y’all. The animation staff is between 10-12 people tops, they are given a very tough schedule to work with while having to follow American labor laws. They can’t work wild hours like animation studios can, anime staff ranges between 45-80 people which is why anime can look as good as they do following a weekly schedule. To put things into perspective for anyone that sees this. The Boys gets roughly $11.2-$12.5 million dollars per episode. Meanwhile invincible has received budget cuts every season with season 3 having the smallest budget of $1.6-$2.5 million per episode. Which is very tiny. People complained about this season saying it’s “ass” but the story is great and it isn’t like the animation is completely terrible. As someone that is a aspiring animator and artist, animating a 15 second sequence took me ALONE damn near 3 weeks to do being that I was color correcting and having to make sure every in between frame was correct and clean. Put that into perspective when for the first season they had 5 and a half years for production, season 2 had 3 years and season 3 had barely a year. Let that sink in. Not only are animators having to animate on stressful schedule, but they have to animate lip flaps, facial expressions, body language, environmental physics, etc. while still having to color render, color correct, frame correct, and so much more.

I wouldn't exactly say that. Theres a chance he wouldnt like the change of vibe but season 2 is a masterpiece and I don't think dontai only likes action and I think he would really like. Season 2 matches or is my favourite even but it does depend on the watcher for sure.
