The reason it's important for drills to be so hostile is because it either weeds out the people that can't handle a little bit of stress, or it gets people used to being in that kind of chaotic environment. Once they're done with their basic and job training, and they get to their units, us NCOs are more chill but still require a standard of discipline for obvious reasons. basically as long as u don't play stupid games, we don't play stupid games lol
