I love the small detail that Nao's eyes visibly widen when he's talking to/with Souta. Around others, his eyes are narrower and a bit sullen, but when he's with Souta or even thinking about him, his eyes are wider and full of life!

I can see where you're coming from. I guess why I don't wanna be too hard on Nao is because socializing in general is overwhelming and confusing. It’s hard to give everyone the same amount of attention all the time, even if you're trying your best. Plus Nao isn't a perfect person, no one is, he's still trying to include Souta, he might just not know how. Balancing social interactions really is a mind f*ck. That's just how I'm interpreting things anyway😅 Either way your feelings are valid👍

For me though it’s not the love interest or romantic feels that bothers me. Even if I put that aside Souta was still ignored as a friend or as a person. So that’s why I’m being hard on Nao. I’ll acknowledge that Nao made attempts to include Souta, but to me those attempts were rather poor.
