You should interact with the 'Cule by using the little magnifying glass interaction button while wearing the glasses and they do cute little animations! Most of them anyway. You get a cute little dialogue from them!

Not sure if you're still doing these, and I haven't played the game myself, but if you speak to Washford again, can you get him and Drysdale together? Last time you spoke to Washford you became friends, and the last thing Drysdale wanted from you was to speak to Washford, so that might still be a possibility? I'm not sure, but I think it's worth a try?
