I didn’t hate the Dark Swan arc. It was annoying at times absolutely but it held a lot of moments that genuinely made me emotional. I’m not going to give context because that would be spoiling things but there is a scene that STILL gets me. Emma yelling “I am not nothing! I have NEVER been nothing!” Gives me chills and makes me tear up every time. IMO it is one of the most impactful moments of her character growth in the whole show. I could write an essay on it I’m not even joking. 😂 So because of that the Camelot arc holds a special place to me. The Underworld plot line can fuck RIGHT off though lol. Cool concept HORRIBLE execution IMO.

Boss, I'm so sorry, but I didn't hate the Dark Swan arc! I thought it had a lot of angst and even though I don't care for Hook's part in it, Emma being the Dark One? Juicy and tantalizing. The way it impacts her relationship with Regina is so engaging to me, I will forgive it all of its sins.

I genuinely remember the bloopers from the Dark Swan and Camelot arc of season 5 better than the actual episodes. Specifically the blooper of Captain Hook saying, "Don't touch it, it could have a protection charms..." and Robin responding with "I think you've got your singulars and your plurals mixed up there!"

Season 5 was genuinely the closest I got to dropping the show when watching past season 3a for the first time recently. by far both parts of it are my absolute least favorite of the whole show. I considered rewatching the season to remember what happens before this video but I just couldn't I was so fucking bored.

Reporting for duty ma'am! What can I answer for? I thought it was fumbled a bit but overall the arc was brilliant. Emma being dark was teased last season, but so whas her magical might. She was said to be strong enough to challenge Zelena and Rumple with just her light magic. With the knowledge and boost granted by the Darkness, this was set to be BIBLICAL in punishments. Was I mad at Killian? Fuck yes. Was I like "EMMA SWAN YOU KNOW BETTER" Like six times? Oh fuck yes. But did I also love the bitch stealing a tear from Henry? Yes, yes I did. Do I like this little lady Henry got with more than the nonsense in the noncanon (to me) final season? Also YES. the pumkins with the horse is just so cute. And THE OUTFITS. Regina SLAYED in that red dress. EMMA was gorgeous in those robes. And a corrupt Camelot? A broken kingdom? Loved it! Merlin was a let down, and so was the whole hell season. But the ending of this, Emma headed to hell, was fucking awesome. Plus nimue was a cool concept!

Honestly I've been binging the show to get ready for this, and I've been enjoying season 5 a LOT. Obviously some of it may just be that it's my first season I'm watching blind, but while the dark swan arc had some ups and downs I found myself loving way too much to dislike it (Emma looking like James Marsters the whole arc truly never got old to me), and the underworld arc has been very intriguing so far (haven't finished it yet). Overall SO EXCITED for this video, there were so many times watching this season when me and my friend were like "I seriously can't wait to see how Haley describes that part"
