Struggling With Recording (Next month will be back to normal!)
🕑 Added 2023-09-29 14:19:18 +0000 UTCHey guys! I just wanted to have a little bit of transparency when it came from a lack of uploads on both YouTube and Patreon. THERE'S A TLDR: IF YOU DON'T WANNA READ A MASS OF TEXT AT THE BOTTOM!
Lately I've been finding a heavy lack of both motivation and confidence when it comes to recording. It has always been really easy for me to record once the record button is pressed, but always been anxiety inducing getting to that step of recording. It doesn't help that I feel like every time I DO want to record, I'm either in the loudest house known to man, or asleep and in bed.
Something I've been struggling with is the fact that my room is directly against my house's AC unit with a gigantic AC vent, which I'm sure all of you hear during the ASMR livestreams, and being located in Florida (one of the hottest places in the US) the AC is almost constantly on. But one thing I've realized is that one room in my house, is completely silent, even while the AC is on, but it is nowhere near my computer. So for months now I've been debating on buying a laptop that is fanless, but those go up to 1,000$+ for a decent one.
I can't blame everything on my surroundings though, because I've also just been struggling to record in general, and I shouldn't find excuses for my own faults. Especially since you all choose to financially support me, and continue to despite the lack of content lately. I'm planning on doubling down and just buying that laptop, so I can give you the content that you deserve, and hopefully in this new environment to record in, I'll be able to pump out content and get back to the heights I used to achieve.
The BARE minimum should at least be one patreon exclusive a week, and that is something I am going to make SURE I do, even if its something as simple as ear licking. I can't thank you enough for sticking with me despite this drought of content, and how much I appreciate it. Consider this last month a small break to get back my ASMR juices into my body, and expect to see the usual consistency and content you deserve.
Sorry for this long blob of text, I just wanted to vocalize my thoughts into text, be transparent with you guys, and just give you an explanation I feel like my precious fluffle deserves. Of course, the high tiers will still be getting their personal exclusive audios for this month, and maybe I can do a few extra exclusives throughout this next month to make up for the lack of content this month.
TLDR: AC is too loud, my sleep schedule has been wonky, and I'm a big dork who needed a break from recording, SO I'm gonna be buying a laptop which in turn will make it so I'll have literally no excuses when it comes to making the ASMR you deserve. THANK YOU for supporting me, even through these rough times, and I apologize for the seeming drought of content. I appreciate the heck out of you!

Ngl, never minded the AC. But I appreciate the dedication to quality and consistency which you are pushing yourself to achieve! Best of luck with the plans regarding new equipment and planning.
