Danny didn’t know what was going on with him, but he tried to keep a cool head. Obviously he had to work harder on staying disciplined with his diet. The weight gain was likely altering his hormones. Maybe he should consider seeing his doctor and having his testosterone prescription adjusted.
That weekend, Danny went to the gym to get some cardio and clear his head. He spent much of his time on an elliptical machine, allowing his mind to wander as his legs raced. He had to make sure not to blow this out of proportion. Yes, his weight was getting insane, but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world. Hell, chubby was in these days. Which wasn’t to say he wouldn’t get back into shape. Because he would.
He had made a habit of bounding his chest daily, though it was really uncomfortable, and it didn’t disguise his breast growth, it just muted it a little. Colleagues who hadn’t realized he was transgender were often giving him looks of realization when they sighted him these days. Between the breast growth, widening of his hips, and his newly plump backside, the truth was evident.
Not that it had ever been a secret. Danny had never hidden who he was.
At present, he was wearing sweatpants and a baggy T-shirt with a windbreaker thrown over his shoulders. He was hot and sweaty, but he just pushed through it. All he focused on was his movements and his heart rate as his music blasted in his earphones.
Danny liked the gym especially because everyone was focused on their own workouts. No one looked, or judged, or speculated about each other. They just exercised.
Ironically enough, at that moment, another patron caught Danny’s eye.
A man was running on a treadmill slightly ahead and adjacent to Danny. The guy was tall, and he wasn’t bulky, but his body was lined with lean muscle. He was sweating buckets, and while still jogging, he pulled his shirt — not entirely off — but high enough to cool down a bit. Danny caught a glimpse of his pelvic bone and he nearly tripped.
Danny stopped his machine, gasping for breath. He folded his arms over his torso, not sure why his breasts were tingling or his nipples were aching. But god damn, that guy was hot. Danny’s loins were wet and warm, his knees weak from the sheer onslaught of desire. Climbing off the elliptical, Danny hurried into the locker rooms. He didn’t know what had come over him, he just stumbled over to his locker, gripped the lock, and stared off, feeling stunned. He didn’t know why, but he wanted to be filled. He wanted to be under that guy. He wanted —
His stomach clenched. Danny groaned, folding his arm over it. Opening his locker, he pulled out his bottle of weight loss supplement, and popped several. At least five or six. It always managed to take the edge off, which was something Danny needed at that moment. He drew in a long, deep breath, trying to gather his composure.
The heat was climbing. He didn’t know why, but he felt suffocated. He pulled at his shirt collar, his skin flushed and burning. He finally caved and shrugged off his jacket.
“Excuse me miss, this is the men’s locker room,” said someone informatively.
Danny’s jaw clenched. He looked up at the guy; just some random patron who didn’t know how to mind his own fucking business. “I am a man,” said Danny as calmly as he could.
The guy looked aghast. He stammered, “Oh. M-my mistake.”
Danny felt overwhelmed and dizzy from all his conflicting feelings. As irritated as he was, he didn’t want to get into an argument. He didn’t have the energy. So he grabbed his bag and stormed off, all while the heat continued to climb, with it, a throbbing sensation. It was familiar. He had felt it at that café, during his date last week. He looked down at his chest to see it stretching the T-shirt that had fit loosely over the mounds earlier that evening. “What the hell,” Danny breathed, as he leaned out his car and tried to gather his composure.
He was growing.
The bandages were squeezing him now. He dug his hand into his shirt, pulling them apart as he groaned and arched, pushing his chest out as it visibly swelled. D’s had become Es, then FFs in just seconds. “Fuhhhh…” he moaned as they continued to inch out, getting fuller and rounder, bobbing on his chest. He cupped them with his hands. What on earth was happening?
“Danny?” someone said.
Danny looked up, and was surprised to see one of his friends from his old job. “P-Peter,” Danny stammered in mortification, fruitlessly trying to fold his arms over his breasts, but it wasn’t nearly casual.
“Wow, you’ve…really changed,” Peter said as he stared indulgently, from Danny’s hips, to his thighs, over his generalized chubby appearance, and finally to his tight shirt and bulging chest. “Not in a bad way,” he added teasingly, his eyes doing another lap over Danny’s body. Finally, he looked at Danny’s blushing face. “How have you been?”
Danny fidgeted. “Just…great.”
