The weight gain was getting worse.
It was like the more Danny worked out, the fatter he got. And frankly, he was exhausted.
Maybe it would have been easier if it was just generalized weight gain. But the pounds seemed to go directly to awkward places like his hips, backside, and worst of all, his chest.
The hills there were already up to B-cups, but Danny did his best to disguise them through a variety of fitted tank tops, and even athletic tape at one point. But it was difficult and uncomfortable, mainly because his breasts seemed sort of swollen. They were rounder than breasts should have been, with less pliability, instead uncomfortably full and bloated.
Danny tried to stay calm. Once he got the weight-gain under control, he would consult with a physician. He was sure he could undo this through dieting alone, but was willing to consider surgery if he had to. In the end, this was nothing more than he could handle.
Still, it was rather disturbing to feel as though his body was regressing from all the effort he had put into it. Though he was post-transition, he felt more feminine than he had ever felt in his life.
That evening, Danny stood in his full-length mirror. He was dressed in a new blazer he had just bought that morning. It was a couple sizes up from his norm, but at least it fit him. The material fell loose over his changing body, the mounds on his chest bound in athletic bandages again, making a gentle curve in his button-down shirt. Maybe they could even pass as pecs.
Danny had a date that afternoon. Despite his ongoing tribulations, he was determined not to become a hermit, as he had been in the past, pre-transition. That part of his life had been spent very shy and withdrawn, and he didn’t want to go back to that. He wanted to be the outgoing, confident trans man that he proudly flaunted himself to be. So he adjusted his collar one more time, drew a deep breath, and left his apartment.
Only minutes later, he met up with a girl named Kathleen at a café on the corner. She was also local. Danny had found her on a dating app that matched people based on physical proximity. Some people used it as a hookup app, but Danny preferred to meet people over coffee and ensure that they had no issue with his being transgender. He always tried to be honest, after all.
Danny was pansexual, though he leaned more towards women these days. Perhaps this just went with his new gender. He’d always been a sucker for those classical romances; the chivalrous man and the beautiful damsel.
Kathleen was lovely, the two of them conversing for a full hour over coffee and pastries. But Danny could not deny that he was starting to sweat, and he felt a sense of edginess coming on. “Can you excuse me for just a minute,” he said, before getting up and going to the bathroom.
Danny stood in the mirror and ran the water. The bandages around his chest just felt so tight at that moment. He was jittery and a little breathless. Unthinkingly, he reached into his pocket and pulled out the bottle of pills. He seemed to carry his diet supplement around with him all the time now, sort of like a security blanket. It just had a calming effect. He popped two of them, heaved a sigh, then splashed his face with some cool water.
He went back to the table where Kathleen was waiting, and as much as he enjoyed talking to her, there wasn’t much of a spark.
“We should do this again,” Kathleen said.
“Erm, right, well, there’s something you should know about me…” Danny started.
Behind Kathleen, a young man was having an argument with one of the baristas by the register.
“No shirt, no shoes, no service,” the barista snapped, pointing at a sign which said just that.
It was a beach town, so it was no surprise that someone had come in wearing nothing but flip-flops and a pair of swim trunks. Danny couldn’t help staring at the man’s muscled torso, as Danny licked his lips, and the bandages tightened even more.
“Ngghhh…” It was getting uncomfortable, and Danny’s face was getting hot. “I’m s-sorry, you’ll have to excuse me for another second,” he stammered, before getting up again and hurrying back to the restroom, Kathleen’s face twisting in confusion.
By then it felt as though the bandages were strangling him. Danny closed and locked the bathroom door, his fingers fumbling with his shirt buttons. Growing impatient, he ripped it open, whining out, and feeling dizzy from the sheer tightness of the binds. He desperately pulled them apart, allowing them to uncoil as he gasped. Then he stared down in horror at the mounds gently wobbling on his chest. They must have surged up to C-cups just over lunch, nipples swollen and hard, flesh tingling. Danny staggered to the mirror and stared at his reflection. “What the hell is happening to me?” he muttered, cupping his mounds. He couldn’t help observing how broad his hips looked even in the new jeans he was wearing, or how plump his backside was as he turned to view his profile.
His mind drifted back to the shirtless man by the register, the guy’s muscles rippling as he gesticulated and argued. Sweat trickled down Danny’s forehead. He groaned and gripped the edge of the sink, his breasts heaving and tightening, swelling right before his eyes, his nipples stiff and aching. D-cups. “Ohhhh…” And despite everything else, it felt kind of nice.
