Rachel didn’t know how she could be hungry at a time like this, and yet she was. She wasn’t sure if it was caused by the remote, or just the demands of her now-triplets pregnancy, but her stomach was grumbling and she desperately wanted to eat something.
Even despite her fatigue, and her heavy, overwhelmed state, Rachel somehow managed to aim herself for the classroom door as she waddled back out into the hallway. She started aimlessly at first, then considered going to the vending machine by the library, only to remember that all the chips and chocolate bars had been replaced with apples and yogurts in recent weeks. Rachel herself had been on the student council campaign to do away with the junk in the vending machines, and she found herself cringing at the memory.
“Nghhhh…” She rubbed her hands over her bare swell. It was so full and packed, so heavy and tight. She just wanted to find somewhere to curl up and get off her feet, yet her hunger drove her to keep walking. It was taking priority.
It was still the middle of second period, so there weren’t a lot of students or staff members about in the hallway. The few who did pass just gaped to her as she practically staggered, breathing heavily with her progression. Eventually Rachel saw a door that made her stop dead in her tracks. Maybe her body had been leading her here on a subconscious level. Rachel wiped at some dampness under her eyes.
It was the staff entry to the kitchens. Rachel approached it, knowing that it would be risky to enter. The school was still a of couple hours off from lunch period, and Rachel wasn’t sure if the breakfast sales hadn’t ended yet. She didn’t know how she was going to talk her way into a snack or two, but she knew she had to try. And so, Rachel took a deep breath, tried the handle — it was unlocked! – and pushed her way inside.
She had expected to encounter a room full of kitchen staff, but instead found herself gazing around at an empty area with pristine metal surfaces, a clean grill, and an industrial refrigerator. Rachel waddled further inside, grimacing at the discomfort of her increasing hunger. This third baby was proving to be really demanding on her body.
Rachel made her way over to the fridge and wrenched it open. Her eyes went wide. She hadn’t thought that things would be nearly this easy, but the fridge was loaded with breakfast leftovers. There were boxes of juice and milk of varying flavors, there were buttered and cream cheese bagels wrapped in seran wrap, as well as those puffy, packaged muffins – blueberry, chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, banana nut — a whole pile of them. Rachel was suddenly grateful that her intrusive health-food legislation hadn’t gone so far as to impact the lunchroom offerings. Hands practically trembling, she reached out and grabbed one of the bagels.
Cinnamon raisin with a whole inch of cream cheese packed between the slices. Rachel gobbled it down as fast as she could, leaning back against one of the counters as she stuffed it down. It was cool and chewy, but delicious all the same. She groaned in pleasure as it hit her stomach, the babies seeming to flutter in response. Gasping for breath, Rachel leaned back over to the fridge and grabbed another bagel, this one plain, and packed with butter.
Rachel proceeded like that, working her way through six different bagels. Her belly felt tight and packed, and she had fully satisfied her hunger, yet even in her flustered state, she couldn’t help grabbing several muffins. She tore the packaging off a banana nut one, and took a huge chomp, appreciating the way it went down so much more easily than the bagels. She could just squish it into her mouth as she enjoyed the way the spongy, oily texture compacted and compressed so much she barely had to chew.
She gobbled her way through muffin after muffin. They practically melted down her throat. She groaned in pleasure, eating voraciously, until she found that she had run out options. The floor around her was covered in plastic wrappings.
Rachel groaned, clutching her abdomen. She could spot some of those single-serving cereal cups stacked on the counter near the grill, and felt in intense compulsion to snag a few, but she was honestly feeling a little nauseous, and her phone had been buzzing in her pocket for at least ten minutes.
Lethargically, Rachel pulled out phone as she leaned her other hand on the counter, her legs weak and eyelids heavy. She threw a glance at the screen and found herself suddenly wide-awake.
There were fifteen missed calls from her parents. Oh god… Rachel thought, hands trembling as she opened her voicemail. She selected the most recent recording then lifted the phone to her ear.
“Rachel, call me back this instant!” snapped Mom’s voice. “What the hell is going on? Your principal says you’re wearing some inappropriate costume? This isn’t like you! Why aren’t you answering your phone!? If I don’t hear back from you in the next five minutes, I am driving over to that school!”
Paling, Rachel dropped the phone onto the counter. The moment she did, it immediately started buzzing again, vibrating against the metallic surface with a harsh clacking noise. Oh fuck oh fuck… She couldn’t let her mother see her like this! She—she had to get out of there! Clutching her belly, Rachel waddled for the door, grimacing against the sharp ache of tightness in her gut. But she forced herself to keep moving.
She was gasping for breath, practically crying, as she hauled herself and her nearly at-term triplets through a back exit of the school building that led to a staff parking lot and a nearby greenway. Rachel didn’t know what she was going to do, but she couldn’t be here; she had to get away! She made her way towards the gate to the wooded area, when a car screeched right in front of her, and she nearly lost her balance.
Of course it was Lisa.
“Ditching campus?” Lisa smirked as she rolled the window down. “That’s not like you, Pilgrim.”
Rachel might have rolled her eyes were she not so desperate. Instead, she waddled over to the passenger door, swung it open, and plopped down. She was panting heavily, belly heaving and breasts rocking on her chest. She hurriedly found the energy to pull her other leg into the car, feeling suffocated by her weight pressed against her, pinning her down. She fumbled awkwardly, managing to shift her weight more towards her lap, as she whined, “Let’s go. P-please, just take me anywhere else.”
Lisa raised an eyebrow but didn’t argue as she drove off and away from the school.
Rachel’s weary hands made their way to her belly. She didn’t know why she kept finding herself massaging the tight, lurching mass. It wasn’t as though these babies were real or anything. They were just temporary. Triplets. She gulped. It was still hard to believe. She was eighteen, and pregnant with triplets.
Eight months, she reminded herself. Normal triplet pregnancies often didn’t even get this far. Rachel could remember a year ago when her aunt had been pregnant with twins. She had gone into labor in the seventh month. Thankfully, the babies had been okay.
“How are you feeling?” Lisa asked all singsongy, like she didn’t really care. She had a grin on her face.
Tight.
“Where are we going?” said Rachel breathlessly, electing not to humor Lisa with an answer. Lisa was deriving way too much pleasure from all this.
“I thought we could check out that maternity store on Main.” Lisa momentarily took her eyes off the road to give Rachel a once over from behind her oversized sunglasses.
“Right…okay…” Rachel deeply just wanted to lie down, but she knew this was part of the process. Lisa loved to exhaust and humiliate her. She loved watching Rachel haul her heavy burden around even when Rachel’s knees wanted to buckle. Rachel suspected that Lisa even enjoyed her awkward waddling, her fluster and sweating. All of it.
“Just one quick stop,” Lisa noted. “For lunch.” She threw Rachel a smirk.
Thankfully, this stop didn’t necessitate them getting out of the car. Lisa pulled into the drive-thru of a local fast food restaurant. She lazily ordered half a dozen double cheeseburgers and another half-dozen fried chicken sandwiches, with extra sauce.
Rachel gulped. “I – I already ate,” she stammered, trying to talk over the way her stomach grumbled just at the smell of the fried food wafting into the car window. Her voracious appetite was certainly disturbing, especially considering the fact that she was already uncomfortably full.
Lisa just gave her a look, as though inquiring as to why Rachel had just given her that useless piece of information.
The car rolled along to the pickup window, and after only a couple of minutes, a gangly restaurant staff member was leaning over to hand over several grease-dripping bags of fast food.
Lisa drove off. “Dig in,” she invited.
Rachel knew it was in order. She decided that she’d rather eat of her own volition than have Lisa take out the remote and force her to.
Trying not to grimace, Rachel shoved her hand into one of the bags, withdrawing a burger. She unwrapped it part way, so that she could still hold it with the paper, then opened her mouth wide to take a large bite into the oil-glistening meat and melted cheese.
Fast food was particularly easy to get down. It was so processed and didn’t necessitate too much effort. Rachel gulped, her face twisting as the food pushed into her already-packed stomach. A large belch came up her throat as she cupped at a pain low in her belly. She gulped against the returning nausea.
Lisa was watching the road. Rachel thought that if she ate continuously, but at a very slow pace, Lisa might not notice or mind. So Rachel slowly took a second, and smaller, bite, grimacing as she chewed.

When they arrived to the maternity store, Rachel brought one of the bags with her. It was partly to appease Lisa, and partly because of Rachel’s present and powerful compulsion to eat, even though she was red in the face, sweating, and felt tight to bursting. Even through pain, nausea, and the occasional dry-heave, she continued to gorge on burgers, packing them into her tension-filled belly. She felt as though the mound was throbbing and growing. It was so full and pressurized. The other customers and staff gave her odd looks, and Rachel couldn’t really blame them.
From her size to her skimpy attire, and her complete pigging out, Rachel certainly stood out. A middle-aged woman looked sincerely concerned. “Why, you’re so young. How far along are you, dear?”
“Eight months,” Lisa piped in cheerfully as Rachel chewed.
“Multiples?”
“Oh yeah,” said Lisa.
The other pregnant women patronizing the store sometimes gave Rachel commiserating looks, or just more stares. Rachel realized that several of the women were very advanced in their conditions, yet nowhere near Rachel's size. She was positively huge. No wonder she felt like a penguin, back arched, as she whimpered and waddled, barely able to maneuver her mass without bumping into things. Hardly able to breathe between bites of greasy food.
Then there was her outfit. The tiny shorts that didn’t nearly zip up, and the tube top her chest was close to bursting out of. The flesh of her belly, arms, legs, and shoulders were completely on display, cleavage bulging as her breasts bobbed relentlessly. If her hands were free, she would have clutched her belly, partly to support and partly to conceal, not that it did much good.
“I don’t know, Pilgrim…” Lisa mentioned as she held yet another piece of apparel up to Rachel’s belly. “I’m not sure any of this stuff is going to fit.”
They were at the end of the nine-month section which had the store’s largest sizes. There were even a couple of pieces designed for women carrying twins, but nothing farther than that. And there wasn’t anything that remotely looked as though it could accommodate Rachel.
“Oh well, we’ll give it a try,” said Lisa in clear amusement as she piled a couple more garments into her arms. “Oh, there’s an attendant. Mam, we need a fitting!”
Rachel soon found herself standing in a curtained off area with just Lisa and a store attendant who was presently wrapping a measuring tape around the widest section of Rachel’s waist. Rachel felt hot with embarrassment. Despite it, she stuffed the better part of a fried chicken sandwich into her mouth.
“Oh dear…” said the attendant as the measuring tape ran out of length. She lowered it. “I’m afraid that we don’t — well, at your stage — we may have to have something custom-made for you, hun.”
Rachel choked. “Um, th-that won’t be—”
“Are you sure you don’t have anything?” Lisa whined. “My friend literally has nothing to wear.” She pointedly nodded at Rachel’s outfit. “I swear, this gigantic belly popped out of nowhere!”
Rachel’s face was flaming.
The attendant frowned and regarded Rachel’s skimpy attire. “Of course, of course, I could try to put something together for you. We all deserve a bit of dignity. Don’t worry, I’ll get you fixed right up.”
Rachel swallowed. “T-thank you.” Anything had to be better than standing there with her huge breasts nearly spilling out of her top, and her butt cheeks bulging out of the back of her shorts. Her arms and legs looked comparatively flimsy even though they had gained some padding as well.
The attendant lightly patted her hand and Rachel managed a shaky smile.

I've been waiting for this one all month! Another good addition, can't wait for Lisa to pack more babies in there!
