The next time one of the beings in the rubber suits appeared, Elvira paid close attention.
They came in singles if to take a woman away for force-feeding, and as a group when taking one of the larger, riper women off, supposedly to be eaten. Well, regardless, she was never seen again.
But the aliens always entered the same way. There was an opening in the metal wall where doors hissed and pulled open smooth and mechanically. Sometimes looking just within it, Elvira would catch a glimpse of a green door that struck something in her memory. She knew instantly that this would lead to an exit. There was just the matter of getting to it.
She tried to rally the other women when they weren't too lethargic. It took a lot of effort just to get them to listen to her.
"Please,"" Elvira entreated breathlessly as she cradled her swollen midsection. Following her last force-feeding session, she looked hugely overdue and felt as though she was balancing a beach ball in front of her. She was also coming to realize that she was now getting larger than most of the others. "Just humor me. If we somehow distract the—the guy in the rubber suit, one of us might have a chance to slip out. I think I know the way. I can get help." Her voice was hushed as she spoke. She now found her hands rubbing deeply into the plump mound. There was a lurching inside of her and she felt nauseous at the thought that it likely wasn't just indigestion as she had originally told herself.
Elvira stood there under dubious stares and what felt like the longest silence ever, until someone else finally spoke.
"She's right," said the redhead. "The rest of us have just given up. This plan might fuck us all over, but at least its something. We have to try."
"Thank you," Elvira breathed, fidgeting. She arched her tense back, pushing her belly out even farther. Her hips were sore, but they were strong enough to support her. Her body had gotten softer and fuller, breasts round and plump where they perched atop her belly, backside bulging out behind her, drawing the cotton gown against the plump cheeks. She was continuously breathless. Her nipples ached and her flesh tingled. Her stride had devolved to a slow waddle and it was still hard to believe how massive she had become. "We act tonight."
There were mutterings amongst the women but no one else spoke. It struck Elvira that they were all still strangers. There was something very isolating about their experiences here despite their unity within the room.
"What's your name," Elvira asked the redhead. She leaned back against the wall to shift some of her weight off her burdened body.
The redhead hesitated, but eventually said, "Sarah."
"Sarah," Elvra echoed, giving a weary smile. She looked to another girl. "And yours? Everyone introduce yourselves. We're sisters here and we need to start looking out for each other."
It was reluctant at first but she got the women talking, even the meekest among them speaking up. By the time they had all introduced themselves, Elvira had slid down the wall, allowing her huge mass to settle against her plump thighs. Some of the other women had leaned down to ask if she was alright. One rubbed her side and Elvira realized that they were beginning to treat her the way they treated the women who seemed close to being taken away.
But it wasn't her time. Not yet. Elvira brushed off the fretting women. "We act tonight," she reiterated breathlessly, wiping some sweat off her forehead. Her nipples stung but she resisted the urge to touch them or be anymore distracted by her throbbing body.
"Fine," said Sarah after a moment. "Fine, let's do it."
"Okay," said another voice.
Steadily, all the others agreed.
"Are you sure it should be you, Elvira?" asked a nervous girl named Teresa. "Maybe someone else..."
"I've got this," Elvira said. "Trust me. I'm getting us out of here. I promise."
And all that was left was the planning.

They decided that Maggie would create a diversion.
Maggie was around Elvira's age, though much smaller framed. It made her massive belly, breasts, and weight-gain all the more profound. She was practically buried beneath it all.
Maggie was one of the fewer women left who was bigger than Elvira. She complained of strange episodes of tension in her gut and was expected to be taken away any day now. Maggie was terrified. She was the person that the figures in rubber suits seemed to pay the closest attention to.
That evening, when the door opened, and one of the faceless people emerged, Maggie released a high wail and clutched at her belly in apparent pain. "They're coming," she shrieked, and even Elvira would have been convinced had this not all been planned out.
The hazmat-suited figure glided over. The door was still open, but all focus was on Maggie.
Elvira braced herself. This was her chance.
