The young officer grabbed hold of Lana’s head and tried to shove her down into the cruiser but Lana found herself resisting.
“Mam, don’t make this harder on yourself,” the officer said.
Yet Lana managed to pull away, stumbling back slightly. The interior of the cruiser just looked so synthetic, so uninhabitable and uninviting. There wasn’t a source of food or water or fresh air. Where would she be able to build? Or gain nourishment? How could she enclose herself in a space that was so unsuitable?
Somewhere, on a deep level, Lana knew that none of these concerns made sense. Yet the instinctive part of her just had her backing farther away, her free hands clutching her large belly in a protective manner.
People had begun to come out of the store and crowd around, keen to see the ongoing spectacle. Many remained fixated on Lana, as they took in the bizarre shape of her body.
“Not another move!” the officer screeched, grasping clumsily for his gun.
The action made Lana both furious and terrified. “No!” she shouted. There was a sharp clinking of metal, and she belatedly noticed that she had somehow broken the handcuffs apart, the metal cuffs now hanging around her upper wrists with either end of the broken chain dangling off each.
The officer made a strange squeaking noise and fell on his ass. The dozen or two surrounding spectators wore expressions that ranged from shocked to excited. There was no consensus on whether this scenario was real or just another part of some elaborate show.
Lana’s heart was pounding. Her mind was spinning, and she could not construe a reasonable thought. Instead, instinct took hold of her, instinct that told her to flee before someone else tried to threaten her freedom. She felt a wrenching pain in her back that was accompanied by a sickening wet tearing noise, then there were two translucent things hoovering on either side of her. Lana gazed in shock at the two massive wings that had sprung out of her back. She momentarily got lost in the elaborate patterns and the iridescent gleam. They were insect wings, only they were massive, and they were somehow connected to her.
The wings began to flutter rapidly. She felt her feet hoover off the sidewalk, people gasping and pointing at the action. Lana felt a surge of panic. She lunged forward and snatched up a small child, before she was suddenly airborne, and shooting through the sky.
-
Lana didn’t know what happened, or how long she was out, but when she came to, she was in a very cramped space. It was damp, smelled like soil, and was full of leaves, dirt, rock, and rottening branches. All of this was comforting somehow. Lana shifted somewhat, and groaned.
Her breasts ached and her belly shivered. She allowed her eyes to adjust to the heavy darkness around her, and belatedly noticed that she had something clutched to her chest by all four of her arms. It was the small child that she had grabbed up earlier. She didn’t know why, or what she was going to do with the child. She pulled him away from her chest, only to realize that it was actually a small man. Lana gasped and shoved the unconscious person away from her.
Her breasts were throbbing. She could feel all four of them rising and falling. They were uniform in size now, and had clearly grown since she had passed out. The four were plump, heavy F-cups, each bloated round, nipples stinging. She grunted and squirmed as one began to seep. She panted and arched, encouraging the flow. She felt her other three nipples, one by one, begin to leak. Her whole body was incredibly warm. She hummed quietly, shifting, exploring herself.
She was in some sort of cavern, and deep—the space was completely dark. She could tell it was a wooded area by the sounds of birds and wildlife outside. The narrow space could hardly accommodate her, her belly frequently scraping into the rock walls that enclosed her.
Her belly felt large. Enormous, she thought. It was clear that her abdomen had grown as well while she was unconscious. Lana steadily shifted herself into a sitting position, feeling the massive mound plop heavily into her lap. It felt wider than the rest of her waist. It probably resembled a beachball in its massiveness. But rather than being daunted, Lana allowed her fingers to trail over the massive dome, which felt pleasantly soft and plump, yet still firm and bloated. By the squirming sensations that littered her insides, she knew, intrinsically, that it was…occupied. She was with child. Lana hummed again.
It took some maneuvering, but she managed to crawl back, squeezing her fecund body progressively out of the cavern. The farther she managed to go, the more space became available. Her large belly dragged on the ground, getting smeared with dirt, but there weren’t any alternatives. She had simply gotten too large.
She finally crawled out of the opening, and found herself crouched on the edge of a rock formation that looked like it necessitated professional climbing gear to reach. The air was brisk and cool. She looked down, slightly alarmed by how high she was from the ground. She could just make out the tips of trees, but the forest below her was largely just a blur of various shades of green.
She eased down against the edge of the opening, belly settled in her lap. She stared off at the beauty of the horizon, rather mystified. She wondered how she could have possibly gotten up here in her state, then she remembered…
The wings.
Lana immediately craned her neck to look at them, but they had disappeared. She would have thought she had imagined the whole thing if she hadn’t found herself in this impossible position on a small mountain, dealing with the additional impossibilities of her extra breasts and arms, her swollen midsection, and the—tail, thing.
Though thinking of it as a tail suddenly seemed inaccurate, almost insulting. The fat, protruding mound behind her was more important. Somehow she knew its significance was more than just to sway meaninglessly behind her.
It felt full, almost weirdly…engorged, the interior twitching and contracting, as though it was its own independent body system. It had a ridged, asymmetrical appearance, sort of bulging at parts. It continued to cramp and twitch, like it was preparing for something. The base—where the growth met her tailbone, felt uncomfortable and pressurized, and left her fidgeting.
The mound was sprawled limply on the earth behind her, like a slug that had been doused with salt. Lana’s four swollen breasts were stacked atop her belly, each gently heaving with her heavy breathing. She couldn’t believe how far things had gone. She shifted slightly, trying to get more comfortable.
Her belly was tight and ached, almost painfully large. It shuddered, and she grunted out. The weird pressure on her tailbone increasing in a sensation that felt almost like she would when she had to defecate, though out of place. She was afraid to follow the pressure, to push the muscles there. It felt like something inside her was steadily slipping out of place. Lana clutched her belly with four hands, grunting, squirming. Her forehead beaded with sweat, she fought against the sensation. She was afraid.
Her belly contracted gently, and any control evaporated. Lana gasped as she felt something painlessly pop out of her, past her tailbone. She could feel it pushing into the tail—the sac. And the sac easily swallowed it down. Lana stared down at her belly in astonishment.
It tightened again, and the process repeated itself, her cheeks reddening as she felt another—something—a mound, shove steadily into the sac, to be swallowed down. The pressure within the sac grew in a way that was oddly pleasant. Again, her belly contracted, and passed another mound.
She had been frightened at first, not knowing what was happening to her young. But now she almost fully understood. This was just another part of her process. Her young—her eggs—were passing into the sac for their final stages of incubation before it was time for them to be born.
Now each pop and passage offered a strange sense of relief to accompany the surging pleasure.
Bracing herself on the wall, Lana climbed slowly to her feet, a bit surprised that her limbs could even support her anymore in her massiveness. The weight of the sac helped counterbalance the greater weight of her belly. She stood there, taking long, deep breaths for a while, just taking in the magnificence of her own form. And with the next contraction, Lana experimentally applied pressure. She pushed, and gasped as several eggs popped into the sac simultaneously. She unconsciously shoved her belly outward, shivering. Her two lower hands flew down to cup the underside of her abdomen.
“Mmmmghhh…” she moaned quietly, allowing her fingers to drag over the heated flesh as the contraction ebbed away.
She thought her present outfit could have qualified as underwear in how much it revealed. The stretchy white tank top hugged her form but only pulled down over her four swollen breasts, with no hope of even beginning to accommodate the sharp jut of her massive belly. And her breasts themselves seemed too much for the fabric, bulging heavily over the strained neckline, swollen nipples only inches from visibility.
The spandex skirt was barely hanging on, shoved low both by her belly and the sac protruding out from her tailbone. It hugged her thighs, and almost reached her knees. But Lana was largely bare, her belly bulging out freely and visible, her cleavage straining her top, close to tearing free, and her disproportionately slim legs exposed and braced to support it all.
In addition to that, her clothes were dirty and torn in many places, presumably from her venture into the cave. Lana lightly shook her head, continuing to idly massage her belly mound, as she knew not what else to do with herself. The peaked tip of her sack twitched somewhere behind her, against her lower leg. What is happening to me? she wondered, for just one lucid moment.
There was a masculine groan coming from somewhere behind her. Lana’s head sharply jerked towards the entrance of the cavern, her eyes wide and her skin prickling in her hyperawareness of her surroundings. It was the man. He was awaking. Lana was still not sure why she had grabbed him up, but his presence suddenly seemed to be intruding on something deeply personal. Something she had to protect.
She began to walk before she really thought about it, stepping right off the cliff edge. Her body glided gracefully towards the grass, and she knew that her wings were out, fluttering, supporting her.
Her feet lightly connected with the grass. The woods were dark, but she could see surprisingly well. Her belly jerked and bobbed merrily on its own. The sac was heavy where it hung down past her ass, and knees, swaying with her steady movements. It felt thicker and plumper than ever before. The peaked tip of it was now stinging slightly, but in a way that was oddly welcoming.
Lana held onto a tree and felt a shiver run through her body. She breathed heavily, feeling almost euphoric with the progress. Despite the passage of the eggs, her belly was still massive. She could still feel it growing, as though in response to the additional space.
Despite the periods that she felt entirely lucid, Lana knew that there was something else there, sitting heavy on her consciousness. A sense of instinct that was steadily overpowering her. Unthinkingly, she began to scrape at a tree. She picked and peeled back the bark, revealing oozing sap. She hungrily began to lap it up, then scraped at the tree some more.
The pressure peaked again. More of her yearning offspring. She grunted and grimaced, her belly tightening and squeezing the contents within. It sharpened into a torpedo shape, then softened, then repeated the process as she panted and released animalistic grunts and felt a large batch of eggs steadily lurching towards the sac.
It was a lot to take. Lana sunk to her knees, but couldn’t nearly get to all fours. Instead her belly pressed into the soft grass, perched there on her spread thighs. The sac was getting huge by then. It laid behind her, throbbing and twitching, half the size of her belly in girth but shaped elliptical, like a football.
“Nrrgghhh…” Lana grunted, squirming even though she was rendered stationary by all the activity. Her nipples began to leak more, pouring hot sticky milk, soaking her shirt. The sac was burning now—the end tip of it. Something was stretching…spreading…crowing? She whimpered.
A buzzing noise hummed deep in her throat. Steadily, the first of her children was born.
