Attending classes was getting increasingly wearisome.
And not just because college courses were boring in general. Ella was getting slower, more lethargic. Every little task seemed to take an unreasonable amount of effort.
Everyone was staring at Ella as she walked in, by then, her belly wide enough to almost scrape either side of the doorframe as it preceded her into the room. The other students wore looks of shock and trepidation. The professor was flabbergasted, his jaw hanging for a moment, before he gathered himself.
Jackie was at Ella’s side, arm linked with hers, supportive as ever. Ella was grateful for that. It was a true struggle to keep her balance. She strained through her heavy waddle, her back arched, hand feebly cupping the underside of her massive gut.
Ella was dressed in a simple outfit that Jackie had gifted her, conveniently enough. It had come at the perfect time, being that most of Ella’s other clothes had stopped fitting her.
The shorts were pushed low by the sharp jut of her abdomen. The tank top hugged against her, fat breasts bulging against the neckline, pushed high, almost to her chin by the unyielding shelf her huge belly made.
They had to be FF-cups by then, and only seemed to be growing bigger by the day. Her belly was a globe, resembling a beach ball, or something even larger. It had been a while since she had seen her feet, and Ella was admittedly starting to get concerned.
The exertion of walking across the lecture hall left Ella flushed and sweaty, gasping for breath. The sweaty patches connected and drenched her, making the fit of her outfit all the tighter, until it was pasted to her skin.
None of the regular student desks had any hopes of accommodating her, so Ella wobbled over to the table on the side, with a separate chair, set up for students who were disabled or otherwise needed more space.
After a few moments of hesitating and painstaking angling, Ella slowly eased herself down, Jackie gripping her shoulders to help keep balanced. Ella’s butt connected with the seat, and the weight of her belly felt almost crushing on her lap. She squirmed uncomfortably, her thighs rapidly going numb. The chair creaked. She panted and wearily tried to air out her cleavage without flashing anyone.
It was only then that Ella noticed that the classroom was still completely silence. She slowly looked up, and to her embarrassment, noticed that every eye was on her.
“Ahem,” Professor Peters cleared his throat, finally tearing his gaze away from Ella’s squashed form. “Please turn your books to page 574, where we can review the colonial era of…”
It was hard to pay attention. It seemed impossible to focus on anything aside from her swollen body these days. Taking notes proved nearly impossible after Ella realized that she could not even reach her notebook where it lay across the table before her. Every time she extended her arms to the table top, she was made uncomfortably aware that her belly was pressing into the edge, dividing her from it. The mound now outspanned her arms. Her innards lurched and heaved and left her twisting in her seat. Often she felt as though she had to really use the bathroom, but sitting on the toilet and attempting to defecate (or actually doing so) never seemed to lead to any relief of the sense of heaviness low on her pelvis, her hips twitching as they struggled to accommodate it.
Class became a haze, Ella preoccupied with thinking about all the sensations littering her body inside and out. She only snapped out of her daze, when she heard the noises of students packing up and leaving the room. Had two hours passed already?
Jackie was up front, having a conversation with professor Peters, about a test grade, it seemed. Not bothering to wait for her, Ella tried to get up. She cupped the side of her belly, still astounded by how firm it felt under her fingers. Her hand slid down low on the mound, then clutched it, as if this would do her any good. She struggled to stand, legs shuddering, back arching and straining. Her belly jutted, and she wished she’d had a game plan before even attempting this. She was struggling under her own weight, twisting herself to accommodate it all. With a hard push of her thighs, she was certain she would find her footing, but then the chair creaked more harshly than before, and Ella had a fleeting instance of panic, before the chair gave way beneath her, and she found herself crashing to the floor.
She gasped for breath, not hurt, but mortified. Several stunned faces came to hoover over her as she wiggled helplessly on the ground, feeling like a turtle stuck on its shell, and looking like a beached whale, she was sure.
“Oh my gosh, are you okay?” said a student, leaning down at Ella’s side. “When are you due. M-multiples…right?”
“Well, it has to be,” another whispered nervously.
“We should get you to the hospital.”
It wasn’t the first time pregnancy had been mentioned. Maybe there was something to the claim.

So fat she broke a chair and was openly accused of having multiples? Fantastically written stuff!
