The diner was typical. Not too nice but not run down either. Jade settled into things surprisingly fast. She enjoyed the peaceful repetition of pouring drinks and serving out simple meals. It wasn't until her second day on the job that she met the suspect.
He indeed looked like the type of guy who would be a regular at a quiet diner in a lower middle class neighborhood. He was wearing jeans and a plaid button-down. His clothes were wrinkled and his face was scruffy but he wasn't unattractive. He fumbled to check the amount of cash in his wallet and only really noticed her midway through his breakfast order.
"Oh..." he said, his eyes belatedly snapping up from her chest. "You're...new."
Jade put on a winning smile. Then she belately toned it down, not wanting to seem overly eager. "I'm Stacey. Just started yesterday. Did you want cream and sugar with your coffee, sir?"
"I, uh..." Bryson's eyes had wandered back down to Jade's cleavage as though magnetized. She didn't know whether to be pleased or disappointed with herself, but she dutifully kept smiling. She swung her long hair back so that not an inch of her chest was covered, aware that she was participating in her own objectification.
"Ted," he said and it could have almost been endearing, how flustered he was getting. "Ted Bryson."
"Nice to meet you, Ted," said Jade sweetly as she lifted the kettle and poured out his coffee.
From there things proceeded with relative ease. It turned out she was a natural at flirting. And Bryson was kind of fun to talk to, probably because he mostly stared and listened. He wasn't even that much older than she was. At most late twenties. Originally the job had seemed queasy, but Jade was kind of enjoying the ease and tranquility of it.
The apartment she had been given was minimalist yet it was kind of freeing to not have her tutors constantly hovering over her at her parents' expansive property. Weekly, Jade was expected to make contact with her police overseers by phone, email, or occasionly in person.
Jade cooked occasionly but she mostly ordered in. In her leisure time she watched shows and movies or even went shopping despite the fact that she didn't have much use for a full wardrobe. She was only allowed to wear the clothes she had been provided, and she was usually just in her waitress uniform. It was still fun to purchase clothes she could make use of after this whole thing was over. The majority of her income went into savings, but she had no reservations on splurging. She also bought some books, electronics, or just miscellaneous items online.
Jade got a lot of snacks as well. She found herself eating more ice cream than she ever had in her life. She was constantly craving it but she knew she had to counterbalance the calories with exercise. She wondered if her joining a gym would be okay with the detectives. Lately her clothes were getting tighter, particularly in the chest area.
Jade looked down at herself after getting dressed one morning. Her already-tight uniform was getting uncomfortable, kind of squeezing into her. The mounds felt weighted and hot, and were bloated round. Sometimes it was difficult to focus at the diner because all her attention with stuck on her aching nipples and her sweaty cleavage. She couldn't deny that her breasts were still growing. She had hoped that it would stop now that she had discontinued the pills Pete had been forcing on her. She had expected the growth to slow down at the very least. But she couldn't say that either had occurred. She was still steadily growing, still filling. She knew now that her breasts were engorged, plump with milk, and she had no idea how to stop it. This shouldn't have been occurring in the first place. But maybe if she waited...if she gave it more time to subside...
"Oh," said detective Reed in surprise when they met for a Jade's next progress report.
Jade felt her skin flush. Had she changed? She supposed that sort of thing would be quite noticeable to people who saw her infrequently. Like when a person gained a large amount of weight without really catching it themselves. Not until an outsider commented on it, prompting them to step on a scale. But had Jade changed that much? She had purchased a couple of DD-cup bras two weeks back just to wear on her occasional days off. But now when she tried them on they hardly fit, instead compressing her chest, as her flesh bulged and overflowed heavily against the cups. She was close to spilling out of the bras entirely.
As Jade looked down at herself now, seated in the bookstore cafe where Reed had chosen for their meeting to be, she observed how truly strained her uniform was at her chest, buttons close to snapping off.
"You um..." Reed fumbled a bit. "Why don't we put an order in for a new uniform?"
"Well um...yes, that would be good," Jade responded, feeling a surge of self-consciousness. She wondered who else noticed the growth. The other diner regulars? Mr. Wilson, the owner? The undercover cop or the other CI stationed there?
Bryson might have noticed. He saw her almost daily, yet Jade somehow doubted it had gotten past him. He sat at the counter every morning watching as she poured his coffee. He was cautious in their interactions but also a bit keen. She certainly had his attention but there were several barriers she had yet to broach in their superficial conversations.
His eyes always flickered down to her chest the moments he thought she wasn't paying attention. When she was serving other clients. When she was turning away to pick up an order or just pouring drinks.
As Jean sat there awkwardly, she didn't know what to say. She didn't know if this necessitated explanation so she simply kept her mouth shut.
"How are things going with the suspect?" Reed thankfully segued.
"I think he's opening up. But slowly."
Reed nodded. "Keep at it, Smith."

It was the very next day at the diner that Jade feared she had reached capacity. She had told herself that the new uniform would help but the pressure was inside of her.
She could tell that on his arrival Bryson had noticed her larger size outfit. His brows had risen and a fleeting sense of thrill had crossed his face. He was excited and Jade was just uncomfortable. She had locked herself in the bathroom and unbuttoned her top.
The mounds were so full and swollen. They were confirmed E-cups. At least thats what she had been told when she had gotten in measurements done at the mall. She groaned and fidgeted, leaning her hands on the sink. "God, not now," she breathed, yet she found herself arching, trying to push the process along.
She groaned as her tender right nipple abruptly squirted, splattering the mirror with milk. She leaned over the sink as the left nipple joined in, gushing milk as she breathed, flesh hot and sweaty. While the lactation was embarrassing and inconvenient, it's certainly matched the cover the officers had created for her. She was supposed to be a young single mother who had gotten kicked out of her family home after getting pregnant. It would explain the breast growth as well as any embarrassing incidents of leaking. Of course, Jade had hoped that things wouldn't come to this.
She panted and waited for the lactation to stop but her nipples kept consistently dripping. After five minutes she knew she had to get out of the bathroom. "Fuck," Jade groaned, but she had at least prepared for this occurance. She rummaged in her purse and dug up a very small spandex bandeau--just a strip of cloth, really. She pulled it on, easing it over her swollen mounds, and adding some padding into it to soak up the milk output.
Jane buttoned up her uniform only enough to cover the bandeau. She ensured that her deep line of cleavage was still on display. It was all just part of the job.
"God I'm thirsty," she murmured as she returned to her spot behind the counter.
"Just between you and me," she added with a wink at Bryson. She pulled out a container of vanilla ice cream and a carton of heavy cream, lowering them to the counter next to the blender. The ice cream was made fresh at the diner and the owner purchased all of his dairy products from a local farm. The taste was fresh and sweet, unlike any of the store-bought milk Jade had always consumed before.
She was certain that she was getting addicted to the milk shakes here. She quickly put one together for herself, adding in a spoon of butter and some extra sugar. She blended it then poured it into an extra large glass, adding a straw before taking a long suck. "Mmmmm..." Her worries melted away if just for that moment. God it was good. Jade only realized that her eyes were closed as she opened them again. She noticed Bryson was staring at her, his jaw hanging slack. He averted his eyes as usual and awkwardly cleared his throat.
Jade coughed. "How are your eggs?"
"Great," said Bryson, shuffling said eggs around with his fork. "How's te baby doing?"
Jade was a little surprised by the question. She had previously mentioned her fake baby in passing. "Great, um, he's doing well. Sleeping through the night now."
That was suitably generic.
"The dad still not in the picture?" said Bryson, not meeting her eyes. For a suspected criminal he could be awfully shy.
"No," said Jade.
"That's wrong," Bryson finally looked up.
" It is what it is. I, er, I'd rather not talk about it."
"Right."
Then they lapsed into awkward silence.
"Do you...want to get together some time? For a drink?" Bryson asked.
Jade took a long sip of her shake. She had explicitly been told to never meet up with the suspect outside of the diner. So she didn't know what came over her when she responded, "Yes."
-
She wouldn't stop leaking.
When Jade woke up the following day her night shirt was soaked and straining. It felt as though it had shrunk.
"Fuck," she murmured. Her problem was rapidly exacerbating.
Jade got showered and put on a top that she could barely squeeze into now even though it had fit her fine a week earlier.
She was just so full. God why was this happening? She closed her eyes and inhaled for a moment, trying to think through the growing dilemma.
She doffed the top for a moment to squeeze into a nursing bra she had purchased recently. It wasn't one of the designated outfits provided by the police department but she needed something to ease the unbearable sensitivity of her swollen nipples while containing her continually seeping milk.
She left the apartment and went somewhere she hadn't anticipated going to any time in the near future. A maternity store. She folded her hands under her chest, wishing she had a hoodie or something. She felt undeniably self-conscious as she awkwardly browsed through the offerings of breast pumps.
She was cognizant of the fact that her breasts were bulging from the cups of the E-cup bra she had on. She could not believe how fast they were swelling. She hastily grabbed a decent-looking pump and made her way to the register.
-
When Jade got home, she had no choice but to try it out. It was that or seeping through several more layers of padding and probably a couple of shirts. She pressed each suction cup to her nipples and turned on the machine at the end of the tubing.
At first the sensation was new and startling and she shuddered through it. It took several minutes before she began to get used to it and the tension of her back dissolving as she sunk into the couch.
She just hoped this would help. After all she had a date that evening, and the last thing she wanted to worry about was her now-constant lactating.
After twenty minutes of pumping, things got uncomfortable and the tubes were no longer drawing milk. Jade turned off the machine and mopped her sweaty face with her hand. Her breasts felt cooler and no longer tight and bloated. Her whole body was flushed and covered with a sheen of sweat. She took off the rest of her clothes and went into the bathroom for a hasty rinse.
Once she was out and dried off, she poked through her closet. The clothes options wouldn't nearly convey the message she was trying to send, but she just have to settle. This was an assignment after all. Jade selected a tube dress that hugged into every curve of her body. Her breasts looked just huge, bulging from the low neckline. It would just have to suffice.
Undoing her ponytail and shaking out her long hair, Jade grabbed her purse and left the apartment.
