For an hour he was forced to perch there, and take in the sprays, as his breasts periodically tightened and his udder swelled. He grunted and squirmed but it was all futile. He resigned to hanging his head, slumping down against himself as his breasts swelled beyond honeydew territory, spilling forward and pressing his chin. He trembled whenever his nipples distended, wiggling, stiffening, getting unnaturally long. They resembled D-batteries by then. Lucas panted.
His udder was the worst of all. It had absolutely no room left to grow. “Nrrrrghhhhhh…” Lucas groaned as it pressed harder against his belly and between his thighs. No more, he thought, sweat pouring down his face.
And to Lucas’s relief, his prayers were answered. The mists dispersed, and were not replaced. After a few moments, Reed and Reynolds removed their gas masks.
“Why won’t he go into labor?” said Reed in bafflement.
“We’ll just have to keep working on it,” said Reynolds firmly.
Lucas barely heard what they discussed. Eyes unfocused, he was completely out of it, unaware of the puddle of milk he was knelt in, or the beads of spittle presently rolling down his chin. His massive breasts heaved up and down, jiggling slightly as he struggled to catch his breath.
Lucas spent the next few days in and out of consciousness. Through the tightness, discomfort, growth, and arousal, he remembered only fleeting things, such as being moved onto a mattress on the floor, his belly pressing hard against it. He remembered sprays and feedings. He also recalled injections, exams, fingers and tools pressing against his bloated body, but nothing substantial. Everything else, he blacked out for.
There was one occasion in which Lucas felt the female scientist gently brushing back his hair. It was nice.
“Moooo…” Lucas remarked.
Maybe he was finally becoming a cow. He sure seemed to have the attention span of one. Being flooded with late-term cow-pregnancy hormones was probably what had pushed him over the edge. The sprays didn’t help. Green and purple. Purple and green. It was an endless cycle of inhaling, consuming, growing.
Lucas hadn’t seen himself in a while, but he was sure that he had changed. His face was surely fuller, rounder, maybe even in a childish way. His shoulders certainly looked softer, and his thighs felt bigger, thicker. This offered no relief to his heated udder between them. His bottom felt round and soft, like two pillows protruding behind him.
His belly continued to advance. The more the scientists sprayed him, the more plump he seemed to grow.
The babies were getting restless. And his navel was starting to point slightly downwards, his belly taking on almost an elliptical shape.
Over days, Lucas felt a growing pressure on his groin. His vaginal lips really were quite bloated now. And he feared that it would be happening soon.
And then one day, he snapped out of his haze.
Presently he was propped on his knees, perched against his belly. He could feel one of the babies pushing against his opening, though he didn’t even think he was in labor. The babies were literally popping out of him. “Mooooo…” Lucas quietly groaned, hoping the scientists didn’t hear. He didn’t know why he gently rocked his hips. His belly tightened, but he struggled to hold it in.
What would happen to his babies if he had them here?
He could feel the baby lodged in his birth canal. His body wanted to push, to push so badly. Lucas started to pant as he tried to restrain himself. His face reddened and his belly forcefully contracted. “Mmmmm…” Oh god. He was tight, so tight. Now his nipples and teats were spurting milk all over the place. “Ahhhhh, nrgghhh…” His body throbbed, his opening parting.
Not here. Oh god. “Not here…” Lucas groaned out. Despite it, his hips widened, rocked, his whole body twitching as it tried to force the baby out.
He was surprised by how easy it was. After all that it was simple. The child wasn’t so large as it was plump. It squished out of him, then plopped down. Lucas was so large, he couldn’t even see it.
Reed and Reynolds hurried into the room.
“He’s delivering,” said Reed in shock.
The two closed in on him, checking his vitals, adjusting the monitors. Lucas could already feel a second baby being shoved through his birth canal. Silent tears rolled down his cheeks as Reynolds collected his first born from beneath him.
The baby girl resembled a human baby, but bigger, and very fat, with little cow ears protruding from her head, black patches littering her skin, and unusually large black eyes.
To be short, he was gorgeous.
Reynolds regarded the baby in fascination, before beginning to walk off with it to the next room. Lucas shook with sobs as another baby started to crown. “P-please,” he managed. “W-Webber. He’s mmmyy father.”
Both Reed and Reynolds froze to stare at Lucas in shock.
Lucas’s labor continued from there much the way it had been going. As Reeds and Reynolds fell into a hushed argument a few paces away, Lucas popped out baby after baby, releasing his mooo-ed moans as he did.
“He can talk,” Reed snapped to Reynolds just as Lucas’s third baby started to emerge.
“How was I supposed to know?” Reynolds hissed back.
Lucas’s muscles contracted beyond his control as he delivered baby four, five, then six. How many more could he possibly contain? Lucas stared at his belly. It had shrunken somewhat, but it was nowhere near gone. He thought that it would relieve some of the tension in his udder, but the pink mound seemed to be tightening, in preparation.
After a ninth baby had been birthed, Lucas felt positively stunned. He had grown smaller, flexible enough to ease his weary body onto his back. The babies were highly capable, to his amazement. They were squirming, crawling. One latched itself to one of his nipples.
Though he was overwhelmed by the warmth of meeting his young, Lucas tried to stay focused on the task at hand. He ran his hands up and down his round belly. It was still large enough that he looked due with triplets. And beyond the padding of fat that now coated it, there was a definite firmness. There was something still inside.
Lucas’s belly tightened as a painful contraction tore through him, causing his eyes to open wide. He gasped for breath, running his hands up and down his mound. None of the other contractions had been like that. Was there something wrong? And why was this baby taking so long?
“Nnngghhhhhhhhh!” Lucas grunted, unintentionally sitting up somewhat, causing the babies who had been attached to him to fall away. A vein throbbed on his temple as he gasped for breath. A fresh flood of tears started to roll down his cheeks. He wanted his mother. This was too much!
Suddenly Reynolds and Reed were at Lucas’s sides again, gently moving the babies aside. They helped him to an upright position and drew back his knees.
“This one’s larger than the others.” Reynolds felt around Lucas’s stomach.
“Lucas, this one isn’t going to be easy. I want you to push hard with your next contraction,” said Reed.
Gasping for breath, Lucas shook his head in refusal. It was too painful. This one was too big. But then the contraction hit him, and his whole body trembled. Suddenly fighting against it was the last thing he wanted to do.
“Errrrrggghhhhhhh!” Lucas grunted as he pushed with all his strength.
When the contraction ended, he had hoped that it would be over, but it wasn’t nearly.
“You’re making good progress,” Reed assured. “I can feel it.”
“Oh god,” Lucas cried. “I want my mom. My mmom, please, mmmggghhhhhh!” With this push, the baby started to crown.
It was another two hours until his last baby was out of him. It was another girl, and she was different from the rest. The baby had no cow-features that Lucas could see. She also reminded Lucas, sort of, of Ralph.
When it was over, Lucas was barely conscious. But he was treated with more dignity than before. He was moved from the floor to a room with a bed—somewhere the farmhands probably caught naps. His face was wiped clean and he was dressed in a pajama top that was left unbuttoned in the front and pajama bottoms that were pushed down so his udder protruded freely. He was sprawled on his side but could barely sleep through his babies fighting over his four teats and four nipples.
The more-human baby was different. It wasn’t strong or aggressive like the others. Lucas had to try to clutch her, and nurse her manually. It was awkward, and difficult, and Lucas had to deal with the fumbling cow-babies causing the human one to repetitively detach.
He was still astonished that he’d had all girls.
The nursing process was uncomfortable, and weird, and often, it tickled. He could feel his breasts and udders gently swelling, to accommodate the demand.
His belly was nowhere near the size that it had been when it carried them. It was round as a woman’s who was at term with one child, but round with fat, squishy, and compressible. He would have to deal with it later. All of it later. Lucas closed his eyes.
There was the sound of the door opening. “Lucas?” said a tearful voice.
Lucas looked up in surprise. “Mom?” He tried to sit up, but winced. The babies weren’t having it. “Dad!” he said, his bottom lip starting to quiver.
“We’re so sorry,” said Reed, as she guided Lucas’s parents into the room. Even as she did, Reed was staring at Cona’s physique. “We—we didn’t know that he was yours. We would have never—”
But Reed was left ignored as Lucas’s parents hurried over to the bed. They marveled at the babies. Cona leaned down to kiss Lucas’s forehead. “Congratulations Lucas.”
Lucas was too overwhelmed to respond. So he simply nodded his head.
