"It’s a misunderstanding," Penelope wheezed out just before a new contraction left her groaning as she clutched at her quaking orb.
The two officers had frozen to stare for at least three minutes. Finally, one seemed to snap out of his reverie. He blinked hard several times. "I'm afraid you'll have to take this up with the courts." He roughly nudged his partner, who startled and shook himself. The partner with his belt and produced a pair of hand cuffs.
They had to be kidding!
"I'm in labor," said Penelope desperately. "Ohh godddd..." she groaned, squeezing her eyes shut as another contraction tore through her. Once it ended, she gasped out, "Look at me. I—I can't—"
"Do not resist," said the first officer, the burlier of the two.
Amy, the doula, looked utterly panicked. Her eyes darted from one person to the next. "I can't be involved in this. This isn't what I agreed to. I have to go."
"Amy, wait—" Penelope started, but Amy had already hurried out of the room. Penelope could hear her shuffling through the house. The front door opened then slammed shut.
Now the skinner officer was by the bed trying to force Penelope into a sitting position, grunting from the exertion of heaving her up.
"I can't—nngghhhh...ohhhh...I have to give birth," Penelope protested as her hands were cuffed behind her. "I'm in labor." She moaned. Her belly heaved and jumped.
The officers had fallen into staring again, looking at her massive belly, rather mystified.
Finally, the burly one tore his gaze away. "We'll have you seen by the jail medic."
Her legs felt like jelly as she was dragged to her feet, the officers groaning on either side of her as they strained to support her. Her belly looked like a bolder, her tits the size of volleyballs. She was bulging heavily from the shorts and tank top she had on, her top just managing to cover her breasts, while the shorts were pasted to her swollen hips and backside, so shrunken against her, they resembled underwear rather than pants. Her huge belly was fully visible, bulging out in the open, every heave, quake, and lurch of movement visible to gawking passerby as she was dragged outside.
"Oh god, they're coming!" cried Penny, nearly collapsing. The officers groaned from the strain of her weight.
"Yeah, yeah," the burly one forced out. "Get in the car."
She was crammed and stuffed into the backseat of the police cruiser, breathing thinly as she tried to adjust herself into a position that didn't make her feel like she would burst right open. The pressure was surging downwards, her first baby already in position. She couldn't give birth in jail. She had put so much effort into dragging out this pregnancy. She needed to give birth on the livestream and get the money she had earned.
"God, you don't know what you're doing," she moaned, squeezing her thighs shut against the compulsion to spread them wide open.
Burly was driving and was focused mostly on the road. But Skinny was intently watching her through the rearview mirror.
"You're ruining everything," Penelope groaned, her belly jerking and heaving through the next contraction. She arched and milk seeped into her shirt until it started dripping through.
"Maybe you shouldn't have broken the law," Burly quipped.
Skinny remained silent, still silently staring.
She was dragged into the precinct, hardly able to move on her own. Officers and perps alike froze in place to gawk at her. Everyone seemed to freeze up for a moment, even the clerk when they got to booking.
"Penelope Pryce," Burly said.
"Oh god, oh god," Penelope found herself unconsciously beginning to squat, but Burly and Skinny kept firm holds on her arms, keeping her mostly upright.
"Nghhhh....gahhhh..." The booking process was long and tedious, and she was hardly aware of where she was anymore. Her face was flushed and sweaty, tears pouring down her cheeks. The contractions were strong by then, her belly squeezing painfully, pushing her babies lower. "Hoooo...hahhhh..." She couldn't give birth now. She had to get home, had to get back on her livestream. Penelope clutched her groin. It felt like a baby was trying to crown. "Nrgghhh..."
She was brought to a cell. Skinny's hands were wandering, exploring, rubbing into her sweaty, heaving swell, but no one else seemed to notice, and she was in too much pain to complain. She grunted as she was lowered to a bench, and she slumped back, too afraid to sit fully against her groin. God, they were coming. She squirmed and panted. In her periphery she made out the blurry images of other female prisoners looking at her, but then her eyes squeezed shut as she focused on breathing through the pressure and pain.
She didn't know how long she sat there, whining and rocking while straining to hold her babies inside her. But there was the sound of the jail door unlocking. Someone called her name.
Penelope slowly looked up. "What?" she hiccupped.
"Your friend posted bail. Get moving."
It was a lofty request. Penelope planted her hands on the metal bench. Her feet fumbled beneath her, trying to find leverage. She braced herself to rise, but a forceful contraction left her sinking, spreading herself wide. A bulge began to form in the groin of her shorts. God no, it was crowning! She hugged what she could of her massive belly, willing the babies to stay put as her whole body trembled in protest, the pressure and the burn only exacerbating.
Someone strode in, coming to stand next to the officer. "Pen?"
It was Brad. "W-what are you doing here?" she choked out.
"I posted your bail," Brad said, looking utterly worried as he hurried over. "We have to get you to a hospital."
Penelope fervidly shook her head. "Take me home," she rasped.
Brad hesitated. "Okay, fine. Let's go."
He was strong. He did most of the work in getting her up, and she proceeded in a sort of crab walk. Brad wrapped his jacket around her waist, though it didn't offer much coverage. Her belly was still protruding out on full display, her white tank top rendered transparent by all her leaking, swollen nipples bulging visibly against the thin material.
There were mutterings and gasps as they got to the parking lot. Penelope just groaned and let Brad lead her to the car.
The baby felt huge, stretching her painfully. Her contractions were back to back and she could hardly breathe. Brad took a moment to adjust the passenger's seat for her. He helped ease her in, and she put her feet up on the dashboard. The engine hummed, but she was nearly delirious from pain by then. "Oh god brad, I can't, I can't—"
"Hold on."
It was precisely what she’d been trying to do for the past few hours. She groaned her way through another contraction, trying to fight the urge to push, but it was nearly impossible. The head shuddered forward, maybe only another fraction of an inch, but it was trying to shove its way into the world. She cupped the bulge beneath her shorts, tears pouring down her cheeks. "Haahhhhh...haahhhh..." she struggled to breathe.
"Almost there," said Brad, as the car cruised onwards.
The head jutted forward at least another inch, causing her to throw her head back and wail. Her belly felt so huge and low, lurching and spasming, trying to squeeze the kids out of her. "Call Richard," she heard herself sob.
"Let's get you inside first."
It was only then that she realized they were in front of her house.
Her legs felt numb. Walking was even more awkward and excruciating. She had to stop every few moments for a contraction, gripping Brad for support while also cupping her groin, trying to hold everything in for just a few moments longer. God, she couldn't believe how large it felt. She alternated between fear of giving birth off camera and fear of her large baby just being stuck in place, unable to proceed due to its size.
"T-thank you for bailing me out," Penelope managed as she hobbled inside. She paused as she enduring another contraction, a long groan escaping her throat. Her sweat was dripping onto the floor, skin burning with heat. "Even af-after everything I did."
"Of course." Brad rubbed her back consolingly.
They got to the office and he helped her onto the bed there.
"How did you even know I was arrested?" Penelope managed.
There was no response, but maybe he hadn't heard her. She didn't have the energy to ask again.
"My computer," she croaked. "Make s-sure the camera's runnin...ngghhh…ohhhhh..." her belly rolled and the baby inched forward, crowning more.
"Is that really necessary?" said Brad. There was the distinct snapping noise of the laptop being shut.
"God, Brad." She didn't know how to explain everything to him. Her web fame. The payments. The promised livestream. "I just need the camera on!" she whined through another contraction, the baby shoving forward despite her. It was really coming! She screamed as the head pushed out.
Brad took a long breath. When he spoke, he sounded so articulate compared to his normal blasé demeanor. "My payment should be more than sufficient without the additional funding of the livestream. And I would honestly prefer a private show."
Penelope didn't understand. Her body was straining, trying to push out her baby's shoulders. She screamed with her neck push, contractions barreling through her. She couldn't hold back any longer.
Only as she quieted down to gasp for breath did Brad speak again.
"Pen...I don't actually work stock at grocery store. I'm the owner. I own the whole chain."
"I d-don't understand."
"It was always me. I planned everything. I added hormones to your food, pumped everything you consumed with oils and calories. When I found out you were having triplets, I almost lost my mind. I was so fucking excited. After all, I'm your biggest fan.”
What…what was he talking about?
“I've been watching your videos for years; since your first ever stream. I knew I had to have you. My only regret is that I couldn't knock you up myself."
Penelope sobbed as it all came together. “MakeYou97!?”
"The cash is in the car. The whole nine-mil."
"Oh g-god!" Was he stalking her!?
But she couldn't contemplate the situation any further. With another hoarse groan, she pushed the first of her triplets into the world as Brad sat back and did just as he’d intended. Enjoyed the show.
