He had been changed back into the ceremonial robes from earlier, only now they fit him just fine, no longer seeming to hang off him. He found himself holding it closed at the chest, but it often fell open enough to reveal the round mounds protruding on his chest, aching C-cups, that were shifting slowly, progressively dropping to the perfect tear-shapes. The robe continued down, fitting over the prominent curve of his belly so perfectly, it almost seemed like the fabric had been stitched right onto him. The robe continued to travel along his physique, wrapping his thin hips, then tightening as it went down to his legs and ankles, always showing the prominence of his midsection.
As Clark stood in the mirror, he stared at himself, a bit astonished by how majestic he appeared, his large belly and all. An almost a celestial glow seemed to be radiating from his body.
Clark looked away from the mirror, taking some deep breaths. He knew it was almost time. His back was straining, his belly seeming to be getting heavier by the moment. He fell into panting, beads of sweat forming on his brow. He was getting absolutely huge. Clark absently rubbed his mound, as though to slow it down, ease the growth. Nothing was right about this. He needed help.
Clark slowly made his way to the dresser and dug up his radio hidden beneath some clothing in the top drawer. The reception was back, but who knew how long that would last. Waddling his way over to the bed, Clark eased himself down on the edge of it. Gripping the radio tightly, he closed his eyes and tried his best to remember the extension number for his colleagues back on the mainland.
Since the start of this strange condition these terrible egg-pregnancies everything seemed to be enhanced. His senses, his intellect he could now switch in and out of the Benosha language with relative ease though he had no clue how.
Clark thought hard about the number. He remembered writing it in his now-missing address book, his eyes trailing over his tidy lettering on just that one occasion. Clark closed his eyes and began to dial.

Clark murmured as he pressed the buttons. His eyes snapped open as the radio began to beep. He lifted it close to his face, breathing heavily as he heard someone pick up.
But all that welcomed him was the noise of static. He cursed the horrible reception on the small island. He had been so confident visiting the territory on his own, rejecting his colleagues offers to accompany him. He was deeply regretting that.
Clark pressed the communication button despite his poor luck. If any of you can hear me
He stopped to breathe.
I thought the people here were good, but theyre...ahhhhhhh
There was sudden sensation of tightness in his belly. N-nothings okay about this. He grunted. I dont want to be here. I cant live like this. If I get through the night, Ill

. he took a moment to catch his breath. Ill try to
to escape by the next ferry to the mainland. It only comes once a day. Heres hoping I catch it. The radio falling from his hands, Clark continued to pant. The tightness was unbearable, the robe now pasted to his plump body. It wouldnt be long now.
Clark gasped as his pelvis suddenly jerked violently. Ooh! he yelped as it jerked again and again. Belly bobbing and breasts wiggling, he struggled beneath the mound as his body continued to spasm, the egg being forced downwards, jammed into more and more of his pelvis. He didnt push. He was scared. Clark stared at the eggs perched in the fireplace, his face soaked in sweat. The robe began to pull open as his hips swelled and thighs were pushed apart. His boxers began to tear and his ass pushed out in an obscene and painful way.
Mala and Creta rushed into the room, but Clark struggled against their assistive arms. Noo
stop, he moaned as they pulled him up from the bed and forced him into a crouching position on the floor. Mala tugged his boxers down as Creta pulled his robes off him. Creta then cupped her hands beneath Clarks opening.
His ass was trembling, crack opening. Clark could feel the egg pushing downwards, free from his body, free from his control. And suddenly he wanted nothing more than to get it out of him, even with the likelihood that it would be quickly replaced with another. His face red, he strained, he pushed, feeling himself stretch more than was even possible. But his energy peaked, and he had not pushed hard enough. Clark grunted in pain as the egg began to slide back into him.
You must endure, my King! one of his attendants insisted.
But Clark was beyond caring by then. Maybe he wasnt cut out to be King. Maybe he wasnt strong enough. His body sagging, everything went back.

When Clark began to awake, there were hushed whispers surrounding him, and hands poking, prodding him.
Saul will not be pleased, Clark heard someone murmur.
Clark opened his eyes. He was lying on his side, a damp cloth against his forehead. His eyes shifted downwards then widened as they came in contact with his stomach.
He had grown even larger, his belly making him look as though he was pregnant with quints or maybe even sextuplets! It was large and round, rising and falling with his heavy breathing, seeming to hoover over him. While his breasts and hips were wrapped in cloth, his belly was left exposed, naked, button bulging, looking the size of a golfball by then. Creta and Mala stood by, rubbing his taut flesh with salves and ointments. A tremble ran though the mass, causing Clark to grunt in discomfort, eyes squeezing shut.
Creta frowned down at him. My King
the child is discontent.
Clark struggled to get up. It took quite a bit of effort for him to get into a sitting position. Once he succeeded, he stared at his mass, now perched in his lap. Even with the salves, it was uncomfortably tight, sitting much wider than his hips. Clark groaned as he experienced a strange lurch within it. His navel was flushed pink and looked ready to burst.
Clark swallowed. He couldnt handle this. He needed to get away. With difficulty, he got up to his feet, and managing not to topside, he waddled into the bathroom adjoining the room. He quickly closed and locked the door.
As Creta and Mala knocked and yammered beyond the mahogany, Clark leaned against the sink. Slid down to the floor. He grunted. So uncomfortable. He spread his legs wide so his belly could perch on the ground. Nnnghhh
It trembled again.
Silent tears rolled down Clarks cheeks. He didnt know what to do. He held his head, trying to ignore the relentless banging from the other side of the door. He didnt think he could handle any more of the internal pressure. Was this thing just going to keep growing? Was it going to break him? Growing panicked by the very notion, Clark drew his knees back as much as he could, and pushed.
Grrrghhhh
He pushed and pushed, face red and body straining. The mound heaved, and only as his breasts bobbed against it did he realize how much they had grown as well fat and chunky and beginning to protrude over his straining chest wrap.
Clark didnt have time to worry about that. A vein rising on his forehead, he continued to strain, feeling his hips bulge out at his sides as they again took on the egg, the fabric wrapping his hips tearing open as his hips grew plumper and wider. The breast wrap also began to tear as Clarks body pushed, and throbbed, and swelled. He felt his opening stretch wide as the mass began to crown. But he was already weary, his vision blurring in and out.
Nnnghhh
Clark groaned as he pushed and pushed. He couldnt let himself pass out, not again. He forced more and more of the massive egg out of him, until its greatest width reached the world, and finally, the egg popped free of his body.
Clark dropped to back, gasping for breath. It was done. He lay there for a while, staring at the massive egg perched on the ground between his legs. He had no clue how it was possible that he could give birth to such a thing.
My King! Mala cried from the outside of the door. Let us assist you!
Clark reluctantly peeled himself off the floor. He staggered past the egg and opened the door, and would have collapsed had Malas arms not held him up.
Creta walked passed him and marveled at the large egg. She leaned down, and with difficulty, lifted it into her arms. It was absolutely huge. Creta carried it back into the bedroom where she carefully lowered it before the large fireplace, then rolled it into the flames, to join its siblings there.
This egg was a deep red.
Mala helped Clark into bed and covered him with a blanket. You did well, my King.
I will rest, said Clark languidly.
Yes, my King, said Creta as she joined them. She kissed Clarks hand.
Clark closed his eyes and listened as his attendants withdrew. He heard the door close behind them and he stayed in bed for a while, feeling as the suns rays lowered beneath the window, and then the horizon, until the room was dark, and the corridor was silent beyond his door.
Clark got up and grabbed a large cloak from the closet, wrapping it around himself. Throwing a final glance at the three eggs perched in the fireplace, Clark opened his window, slipped outside, and disappeared into the night.
