Sarah made a quick stop at a clothing store and pulled on the largest shirt she could find. The tank top pulled down all the way, though it still hugged her mound. The neckline was low, and for the first time, Sarah noticed the swollen B-cups in her shirt. Frowning down at her changing body, Sarah paid for the shirt and left the store. Following a short bus ride, she was turning her key in the lock of her front door.
It swung open before she could finish opening it. "Sarah!" Tammy tearfully flung her arms around her.
"You had us worried sick," said Samuel, crossing his arms, though looking immensely relieved.
Sarah pulled her mother off her. She absently rubbed her back. "I guess I just got overwhelmed," she said, forcing a smile. "I needed a breather."
Now her parents were staring at her. Mainly, they had taken notice of Sarah's belly. An awkward silence hung over the trio. Sarah reddened as her stomach grumbled. She could smell dinner cooking on the stove and she suddenly felt famished.
"Well, get in here," said Tammy, wiping her eyes. "And don't ever do that again."
"Promise," Sarah responded as she was pulled into the kitchen.
"We're concerned about you, Sarah," said Samuel. "You had us this close to calling the police." She held her pointer finger and thumb a hairs width apart.
"I'm fine," Sarah responded as she and her father took seats at the kitchen table. "I just stayed over a friend's house. No offense, but you guys are going a little hard with all the family stuff. You're being overprotective."
"Can you blame us?" said Tammy as she lowered a two plates in front of Sarah and Samuel. She then retrieved a plate for herself.
Sarah shrugged. She lifted a forkful of mashed potatoes into her mouth, though this just didn't feel right to her. Sarah forcefully swallowed, but then her eyes widened, and she held her hand to her mouth. She struggled not to be sick.
"Are you okay?" said Samuel.
Sarah nodded. "F-fine." She lowered her hand and managed to keep the potatoes down. Too apprehensive to eat anything else, Sarah took to shuffling food around in her plate. She forked an olive and stared at it.
Sarah could hardly pay attention as her parents started yammering amongst themselves, seeming to be arguing about her well-being as though she wasn't an adult. She removed the olive from the fork and snuck a glance at her parents, both of whom had momentarily lost interest in her. Sarah slipped the olive down to the tail's ovoid tip, her face warming as the dimple took it in, the olive sliding fluidly along the tails length. She closed her eyes in satisfaction.
"Sarah?"
Sarah jumped and opened her eyes. "Hm?" Both of her parents had directed their attention back to her.
"What are you keeping under your shirt, dear?" asked Tammy.
"What?" Sarah reddened.
"Cmon, you look ridiculous," laughed Samuel. What did you, gain twenty pounds since yesterday?"
Feeling flushed, Sarah bit her bottom lip. She didn't know how she was to explain that she had done just that. It suddenly became apparent that she wouldnt be able to keep her secret much longer, given her living situation. She couldn't keep hiding the tail. And so she said, "I'm moving out."
Her parents gave her looks of shock.
"Granddad left me his apartment, didn't he?"
"Sarah!" said Tammy, offended.
"You just returned to us," said Samuel.
"I know," said Sarah. Trust me, I know. But I'm an adult now. And I can see that I'm just stressing you guys out."
"But Sarah"
"And youre stressing me out, she emphasized. This is just something that I need to do." Sarah got up and went to her room. She took her barely-touched plate with her. Feeling starved, Sarah took a seat on the bed, placing her plate beside her. She absently held her stomach as she allowed the tail to unfurl and suck up the contents of the plate. Sarah breathed in relief.
Over the next few days, the rodent problem worsened in Sarah's room, no thanks to the food wrappers that constantly overflowed her waste basket, or the dirty plates and bowls that sat around her bed. And as Sarah slept, the tail continued to feast on mice and rats, rodents that were often plump with litters. In the meantime, Sarah tossed and turned, sweated and moaned. The tail capitalized on the quiet infestation, though seemed to always leave just enough that the rodents could continue to breed.
Sarah awoke in the early hours one morning, breathing heavily and soaked in sweat. Her stretched T-shit was pasted against her rounded belly, a good few inches of her mound protruding out from the abused hem. Her breasts were round, flushed and sweaty, aching nipples protruding through her shirt material.
Sarah drew the shirt up. Her belly was round, feeling uncomfortably bloated. She imagined she looked eight months pregnant by then. "Ohh...mmmmm..." She tried to keep quiet so not to wake her parents while also trying to figure out the cause of all the tension within her stomach. The mound was slightly flushed and shining with sweat, heaving up and down as Sarah tried to catch her breath. She absently rubbed it. "Oh!" Sarah yelped as a popping sensation shot through her navel. She reddened and continued to try to breathe, her hand massaging her now-protruding belly button. She hadn't even eaten recently. This was getting out if hand.
There was a gentle knock on the door. "Sarah, are you okay in there?" Tammy called.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Sarah forced out. She was relieved when she heard her mother walk away. She wasn't sure she would have been able to explain her new outward belly button, at least not at that moment.
Sarah took a moment to wind down, before she heaved herself out of bed. She rubbed her tense back. She had been hoping that she'd have fully digested the piglet by now, but her belly was still quite fat. She really wasn't eating that much...well, she didn't think that she was. For some strange reason, though, she always felt stuffed.
Sarah couldn't seem to eat food orally anymore. She just couldn't keep it down. She ate all her meals via the tail, in secret. This should have concerned her, though for some reason, it didn't. Her swollen mound bobbed somewhat as she began to walk around. Sarah held the underside of her belly to stabilize it.
Sarah got changed then continued to pack her clothes for her upcoming move. Every day it became more and more clear that she needed privacy as she tried to tame the tail and lose the gut weight.
She placed clothes in her suitcase, noting that most of her tops couldn't fit her anymore. But they would in time. She was certain of that.
Sarah paused in the mirror to acknowledge how extraordinary she looked with her slim frame and swollen abdomen. She turned to her side and frowned at herself. She didn't even look natural. She couldn't blame her parents for their confusion.
She was again wearing the tank top she had purchased following the pig incident. Only now it was uncomfortably tight, the hem sliding up frequently enough that she had to constantly pull it down.
Sarah found that she also became hornier the fatter she grew. She would masturbate several times a day, usually in bed, fingering herself or riding the long end of a lotion bottle as her mound quavered and bobbed against it. In addition to that, she couldn't seem to stop thinking about food.
Lightly shaking her head, Sarah continued to pack. She dropped a pair of shorts as she suddenly felt a tickling sensation in her abdomen.
Eyes widening, Sarah felt around her belly, though the sensation was gone. She leaned down to retrieve her shorts, when her tail suddenly shot out, tense and rigid. A tremble ran through the limb, and then it spasmed, Sarah hunching down and gripping her dresser as she gasped for breath. She experienced weird, tightening cramps, that made her face contort in pain. "Nrrghhh..." Her belly heaved and tightened forcefully. Something was wrong! She dropped to her knees and hugged the mound. The tail continued to tremble.
Errgghhh .nggghhhhh Sarah moaned as something began to push into the tail. A small lump pushed out of her belly, along the length of the tail, down to the ovid-shaped tip, against the dimple, where it crowned. Ahhhgghhh!
Something spat from of the head of the tail and onto the floor. Her face sweaty, Sarah looked back at it. It seemed like a yellowish hair ball? She stared at it blankly, when her belly contracted again. Mmffphh! She hunched back down as another lump pushed out of her stomach and into the tail, quickly followed by a third, a fourth, a fifth, and several more. She sat there, trembling, yelping, and groaning as her belly continued to heave with contractions.
There was more knocking on the door. Sarah, whats going on in there? Samuel called.
Sarah struggled to contain her groans. Im fine, dad. Just mmm just leave me alone! she snarled, but then she covered she mouth to contain a yelp, and quickly went back to panting and trembling there on the floor.
There was silence on the other side of the bedroom door. For a moment, the doorknob shook, but thankfully it was locked. Sarah heard her father sigh and walk off.
Sarah rubbed her hands on her contracting belly. Thankfully, things seemed to be winding down. She managed to drop herself onto her bottom and lean on her hands, her legs spread as her belly protruded between them. The mound felt softer, less firm and tight than it had been moments before. And it might have even looked somewhat smaller. She was surprised to see that her belly button had returned to its inward position.
Sarahs gaze shifted to the tip of her tail, which looked swollen, and felt sore. It shifted infrequently, the dimple seeping some fluid. Finally, Sarahs attention moved to the weird, wet yellow balls that the tail had produced. There were over a dozen of them. Some had begun to move and twitch, even fluttering a bit. And then Sarah heard a chirping noise?
