-
Maggie hissed a curse. She began to fumble to replace the athletic tape but her breasts were too bloated and tender for her to have any chance of wrapping them.
She got up, grimacing as her four breasts jiggled with her movements. Im busy at the moment, she called through the door. Did we have an appointment?
There was a pause and Maggie prayed that Bennett would just give up and go.
I would really like a face-to-face, Bennett responded instead. Alternatively, I can call some of your other clients. Im sure theyd love to learn about your odd insistence on not opening your office.
Maggie scowled. It seemed that Bennett was playing dirty now. She clenched her jaw and approached the door, where she laid her hand on the knob. She stood there and stared off for several moments.
Miss Price? Bennett said.
Finally, Maggie drew a deep breath, and opened the door. She slammed it shut the moment Bennett entered the room.
Maggie continued to face the door, shoulders tense, heart pounding in her throat.
Miss Price, I find this highly unconventional. Traditionally, a business owner faces clients during meetings, said Bennetts voice a few feet behind her.
You did not. Schedule. A meeting, Maggie responded tartly. Nevertheless, she forced herself to turn to face Bennett, and found all four of her bloated C-cups on display, nipples protruding against the stretched fabric of her shirt.
Bennetts eyes automatically darted to Maggies chest, widening slightly, then staying rapt with focus.
Is this what you wanted? Maggie ground out, her face hot. Evidence of how much of a freak Ive become? I assume the next step is blackmail.
Miss Price said Bennett, finally tearing his eyes away from Maggies chest, lightly shaking himself as he did so. Maggie what is this?
Isnt it obvious?
I I want you to say it. Because Im almost certain Ive gone insane.
Maggie clenched her teeth, and took a moment, trying not to shudder as her nipples rubbed into her shirt with her chests heaving. Theres something wrong with me. She swallowed. Ive been giving birth to the inventory.
Maggie expected a gasp, a grimace, or a camera flash. She expected for Bennett to immediately pull out his phone and start dialing numbers. Certainly, she hadnt expected for him to simply lick his lips.
I want in.
What? said Maggie.
The puppies are going to bring in tens of thousands, if not more. I imagine the exotic kittens were your doing as well. This is a lucrative opportunity, and I want in.
Youre insane.
I can help you.
I dont want your help, Maggie responded, feeling too vulnerable, and in consequence, defensive. She just wanted to be left alone so she could try to process the transpiring events.
Let me do this. Maggie, Im ready to invest in you.
Maggie hated being treated like some breeding bitch, like a rare animal, but wasnt that exactly how she was treating herself? Or what? she responded icily. You turn me over to the government? Sell my image to the papers?
Of course not. Bennett frowned, then sighed. Just think about it.
Maggie scoffed.
I hope you liked the bras, at least.
Maggie cringed at the thought. Yeah she managed, vaguely.
Bennett opened the door, and Maggie had to fight not to flatten herself against the wall, for fear that Dean or Amelia would glance their way, and spot the bobbing mounds on her chest that werent supposed to be there.
And youre not a freak, Bennett turned back to her. I think youre exceptional. I want to know more about how you came into this particular condition. I want to know the ins and outs of it, so we can work around the issues youre facing. I think we can make money together. Maggie, no one in the industry is doing anything likewhat youre doing. Ill write out a proposal. Perhaps we can meet next week? Over coffee?
Maggie turned slightly, arms folded under her chest, but Bennett continued to linger in the doorway, persistent nuisance that he was.
Ill think about it, said Maggie quietly.
Thats all Im asking. With that, Bennett left.
Once the door closed, Maggie returned to her desk, and slumped down behind it. She groaned, and arched her back.
Her tits were getting really full, flesh tight, nipples stinging. She felt on the brink of sprouting a leak, but somehow her flesh was holding in its warm burden, at least for the moment.
Too unnerved by then to even consider pumping herself in her office, Maggie threw a jacket around her shoulders, held her large purse to her chest, and hunched her way out the door.
Im leaving, she called unceremoniously to Dean, who was ringing up a customer at the register.
Dean called something back, but Maggie ignored him, and hurried outside to her car. In only moments, she sped her way home.
-
That evening, when Maggie wasnt pumping or nursing, she was pacing her living room, her mind spinning as she tried to figure out what she would do about Bennetts increasing awareness and intrusions.
Maggie could use the money. That wasnt even a question. And working with someone who knew about her condition, would certainly simplify things.
But how could Bennett accept things so easily? Maggie found it extremely suspicious. What if he was luring her in to be entrapped or exploited? Who was to say the man was even trustworthy?
Worse, accepting Bennetts investment would be predicated on an agreement. An agreement that Maggie continued to produce, and for however long was required. Maggie found the thought unnerving. She hadnt signed up for this in the first place, it had just sort of happened.
Maggie looked down to notice that her milk was seeping into her shirt from all four nipples. She was sure she had pumped them just recently. Putting on a face, Maggie closed her eyes. She took a long draw of air in an effort to tamp down her stress. Finally, she went to her bedroom to get the remaining puppies living there.
She brought them back to the living room and laid down on the couch, piling them atop her, as they squirmed about in their disorderly way. She supposed in another day or two she could take a dozen more of them to the shop to join their siblings.
The puppies atop her were distracting themselves with playing with each other, and hardly seemed interested in her nipples. She shuffled some of them towards her breasts, but they didnt latch on, instead going back to scrambling around.
A moue crossing her face, Maggie pulled out her cell phone and began to scroll through her contact list. Her free hand idly tweaked one of her nipples. She shuddered as it began to squirt a stream of milk into the air. God, she was so hot, so full.
Hello? responded the voice on the other line.
Maggie halted her idle hand, the squirts tapering to an ooze. Breathless and dithering, she managed, I can do a lunch.
Perfect. Bennett sounded pleased, and Maggie restrained several obscenities from escaping her lips.
Just let me know the time and place, said Maggie coldly, and the two proceeded with the arrangements.
-
Maggie cleaned up well enough, she supposed. She milked herself to the point of discomfort, then bound her lower breasts, before pulling on a shirt, a sweater, as well as a light jacket, if just to ensure that Bennetts greedy gaze hardly got a hint of her busty physique. Maybe if Maggie was lucky, Bennett would think the whole thing had been a dream.
That was not the case.
That cant be comfortable, Bennett said, nodding to Maggies chest as he got up to pull out a chair. They were at a corner table at the small, quiet café Maggie had chosen for that meeting.
Maggies responding sneer was diluted by the evident belch that escaped her throat even as she tried to cover it with her hand. She blushed and crossed her arms. Lets talk business. She sat down.
Of course, said Bennett agreeably as he returned to his seat.
Youre the only one who knows about my situation. Admittedly, Ive been navigating around other people with some amount of difficulty.
I would imagine.
Maggie struggled to contain her combined frustration and mortification.
A waiter came by with offers of coffee or wine. As Bennett chose wine, Maggie waved off both options, and instead sipped from her water glass. As the waiter left, Bennett appraised her.
Youre bloated, he mentioned casually.
Maggie twisted her face in irritation, as she muttered, I havent fed them in a few
No, I mean Bennett trailed off, nodding slightly.
Right. Maggie held her stomach. She had been avoiding that particularly issue. I think its happening again.
Bennett marveled. This is insane.
Yeah, was all that Maggie could really say on the matter. She took another long drink of water. I do need help.
Consider it done. Bennett pulled out a thick folder and slapped it on the table.
For the following hour the two went over contracts, making amendments, agreements, and allowances. Though officially an investor, Bennett would also function as a sort of advisor, working hands-on with the company, even acquiring a small percentage of ownership. The idea was that Bennetts presence would take some of the burden off Maggie in terms of keeping up appearances in meetings.
After they had finished, Maggie felt nauseated by some of her concessions. She felt as though she had sold off her business as well as her body. She had essentially turned herself into a commodity. The two had gotten just short of assigning her a monetary value, and it was all entirely sickening.
Maggie felt breathless and uncomfortable, and found herself fidgeting in her clothes. She gave Bennett a curt nod, put down money for her two waters, then got up, and left without bothering to shake his hand.
-
The money that Bennett brought in went towards new dog and puppy containers, an expansion of the shop into the abandoned building alongside it, and new, preemptive sections for the next surge of inventory, though honestly, it was impossible to know what kind of animals it would have to accommodate. The thought still unnerved Maggie.
Within only two weeks, her house was absent of anymore puppies. They were all on bottlesmost, formula. Some even had been put on wet food. They were all strong and doing well.
It was a relief to be relieved of the personal burden of taking care of them, but Maggies heart still clenched whenever one of them sold. The pet shop adopted a policy of throughout vetting of all customers who wished to purchase animals, but it still didnt help with Maggies separation anxiety. After all, she had not only carried but nursed the puppies to their present healthful states.
Yet it wasnt normal. Maggie tried to rid herself of this misplaced sentimentality. Instead she buried herself in work.
She found herself snacking often, as she had with the two prior pregnancies. She was often partial to juices, and, oddly enough, vegetarian foods.
Maggie continued to attend regular meetings, and kept up a full work schedule, even as she put on weight, and the indigestion got worse. She found herself belching frequently, often rubbing her hand into her stomach, in vain hopes of working the gassiness out. She was getting a small belly by then that left her simultaneously hopeful and miserable. Her personal and professional lives were clashing so violently she didnt know what to do.
Maggie found herself very curious as to what sort of animal she was producing this time. She knew if she saw a vet, they could perform a specialized sonogram, and make just that determination. However, allowing another party to know her secret was not something Maggie could risk doing, so she continued to endure her condition blindly.
As her belly grew larger, Maggie noticed it was softer than with her prior pregnancies. If Dean and Amelia noticed she was putting on weight again, they didnt mention it, and during bank and investor meetings, people hardly paid any attention to her midsection.
Bennett continued to be a sort of silent partner, and was surprisingly unobtrusive. Only lately, he began to stop by and help out at the shop from time to time, probably because he wanted to keep tabs on Maggie, or just because he knew that things were progressing. When Bennett inquired about Maggies condition, in the privacy of the office, Maggie indulged him with vague or stilted responses, still wary of the mans intentions. Sometimes she could feel him staring at her, eying her chest or belly through Maggies layers of clothing. Dean and Amelia were not too welcoming towards their new overseer, and Maggie tried to take advantage of Bennetts appearances by heavily implying that he was the source of the new surges of animal inventory.
All in all, Maggies life was adopting a new definition of normal and she didnt know what to make of it.
