Most of Lauras time in the hospital was spent watching television, for lack of having anything better to do. She channel surfed perpetually there as doctors and nurses came in and out, changing her IV lines, doing her bloodwork, checking her vitals, even examining her breasts at one point.
Laura released a hiss of discomfort as a doctors freezing fingers made contact with her sensitive nipple. Everythings in working order, she assured him, her face flushed as he continued to examine the heated mound.
It appears, he stated simply.
Laura reddened more as each nipple began to drip warm milk. Eugh, great, she huffed sarcastically. Her breasts were round, fat honeydews on her chest, each extremely engorged. Her nipples were almost painfully erect. She was beyond ready to start nursing. There was just the matter of giving birth. Her breasts heaved with her heavy breathing.
The doctors frozen hands pulled out of her collar and moved down to Lauras bloated belly. It was continuously attached with a variety of monitors, her hospital gown drawn up over the mound. Laura tried her best to ignore as the doctor pressed and prodded her, waking some of the babies, causing them to squirm. She squeezed her eyes shut in irritation.
She still didnt know what she was doing there. She felt like a hostage. One day had become two. Two had become three. Soon it was over a week that she was stuck there, being poked, prodded, and injected with things. Every few hours, Laura was made to haul herself up and walk around with an orderly, actual sick people gawking at the hugely pregnant young woman. Her gowns coverage seemed to worsen every day. It didnt help that the hospital staff brought her high-calorie meals around the clock, and she felt helpless but to gobble them down.
Laura was plagued with thoughts of the bills piling up at home while she was stuck there. She needed to get working again. Through a loophole, she didnt have maternity leave through her job, and she didnt have the funds to pursue the matter legally.
Good news, Miss Mathers, said the doctor, as he removed the stethoscope from her cleavage. I think we can discharge you.
Laura heaved a sigh. About time, she started.
The doctor placed his hands on her shoulders, stopping her. Under the condition that you take care of yourself.
I swear, said Laura, absently rubbing her navel. I do care about them. I know you think I dont.
The doctor searched her eyes and Laura stared solemnly back.

Laura was discharged by that afternoon. She spent the next few days at home, doing just what the doctor had ordered. She would scrutinize herself, seeing how she was noticeably bigger since her initial admission to the hospital. The largest maternity wear she could find was having difficulty accommodating her. Most of her time was spent sprawled on the couch, shifting uncomfortably, as her girth grew heavier and heavier every day. She spread her legs wide as her belly grew and encroached more on her lap, while also shelving her breasts atop it. Sometimes she stared blankly into a lens of one of the hidden cameras. She could practically feel Derek watching her. Both knew that Laura was rapidly approaching her due date.
Laura spoke to Derek one night. Rather, she sat there on the phone, in silence, listening to Derek breathe on the other line. There was not much to discuss at that point, but it
helped, to have the company. Finally, Derek spoke:
Why wont you cash the check? he revisited the recurring squabble between them.
Laura took a deep breath. Derek, I
did.

Laura convinced herself that things were different this time. She was using Dereks money, but she wasnt physically dependent on Derek. She wasnt Dereks hostage this time.
Though wasnt she, in a way?
No. Things were distinctly different. Laura had the control. Laura tried to keep relaxed, and not think about how big she was getting. She took it easy, like the doctor ordered. This wasnt too bad.
And yet Lauras sense of control was progressively shrinking as her body grew. She felt flushed and breathless, and could barely move from one room to the next by that point. She waddled about only for brief periods of time. She ordered in food, but only things that had been previously prepared, which wasnt good, because it was making her put on even more weight. Her belly was massive, and Laura was not sure if it was starting to get lower. Regardless of whether it was, it was a tremendous strain on her back and hips. It looked like an overinflated beachball, wider than she was, and Laura could barely fathom how she managed to carry it around. She supposed it was because she had no other choice.
Laura waddled to her bed one evening. Breathless, she stood before it, and placed her hand on the wall, taking a moment to collect her composure. She slid her hands behind her, to her bottom, rubbing her hands up and down the plumply protruding mound. Her hands moved to her hips, which were getting huge. Which mean she was getting close. Oh god
Laura breathed out. There was so much tension. But it wasnt time, not yet.
Laura was admittedly nervous. Things hadnt been easy her first time around.
She eased her bottom down to the bed. She lifted her vitamin bottle, and poured three into her hand. She then took the glass of water on her night table and gulped them down.
She carefully tried to shift herself back, into a recumbent position, her belly gently bobbing as she struggled. She was wearing the long, tight nightgown, which was stretched to the point that it was beginning to tear in places, though the material was thin, so she couldnt really feel the tightness. The babies didnt seem to mind it either.
Laura leaned back against the pillows, closed her eyes, and tried to think about all the things she would do once this was over. Rock climbing, jet skiing, sky divingshe wasnt taking her body for granted anymore. That was for sure. And she certainly wasnt ever getting pregnant again. She had been a skinny young woman before all this. Now she was plumply bloated, near bursting with children, sitting at home, and getting lazy, she feared. She did little more than eating, sleeping, and growing at that point.
In the following days, Laura tried her best to keep active. She put on an apron and took to cleaningin small doses. She even started to cooksmall, simple things. Almost, housewife, things. Everything had to be perfect. Laura paused in chopping carrots at the counter one day. Her chest heaved as she tried to catch her breath, her face flushed red. She always kept a chair nearby in case she tired. Her hand on her bottom, Laura waddled over to the chair, then eased herself down. Sweat poured down her face, and she trembled slightly. She wasnt in labor, but it was getting harder and harder to contain the babies. There just wasnt much room left. She panted and rubbed her lower belly. Easy
she breathed as they squirmed.
Besides the apron, she was wearing a pair of shorts, and a T-shirt that didnt seem to cover any of her belly.
She slid up her apron to observe the plump mound of flesh presently squashing against her spread lap. She glided her hand over her swollen belly button as it twitched with some kicks. Her skin was soft, well moisturized several times a day. Beyond her soft skin though, was a firm, throbbing mound. Laura tried to keep her calories up to avoid anymore unnecessary hospital stays. Laura put her head back, and continued to breathe.
Derek would be getting out soon.
The simple fact had been lingering in the back of her mind. She hadnt wanted to acknowledge it, but there was no way to get around the fact that Dereks upcoming release date had been disclosed to her by the parole board, and so it had been imprinted in the back of Lauras mind. Of course, Laura had had the option to speak against Dereks release during the parole hearing. But then, Laura hadnt thought it to be the brightest idea when she was visibly pregnant with Dereks fourth, fifth, and sixth children. The sheer matter would have probably worked against Laura rather than in her favor.
Then again, Laura wasnt even sure that she was that opposed to Dereks release.
Mentally, she went back and forth on it continually. For some insane reason, she missed Derek. She longed for him all day and night. And yet she knew that he was bad for her.
There was a knock on the door, which caused Laura to blink. She ignored it at first, but the knocking persisted. She wondered if she had forgotten about a food delivery. It wouldnt be that unusual for her. All the hormones at this stage left Laura scatterbrained at times. Laura rocked herself for a few moments. Ohhhh
.nrrrghhhh! She heaved herself up. Holding her belly, she waddled over to the door and swung it open, but then she reddened at who she saw.
It was her family. She would have been elated on another occasion, but instead, Laura stood there, mortified. All five were staring at her in shock.
Her mother held one triplet to her hip, her father, another, and the last stood before them, more adorable than Laura remembered, her mouth wide open as she stared at Laura in awe.
M-mom, d-dad, said Laura, her heart pounding. Girls. They were almost two, and she missed them terribly. As desperately as Laura wanted to hide her humiliation, there was no way she could possibly close that door. Lauras eyes returned to their parents. Their stunned expressions had not changed.
Laura.

That's odd. It's not showing as a link for me. What does it link to?

Laura is one sexy mama. That said, her grunt of exertion near the end seems to be a hyperlink on the mobile app. How odd!
