Tara frowned at herself in her bedroom mirror. She eyed the whiskers sprouting out of her cheeks, and the second pair of breasts perched beneath the first one, not large, but still entirely bizarre. The additional six nipples that trailed on her ribs to her belly, parallel to the first four, but without breast flesh to accompany them. She frowned at the cat ears sprouting out of her thick hair, and finally the three tiger cubs squirming and mewling in the middle of her bedroom floor.
It had been the most bizarre experience of her life. She honestly didnt want to think about it, but it was hard not to, especially when she saw the evidence every time she looked into her bedroom mirror. She had given birth to baby tigers.
When the crazed animal enthusiast at the local zoo claimed to have cursed her, she hadnt taken him seriously. She had been hanging one of the freshmen over the rhino exhibit, when the man had gone completely bonkers and cawed, Every insult that leaves your tongue will bring life to animal young!
She had thought the rhyme was rather corny, at the time. But when she had undergone weight gain and progressive transformation, cumulating in the birth of tiger cubs, it was suddenly hard to be the skeptic.
Thank goodness thats over, she murmured, dropping to her bed wearily.
Except for the ears, and whiskers, and extra nipples and breasts. She was almost surprised she hadnt sprouted a tail.
In the morning, she dressed frumpily, and did her hair in a huge, elaborate, retro style in an effort to hide the ears. She discreetly dumped the cubs in front of the zoo, in a cardboard box marked FRAGILE. Then she went to school.
People were staring at her. At the hair, the whiskers, and the sudden devolvement of her fashion sense. They looked owlishly at her. Some snickered, and Tara instantly felt defensive. Her classmate Cindy Sanders covered her mouth to hide her giggles.
Nice dress, Tara said to Cindy, eying the micro dress she was wearing, better suited for a stripper than a high school senior. But I thought bras were meant for boobs, not tissues.
Cindy looked appalled, and hurried off as the surrounding students tittered. Tara smirked proudly, until she felt her stomach lurch forcefully, her eyes widening in horror.
Not again, Tara groaned, folding her arms over her waist and hurrying into the nearest bathroom.
Her belly was swelling. She could see it pushing out, tightening the baggy T-shirt thrown over her torso. She gripped the sink, breathing heavily, as her mound slowly rolled forward, lurching all the while, straining against her waistband to press against the sink so hard she had to take a step back.
But that wasnt all. Her four breasts were aching, and tightening, nipples stinging as they pushed forward, becoming more hard and pronounced by the moment. She groaned and hugged at herself, but her expanding body pushed her arms farther and farther from her torso. She panted and shuddered, her skin pouring sweat. By the time the growth stopped, she could barely hold herself upright. She looked into the mirror.
Though her belly and breasts had grown profoundly, she had changed in other ways as well. Long fangs had developed where her canines had been. Her irises looked different, as though they had narrowed slightly. Her tongue felt odd and numb, and looked sort of off was it starting to split?
Thisss is bullshit, Tara hissed, straining and struggling to pull her shirt down, but it was stretched taut, and only covered her down to her bulging belly button. She couldnt go back out there like this. Ohhhh for goodnessss sakesss Her belly squirmed and lurched, and she could see a long outline bulging, rolling against the surface, like a tangle of vines, or something thicker. A hose. A snake.
Tara waddled to the door and made sure it was locked. With that, she sunk down the wall, panting quietly, and feeling resigned. She was stuck there, at least until school was out or whatever was in her decided to drop.
