12.
Connor was breathless by the time he got to the lab. It was the one he usually used under Rogers' supervision. Connor waddled his way over to a chair, his belly perching against his lap as he eased himself down. In this position, the mound had pushed its way out of his shirt.
Connor held his bloated belly. He groaned as the contents squirmed. What on earth was going on inside him?
There was only one way to find out.
Much as he wanted to stay in that spot, Connor climbed up to his feet and waddled about, gathering equipment. He turned the machine on, then looked at the exam table.
It took Connor quite some effort to clamber onto it. Once he had succeeded, he was again breathless, his mound heaving up and down. Wasting no more time, Connor spurted some jelly onto his abdomen, grabbed the attachment, and started the sonogram.
He squinted at the screen as it became more and more detailed the more he rubbed. He massaged the remote into every part of his abdomen, then speechlessly stared at what he saw.
All that was visible was a large mound of squirming tentacles - a lot of them. And they completely concealed what lay beneath them.
Connor wiped his hand down his sweaty face.
There were so many of the long, winding limbs. And considering the strength he had observed from them individually, he knew that together, they could easily rip him open if they so chose.
But Connor didn't think they would. The tentacles seemed to have a greater purpose.
He continued to peer at the screen.
Was it a single creature they were attached to? Or multiple ones? Where had the eggs come from? Where had the grapefruit gone? He needed a better picture.
Connor's cell phone began to ring. Pulling it out of his jacket pocket, he lifted it to his ear. "Hello?" he said weakly.
"Connor, it's Brad," said the voice on the other line. "I wanted to apologize about yesterday. I know we were supposed to talk. You know how I get caught up in my experiments."
"It's okay," Connor managed as the tentacles squirmed within him.
"And admittedly, I was a bit blindsided by your
well. We had broken up less than a year ago. I didnt realize you took it so hard."
"Brad, it's not what you think at all," Connor breathed.
He could practically see Brad waving him off. "Connor - no - you don't have to explain anything. Now what was it that you wanted to consult me about? I'm free tomorrow if you want to-"
"How about now?" Connor cut him off.
"Now?" said Brad in surprise.
"I can stop by. Do you still live by exit 7?"
"I, um - yes. Yes, same place."
"I'll see you in an hour." Connor hung up the phone. He returned his attention to his belly, rubbing his hand up and down the spot beneath his navel. A familiar tightness was beginning to occupy the mound. Connor sucked in a long breath of air.

He had managed to find a change of clothes - a button-down sweater that one of the larger lab techs had left in a locker. The material was clingy but fit comfortably. Connor cupped his belly as he waddled out of the school building and to the cab waiting outside.
At present he was sitting in the back as the vehicle sped off towards Brad's place. He did his best to try to distract himself from the increasing tightness in his belly, but it was no use. He fidgeted and rubbed the mound, beads of sweat forming above his brow. Every bump the car hit made him feel like he might burst. He tried to tell himself it was all in his head, but it wasn't! His belly felt tight as a drum!
Water, he needed water.
"Stop!" Connor yelled out, and the cab came to a screeching halt, the driver mainly startled by his outburst.
The driver threw a glance at the massive, panting, sweating young man through his rear-view mirror. "Er, are you all right, sir? he said.
"No," Connor gasped out. He released a grunt as his belly tightened more. He could physically see it pushing out in his sweater, the material clinging more tightly against him as gaps formed between the buttons. "Where...where are we?" Connor forced out.
"By the lake, but I don't think" The driver became alarmed as Connor opened the door. "What are you doing!?"
But Connor left the driver ignored as he clambered out of the cab and waddled his way downhill along the muddy banks and forestry for several yards until he caught sight of the lake. He nearly fell twice. When he was only feet from the water, his boot got caught in the mud for a third time, and he really did fall. His knees connected with the mud, but he just shifted to all fours, his belly rubbing against the earth as he crawled forward. His body strained, his belly absolutely throbbing. He genuinely did feel as though it was about to burst.
As soon as Connor hit the water, his abdominal muscles began to clench and contract. He groaned and shifted in the shallows of the lake, spreading his legs wide as his face reddened. He jammed down his pants and pushed.
He felt a mass unpleasantly shift into his opening - not a tentacle. Connor strained and pushed, wincing in discomfort until a large round object crowned - an egg. He groaned. He held the heaving mass of his belly as he bore down harder, until finally, the egg popped free of his opening.
There was no relief, just an increasing desperation.
Connor kept at work as the egg was replaced by a second one, and that one, replaced by a third, the tension inside him slowly subsiding as he birthed a fourth, then a fifth, then a sixth softball-sized egg. Finally, with the seventh, the tension completely disappeared.
Panting, Connor sagged to his backside and looked down at his body. His round breasts wiggled as his chest rose up and down. His ass had become a squishy round platform beneath him that left him a bit unbalanced even then. His belly had gotten no smaller, but it was no longer painfully tight. If anything - it just seemed larger since the episode.
Connor knew he had to get going, but he suddenly felt fearful about leaving the water. What would have happened if he hadn't made it in time?
Reluctant as he was to move from that spot, Connor struggled a bit, and got up to his feet. It took him a good while and considerable strain to waddle back to the road, by which point, the cab was gone.

Brads house was only a mile off from the lake. By the time Connor made it there, he was dirty and disheveled. His hair was sticking out in every direction, a tuft pasted to his sweaty forehead. Between the lake water and his own sweat, he was soaked, his sweater pasted to his bloated flesh, which actually had begun to push out from the bottom.
He panted heavily, his belly heaving as he stood there. His back strained to support the mound before him, and he felt like he was on the verge of collapse. With a trembling hand, Connor rang the doorbell.
It was only moments before Brad appeared through the windowpane. He smiled at seeing Connor, and opened the door.
A gasp escaped Brads lips. He covered his mouth as he surveyed Connor. But
how? Brad said. I saw you a few days ago... Like any other normal person, Brad was baffled as to how Connor had grown so large in a matter of days.
Brad
said Connor entreatingly, standing there on the doorstep, shivering somewhat. His hole began to tingle, and he compulsively clutched his ass with his hand, though this had proven a useless measure time and time again. I
It
Connors voice shook. He didnt even know where to begin.
Brad frowned in sympathy. Why dont you come out of the cold? Come in, come in, he ushered Connor inside, but as he did, he continued to stare at Connors rounded belly. Brads eyes darted to the large breasts protruding in Connors top, then the massively round posterior that Connors sweats could barely contain.
Brad led Connor to the living room and had him sit down. He left the room, returning shortly with some towels and a blanket that he helped wrap Connor in. Connor rubbed a towel against his moist hair, not able to meet Brads eyes as he sat in the chair opposite him. Connor released a quiet groan as his stomach lurched.
Connor
whats going on? Brad finally said.
Connor looked at Brad, took a deep breath, and started from the beginning. He told him everything about the strange object that he and Rogers had discovered at the site of the meteor landing some days before. How, in his efforts to salvage it, he had hidden it inside of him. He told Brad about the resulting weight gain, and finally, he took a deep breath, and told Brad about the development of the tentacles. Connor forced himself to continue despite Brads stunned expression. He informed him of the quick and steady growth. And the eggs the eggs that had started to come out of him, but only when he was submerged in water. He explained how strong the tentacles were, how easily they were able to overpower him and their arbitrary, often strange diet. How they had even consumed some of Brads lab gerbils during their last meeting. By the time Connor was finished, he knew that it all sounded ludicrous, but hed just had to get it off his chest.
And now Brad was just staring at him, like he thought Connor had gone mad.
Brad was careful in his next words. Connor
you understand that this is a lot to take in. I want to help you but you have to allow me to. Let me take you to the psych ward in Ferton. Their doctors are some of the best.
Brad, Im not lying.
I know youre not, Connor. But youre confused.
Brad, just look at this thing! Connor thrust off the blanket and jerked up his sweater. Brad froze to stare at the round, plump expanse of his belly and his golf ball-sized belly button throbbing at his navel. Connor face reddened as he felt one of the tentacles begin to descend, his hole bulging, then opening, making way for the tentacles bulby green head. Finally, it began to slide out. Connor groaned and shifted as it forcefully demanded freedom to push out of his waistband and come around to his front.
Brads jaw fell slack.
