Ryan made a quick stop at a clothing store and pulled on the largest shirt he could find. This one pulled down all the way, though it still hugged his mound. Frowning down at his protruding abdomen, Ryan released a sigh. He paid for the shirt and left the store. Following a bus ride, he was turning his key in the lock of his front door.
It swung open before he could finish opening it. "Ryan!" Tammy tearfully flung her arms around him.
"You had us worried sick," said Samuel, crossing his arms, though looking immensely relieved.
Ryan pulled his mother off him. He absently rubbed his back. "I guess I just got overwhelmed," he said, forcing a smile. "I needed a breather."
Now his parents were staring at him. Mainly, they had taken notice of Ryan's belly. An awkward silence hung over the trio. Ryan reddened as his stomach grumbled. He could smell dinner cooking on the stove and he suddenly felt famished.
"Well, get in here," said Tammy, wiping her eyes. "And don't ever do that again."
"Promise," Ryan responded as he was pulled into the kitchen.
"We're concerned about you, Ryan," said Samuel. "You had us this close to calling the police." He held his pointer finger and thumb a hairs width apart.
"I'm fine," Ryan responded as he and his father took seats at the kitchen table. "I just stayed over a friend's house. No offense, but you guys are going a little hard with all the family stuff. You're being overprotective."
"Can you blame us?" said Tammy as she lowered a plate in front of Ryan and Samuel. She then retrieved a plate for herself.
Ryan shrugged. He lifted a forkful of mashed potatoes into his mouth, though this just didn't feel right to him. Ryan forcefully swallowed, but then his eyes widened, and he held his hand to his mouth. He struggled not to be sick.
"Are you okay?" said Samuel.
Ryan nodded. "F-fine." He lowered his hand and managed to keep the potatoes down. Too apprehensive to eat anything else, Ryan took to shuffling food around in his plate. He forked an olive and stared at it.
Ryan could hardly pay attention as his parents started yammering amongst themselves, seeming to be arguing about his well-being as though he wasn't an adult. He removed the olive from the fork and snuck a glance at his parents, though they had momentarily lost interest in him. Ryan slipped the olive down to the tail's ovoid tip, his face warming as the dimple took it in, the olive sliding fluidly along the tails length. He closed his eyes in satisfaction.
"Ryan?"
Ryan jumped and opened his eyes. "Hm?" Both of his parents had directed their attention back to him.
"What are you keeping under your shirt, dear?" asked Tammy.
"What?" Ryan reddened.
"Cmon, you look ridiculous," laughed Samuel. What did you, gain twenty pounds since yesterday?"
Feeling flushed, Ryan bit his bottom lip. He didn't know how he was to explain that he had done just that. It suddenly became apparent that he wouldnt be able to keep his secret much longer, given his living situation. He couldn't keep hiding the tail. And so he said, "I'm moving out."
His parents gave him looks of shock.
"Granddad left me his apartment, didn't he?"
"Ryan!" said Tammy, offended.
"You just returned to us," said Samuel.
"I know," said Ryan. Trust me, I know. But I'm an adult now. And I can see that I'm just stressing you guys out."
"But Ryan"
"And youre stressing me out, he emphasized. This is just something that I need to do." Ryan got up and went to his room. He took his barely-touched plate with him. Feeling starved, Ryan took a seat on the bed, placing his plate beside him. He absently held his stomach as he allowed the tail to unfurl and suck up the contents of the plate. Ryan breathed in relief.
Over the next few days, the rodent problem worsened in Ryan's room, no thanks to the food wrappers that constantly overflowed his waste basket, or the dirty plates and bowls that sat around his bed. And as Ryan slept, the tail continued to feast on mice and rats, rodents that were often plump with litters. In the meantime, Ryan tossed and turned, sweated and moaned. The tail capitalized on the quiet infestation, though seemed to always leave just enough that the rodents could continue to breed.
Ryan awoke in the early hours one morning, breathing heavily and soaked in sweat. His stretched T-shit was pasted against his rounded belly, a good few inches of his mound protruding out from the abused hem.
Ryan drew the shirt up. His belly was round, feeling uncomfortably bloated. He imagined he looked eight months pregnant by then. "Ohh...mmmmm..." He tried to keep quiet so not to wake his parents while also trying to figure out the cause of all the tension within his stomach. The mound was slightly flushed and shining with sweat, heaving up and down as Ryan tried to catch his breath. He absently rubbed it. "Oh!" Ryan yelped as a popping sensation shot through his navel. He reddened and continued to try to breathe, his hand massaging his now-protruding belly button. He hadn't even eaten recently. This was getting out if hand.
There was a gentle knock on the door. "Ryan, are you okay in there?" Tammy called.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Ryan forced out. He was relieved when he heard his mother walk away. He wasn't sure he would have been able to explain his new outward belly button, at least not at that moment.
Ryan took a moment to wind down, before he heaved himself out of bed. He rubbed his tense back. He had been hoping that he'd have fully digested the piglet by then, but his belly was still quite fat. He wasn't consuming that much...well, he didn't think that he was. For some strange reason, though, he always felt stuffed.
Ryan couldn't seem to eat food orally anymore. He just couldn't keep it down. He ate all if his meals via the tail, in secret. This should have concerned him, though for some reason, it didn't. His swollen mound bobbed somewhat as he began to walk around. Ryan held the underside of the mound to stabilize it.
Ryan got changed then continued to pack his clothes for his upcoming move. Every day it became more and more clear that he needed privacy as he tried to tame the tail and lose the gut weight.
He places clothes in his suitcase, noting that most of his shirts couldn't fit him anymore. But they would in time. He was certain of that.
Ryan paused in the mirror to acknowledge how extraordinary he looked with his slim frame and swollen abdomen. He turned to his side and frowned at himself. He didn't even look natural. He couldn't blame his parents for their confusion.
He was again wearing the shirt he had purchased following the pig incident. Only now it was uncomfortably tight, the hem sliding up frequently enough that he had to constantly pull it down.
Ryan found that he also became aroused more frequently the fatter he grew. He would masturbate several times a day, usually in bed, pumping his cock as his mound quavered and bobbed against it. In addition to that, he couldn't seem to stop thinking about food.
Lightly shaking his head, Ryan continued to pack. He dropped a pair of shorts as he suddenly felt a tickling sensation in his abdomen.
Eyes widening, Ryan felt around his belly, though the sensation was gone. He leaned down to retrieve his shorts, when his tail suddenly shot out, tense and rigid. A tremble ran through the limb, and then it spasmed, Ryan hunching down and gripping his dresser as he gasped for breath. He experienced weird, tightening cramps, that made his face contort in pain. "Nrrghhh..." His belly heaved and tightened forcefully. Something was wrong! He dropped to his knees and hugged the mound. The tail continued to tremble.
Errgghhh .nggghhhhh Ryan moaned as something began to push into the tail. A small lump pushed out of his belly, along the length of the tail, down to the ovid-shaped tip, against the dimple, where it crowned. Ahhhgghhh!
Something spat from of the head of the tail and onto the floor. His face sweaty, Ryan looked back at it. It seemed like a yellowish hair ball? He stared at it blankly, when his belly contracted again. Mmffphh! He hunched back down as another lump pushed out of his stomach and into the tail, quickly followed by a third, a fourth, a fifth, and several more. He sat there, trembling, yelping, and groaning as his belly continued to heave with contractions.
There was more knocking on the door. Ryan, whats going on in there? Samuel called.
Ryan struggled to contain his groans. Im fine, dad. Just mmm just leave me alone! he snarled, but then he covered he mouth to contain a yelp, and quickly went back to panting and trembling there on the floor.
There was silence on the other side of the bedroom door. For a moment, the doorknob shook, but thankfully it was locked. Ryan heard his father sigh and walk off.
Ryan rubbed his hands on his contracting belly. Thankfully, things seemed to be winding down. He managed to drop himself onto his bottom and lean on his hands, his legs spread as his belly protruded between them. The mound felt softer, less firm and tight than it had been moments before. And it might have even looked somewhat smaller. He was surprised to see that his belly button had returned to its inward position.
Ryans gaze shifted to the tip of his tail, which looked swollen, and felt sore. It shifted infrequently, the dimple seeping some fluid. Finally, Ryans attention moved to the weird, wet yellow balls that the tail had produced. There were over a dozen of them. Some had begun to move and twitch, even fluttering a bit. And then Ryan heard a chirping noise?
