Laura didnt know how, but she somehow made her way out of the theater, lightly bumping people with her belly as she navigated out of the aisle. She was panting by the time she got outside the theater door.
But now she was back in the light and fully visible to curious eyes. Laura self-consciously turned away from the people staring at her from by the food stands.
Still panting and red, she finally looked down at herself, at theway her blouse was stretched tight over the mass of her abdomen, diamonds of skin visible between the buttons. The top as a whole had ridden up slightly, the hem barely making contact with the waistband ofher skirt anymore, which in turn, was pushed down beneath her belly.
How had she gotten so big so quickly? She looked due with child by then. Laura held the mound in uncertainty. She shook her head atherself, almost in denial.
Oh god, was all she could think. How am I going to carry this to term? She rubbed the mound.
Even worse, she was aroused. Laura breathed in and out, trying to cool down. At least the tension was subsiding, her stomach slowly relaxing again. It didnt do much to improve her predicament, but Laura tried to be optimistic.
She leaned on the wall and sagged slightly against her mound, feeling completely wiped out. Maybe she should call Jefferies. These growth spurts couldnt be normal. Lauras chest tingled and she knewthat her nipples were seeping in her maternity bra. Sweat poured fromher brow, and she continued to breathe, trying to regain some semblanceof composure. She already loved these babies, but they were certainly putting her under a great deal of strain.
Laura.
Laura tensed as the door to the theater opened beside her. She instinctively hunched slightly, not that this did her any good. There was no hiding the bump. Not a chance.
Chad, said Laura weakly, her cheeks reddening. She must have looked like a mess.
Chad was now openly staring at her belly.
I should go, said Laura.
Why? said Chad, finally lifting his gaze.
Because I Lauras belly gurgled, and she held it.
There was an awkward pause.
Shall we move on to dinner? said Chad.
Laura bit her bottom lip. Chad was such a nice guy. Why was he wasting his time with someone who was clearly pregnant? Laura was sortof stunned. I cant she started, but then her stomach grumbled again. Lauras blush deepened as she wondered why the babies were doing this to her. I stand corrected, she forced out.
There was a small Mexican restaurant nearby. Chad said it was great.
And he was correct.
Still, as Laura sat at the table, she couldnt help feeling uncomfortable and self-conscious, her clothes almost unbearably tight onher, her face flushed, her shoulders hunched, and her elbows on the table, almost creating a cage around her belly.
It took a good while for Laura to uncoil. She kept having to remind herself that everything was alright. And so far, no milk had seepedthrough the padding of her maternity bra. Laura relaxed slightly, sinking back in her chair, her belly resting heavily on her lap.
Laura nibbled at her nachos and supplied single-word responses toall Chads efforts to engage her in small-talk. Still, Chad somehowmanaged to be really funny. And nice. The longer that dinner went on, the more Laura relaxed. Laura covered a slight belch after she had madeher way through her third course of the meal.
And Chad was back to staring at her. Laura looked down, suddenly resenting herself again.
Whats going on with you? Chad finally found the courage to ask. Youve really changed, and
quite quickly. Is it a
medical thing?
Sort of, Laura mumbled. She rubbed her belly under the table. I
Im
A phone started to ring. Blinking, Laura reached into her pocket and pulled out her cell phone. There was an unfamiliar number on thescreen. Laura lifted the phone to her ear. Hello? she said, givingChad an apologetic look.
Is this Laura Mathers?
Whos asking? said Laura.
I need to verify you as the emergency contact for Derek Chambers. Im afraid theres been an incident.
Lauras heart skipped a beat. What happened? she said, managingto get up despite the dizziness that suddenly overcame her. She continued to rub her belly, feeling sick. Yes, yes, Im Laura. The lastdigits are 4631. What happened to Derek? Laura continued into the phone, barely noticing Chad as she walked out of the restaurant and headed for her car.

Derek didnt look good. He was very pale. He was lying unconsciousin his hospital bed, one of his wrists handcuffed to the bars. Somebandages encircled his torso where a gaping wound on his side had beenstitched up. One of the other inmates at his prison had attacked him.
Seated in the chair beside the bed, Laura put her face in herhands, her shoulders trembling and her heart pounding in her ears. Sheneeded to relax, to calm down. It was just that Derek was the father ofher children. But Laura was sure that Derek would likely be okay, andthis almost, probably, wasnt Lauras fault. It wasnt Lauras fault fornot visiting Derek. It wasnt Lauras fault for going out with Chad when she should have been
Laura?
Laura looked up, feeling a flood of relief at the voice. Derek, she said breathlessly. Oh god. With some difficulty, Laura got to her feet.
Dereks eyes widened at the sight of Lauras bulging midsection. He started to shift.
Take it easy, said Laura.
But Derek struggled to sit up, grunting in pain as he did so. Hewas soon hugging Lauras midsection, sliding her shirt up, kissingLauras swollen navel as Laura blushed and lightly shook her head.Unbelievable.
But Derek seemed content.
You really like seeing me this way, dont you? mumbled Laura, her cheeks red. She placed her hand on Dereks head.
Derek didnt respond. And he wouldnt let Laura go.
As this went on, and Lauras back started to ache, Laura felt thatshe had no choice but to climb into the hospital bed beside Derek. Once Laura was situated, maybe her body relaxed, because buttons began topop. Laura quietly cursed to herself, and Derek took the liberty ofunclasping Lauras bra, freeing her breasts, which was admittedly, quite the relief, even as Lauras nipples dripped and moistened her shirt.
Lauras night was spent lying back, her arms folded behind head as she stared at the ceiling and Derek continued to hug her belly.
And it felt strangely
comfortable.
-
It was the early hours before sunrise and Derek had drifted off,but Laura still hadnt managed to fall asleep. Her stomach had becomecompletely relaxed, whereas her groin tingled in discontent arousal, and her nipples dripped milk. Laura breathed in and out and tried to thinkof other things besides her heated body.
It was just that she was so close to Derek. Laura hadnt had suchan extended period of contact with Derek in a long time, notsincebefore. Since her last pregnancy. And all Laura wanted was to goto sleep, and yet her body seemed so desperate, so aroused, it almost hurt.
Lauras eyes widened when she suddenly felt Dereks hands on her. Gently, Derek turned Laura around so that Lauras back was to Dereks chest. Derek then leaned over her, pressed his lips to Lauras right nipple, and took to sucking, sucking her milk.
Laura groaned, but Derek clamped his hand over her mouth. He probably didnt want them to alert the guards outside. Dereks hand thenslid down to Lauras waistband, pushing her skirt down below her hips.
Derek, said Laura weakly.
Shhhhh
said Derek as he slowly shifted, navigating himself to her opening.
Laura bit her lip to muffle her grunts. She then deeply inhaled. Weakly nodded. Both Lauras hands, and Dereks one free hand slid down to cradle Lauras belly. It was awkward with Dereks handcuff. But they rocked in the rhythm of each others bodies, Lauras belly bobbing up and down.

That morning, Laura somehow squeezed herself in the tiny hospitalroom bathroom, and spent several minutes trying to tug her panties up her bubble butt. Her clothes seemed even tighter on her today, if thatwas even possible.
There was a knock on the door. Laura paused, and managed to turn around in the smalls pace with some difficulty. She opened the door just a little and poked her face through.
It was a nurse. Good morning, she said to Lauras questioninggaze. You dont know me but
Ive heard of you. I just want to make sure everythings alright. She held up a pile of clothes as she frowned at Laura in concern.
Laura swallowed. Some people at the hospital seemed to know who she was. They knew of the unnamed young woman who Derek Chambers had gotten pregnant then held hostage until she was well overdue. Laura supposed she fit the description.
Yeah, said Laura, forcing a smile. Im fine. Thanks. She took the clothes and waited for the nurse to leave.
But as the nurse walked away, Lauras smile dropped. I think, she mumbled as she closed the door.

Laura has become quite the celebrity I see, how cute~ I'm glad Chad was a nice enough guy to take her out for food. A shame she ran out on him.
